YNET: “Oslo is dead. The Bar-Ilan speech is dead.”

By Ted Belman

It isn’t every day that a left of center Israeli newspaper takes such a clear position on Oslo and the two-state solution.

Yediot Aharonot refers to the controversy over Migron:

“The small communities cropping up on every hilltop cost the state in capital, infrastructures and security measures. A proper right-wing government needs to formulate a policy in keeping with its outlook: Construction in the larger communities yes, construction in the smaller communities, no. There is no need. Oslo is dead. The Bar-Ilan speech is dead. The whole world knows that. Now it is possible to stop winking and start investing in what is right.”

  1. “A proper right-wing government needs to formulate a policy in keeping with its outlook: Construction in the larger communities yes, construction in the smaller communities, no. There is no need.”

Construction — directing construction, “permitting” construction, disallowing construction, etc — is not a proper function of any government.

If people want to build in larger communities, that’s for them to decide.

If they want to build in smaller ones — again, that’s their business.

  2. C.R. is right. Anyone who gave credence to the idea that the arabs would give up their desire to eliminate Israel was living in a fool’s paradise. Israel must remain a regional “superpower” until the arabs give up their idea of Islamic supremacy. That may never happen so Israel must remain strong for ever until the world finally realizes that it is in its own interest that Israel survive.

  3. The whole world knows that. Now it is possible to stop winking and start investing in what is right.”

A disingenuous statement designed to swindle the Jews again. First, it is not about what the whole world knows because they should know how they CONTINUE to slaughter and swindle the Jews. Those that do not do it directly give support to those that do. Until this fact is driven home the Jews will continue to be played as fools. The Jews need to invest in what is in their INTEREST regardless of the problems or inconveniences of others. This statement about investing in doing what’s right is a cover designed to fool the Jews into accepting that they must be the only ones doing what’s right. During the existence of the Geneva Conventions the world has continued to this day its crimes against the Jewish humanity while at the same time insisting that the Jews observe the one sided rules. The Jews must annex Y&S & transfer the arabs. This is what was done to the Jews by the arabs and the world continues to ignore the crime and focus attention on arabs “rights” ENOUGH I SAY!!!
