Israel must assert her right to the land

Ted Belman

Spokes persons for Israel are adhering to their talking points. “We deplore the deaths but the responsibility rests with Hamas. They are committing a double war crime, namely hiding among civilians and shooting at civilians.”

Having said that it is hard to complete with pictures of dead and bloodied children even when some of the pictures have been recycled from the Syrian war.

But even if we make the case with an ever increasing number of people, we are left with a major problem that we don’t answer. Even if Hamas is guilty, what about the rights of the Palestinians. Why don’t we give them back their lands? Why do we keep building illegal settlements and so on. Bibi’s only response is that we won’t jeopardize our security. In the battle between their rights and our security, Israel is not doing well.

Bibi must embrace the Levy Report and state unequivocally, the land is legally ours and the settlements are not illegal. Then the battle will be their rights v our rights. That’s a better battlefield for Israel.

Unless phoenix and Devolin get me first !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think they want to get Hamas first to have them completely defeated. As women are more gifted with intuition than men, they need your support to deal with our arch enemies.

When Yamit82 comes for us Darlin, we shall be together holding hands.

We can win him to our side because he is a good soldier and a veteran. We have similar goals but sometimes different tactics.

Even in fear of your mighty and powerful wrath I must say BB was very effective on Chris Wallace’s new program on FX today.

I did watch FOX Sunday. BB defended Israel very well!
I like everything that he said.

  4. The left gave up J & S for so many decades that it is very difficult for any Gvt to go back and reclaim J & S as integral part of IL. But it seems to me that this is the ONLY sensible and logical solution no matter the cost.

  5. Israel must assert her right to the land.”

True. But are the Israeli leaders sincerely convinced, in their hearts and minds, that the land ownership belongs to the Jewish People?

Based upon Israel’s wrongdoings since the aftermath of the Six Day War, while they assigned the Temple Mount to Arabs, some may wonder how far their voluntary blindness and willful misconduct can go.

How come the Israeli leaders ignore and turn a blind eye to the two treaties of international law (the San Remo Resolution and the Mandate) which granted to the Jewish People worldwide the right to found their national home in the Land of Israel?

How come the Israeli leaders ignore that the Land of Israel within the boundaries of Palestine is indeed from the Mediterranean Sea to the Euphrates River (Iraq), and from the Litany River (Lebanon) to the Nile River (Egypt)?

How come the Israeli leaders persist to base the creation of State on the Resolution 181 – whose adoption was illegal for all intents and purposes – in violation of the two above mentioned treaties of international law by the partition plan between Jews and Arabs provided therein, thereby depriving the Jewish People worldwide from their permanent and indefeasible rights in virtue of international law.

How come the Israeli leaders did embrace the status of “belligerent occupiers” under the Fourth Geneva Convention with respect to the heartland of the Jewish People worldwide, namely in Yehouda and Shomron?

The Israeli leaders twist and turn the rights of the Jewish People worldwide as it suits them and as it is convenient to them:

    (i) they dispossessed the Jewish People worldwide from the Temple Mont and the east sector of Jerusalem,
(ii) they dispossessed the Jewish People worldwide from Hevron, Bethlehem, Scheckhem, Jericho, etc.
(iii) they dispossessed the Jewish People worldwide from Yehouda and Shomron and Gaza.

The Israeli leaders should be made aware that the Land of Israel does not belong to them personally, and that the Jewish citizens of Israel live in the Land exclusively on the basis of their affiliation with the Jewish People worldwide.

Failing to recognize the foregoing, then from a legal perspective, by relating themselves to the illegal Resolution 181, they turn out to have the same status as the illegal occupier of the Land called “Jordan”.

This is the reason why the biggest farce of the so-called “Palestinian” people and “Palestinian” territory, has gone on long enough and that the “peace process” should be stopped once and for all.

  7. Israel must assert her right to the land

    Ted Belman

As long as BB is PM we are not going to adopt any of your suggestions or demands. You want change fist BB must be expunged from office and in any position of authority in Israel.

He is so corrupt we have lost any semblance of political independence.

  8. state unequivocally, the land is legally ours and the settlements are not illegal.

Nor illegitimate as the USA likes to assert.

Why does BB avoid this simple verbal statement? Does he believe that jewish settlement in YS is illegal or illegitimate?

Even if he did not want to annex or claim for the state of Israel he could still simply say that:
JEWISH(not Israeli) SETTLEMENT IS LEGAL AND LEGITIMATE!!!

and he could still facilitate world jewish settlement in YS without claiming YS for Israel but allowing YS to self determination as the mandate envisioned.

The worst and most blatant obstructor to world jewry settlement in the former mandate is the state of Israel. without the obstruction of the state of Israel jews could settle in YS.
