Education Minister and Jewish Home chairman Naftali Bennett said on Saturday night that if opposition chairman MK Yitzhak Herzog plans on joining the coalition, he will have to accept the coalition’s guidelines which say that there will be no Palestinian state.

Speaking to Channel 2 News, Bennett said, “If Herzog wants to join the government on the basis of the absence of a Palestinian state – that’s great; if he wants to change the government’s guidelines, we will not be there.”

“The government’s guidelines are not talking about a Palestinian state, so what the Prime Minister says [regarding a Palestinian state] is his own stance – this is not the position of the Israeli government,” he stressed.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has in recent days called for unity in Israel, in wake of the recent security situation. Zionist Union members have mostly rejected the calls, though reports last month indicated that Netanyahu had offered Herzog several ministerial portfolios in the government and in return was willing to “phase out” Bennett from the coalition.

In Saturday’s interview, Bennett also addressed his talks with IDF commanders in the field, which resulted in Netanyahu reprimanding him during Operation Protective Edge last summer.

“I went down to the field during Protective Edge, I met officers and I was reprimanded for it and I will be continue to be reprimanded, but I don’t care because that’s what brought about the destruction of the [Hamas terror tunnels],” he continued. “If that’s what causes things to change, I will be reprimanded with great pride…let them reprimand me from here to eternity.”

Regarding the demand to build new homes in Judea and Samaria, Bennett said there was no building freeze in the region, but there was not enough construction.

“There is no freeze in Judea and Samaria, in recent years the residents of Judea and Samaria grew by fifty percent. Is there sufficient building? No,” he said.

Bennett also stressed in an interview that “there will be no blanket prohibition to ascent the Temple Mount. We must not harm the rights of Jews.”

No,” he said.

but isnt that settlement only in the major blocks which “everyone knows Israel will keep” according to BB: the red line of the ghetto where the euros stipulated the Jews must not cross.

EU envoy: I don’t get why Israel makes such a fuss about labelingJerusalem proudly declares that it has the right to build everywhere in its homeland, so why does it mind if we mark settlement goods, Ambassador Faaborg-Andersen asks
    http://www.timesofisrael.com/eu-envoy-i-dont-get-why-israel-makes-such-a-fuss-about-labeling/

filthy danish euronazi wants to label the good jews from the bad Jews……

“If the settlements were at a level where they were almost marginal, then obviously there would be less attention to this particular issue, and then it might not have been that necessary to implement that particular provision,” he said regarding the labeling guidelines. But since “settlements are expanding all the time,” he said, the EU feels compelled to introduce a mechanism to inform customers about the origins of Israeli products.

filthy danish euronazi says jews must stay in the lines of the euro designated ghetto for jews.

But then shouldnt this filthy danish europig be persona non grata in Israel? Shouldnt it be a criminal offense in Israel to declare YS illegal or illegitimate for Jews just like anti semitism should be? shouldnt this filthy danish euroswine be called in by BB and expelled for seeking to put jews in a ghetto, keep them from their homeland? why hasnt BB demanded the euros to honor their agreements of balfour and LON mandate which they signed? BB allows the filthy euroscum to continue to stalk jews in their homeland, to threaten, to extort, to blackmail with glee and gloating. YS should be a closed military zone to all foreign gov agents, including the UN EU and US. but then BB himself cannot bring himself to utter the words that “jewish settlement in all of YS is legal and legitimate”, which is why Benett will be gone.

All of the current riots and deteriorating security situation devolves from a lack of support by the GOI of Jewish rights of worship, settlement and freedom from muslim attacls and abuse.

  2. “If Herzog wants to join the government on the basis of the absence of a Palestinian state – that’s great; if he wants to change the government’s guidelines, we will not be there.”

“The government’s guidelines are not talking about a Palestinian state, so what the Prime Minister says [regarding a Palestinian state] is his own stance – this is not the position of the Israeli government,” he stressed.

the words above in bold tell the story… DUH, bennett, that’s the idea…… when labor comes in it will be because BB has decided you are no longer needed… so yes… you will not be there.
BB needed Benett to maintain his image as a right wing leader… but now he will be able to drop benett the irrelevant eunuch and make a deal with Herzog, just like he did with Lapid. All of this was made possible by those who switched from benett to BB at the panic.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has in recent days called for unity in Israel, in wake of the recent security situation.

just as I predicted, situations will arise which will enable BB and Herzog to join up.

reports last month indicated that Netanyahu had offered Herzog several ministerial portfolios in the government and in return was willing to “phase out” Bennett from the coalition

    right on schedule

Zionist Union members have mostly rejected the calls,

soon Herzog will make the supreme sacrifice for the nation of Israel and join the “coalition” after BB makes a concession to him that he can wave to his constituencies to demonstrate that he has not gone to bed with the right wing enemy. the concession(freeze settlements for talks? the simplest as it already defacto exists) can be meaningful or BS, it does not matter, it will provide the excuse. watch and see.

Anyone who showed any support for Jews rights or settlement in YS has been sent to siberia. the only strong man left will be outside of any gov… he would intentionally kill the enemy but also does not care about YS.
