Egyptian TV Admits Islam Has no Ties to Jerusalem

By Karin McQuillan, AMERICAN THINIKER

Egyptian TV has been infamous for decades for their Arab-Nazi programming.

Every Egyptian leader from Nasser through Sadat to Mubarak has enshrined Nazi Jew-hatred in mainstream Egyptian culture out of both conviction and political calculation. Nasser, trained by Nazis as a youth, spread the genocidal conspiracy theories of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion… On the Ramadan following 9/11, Mubarak presided over a thirty-week-long TV series dramatizing Elders and its genocidal message.

So when Egypt TV runs a series of interviews declaring that Islam has no connection and no claim on Jerusalem, it is news-worthy. Could it be a sign that Egypt understands their state-sponsored antisemitism, used cynically to direct their people’s anger at Israel as a scapegoat, has backfired, and is fueling the jihadi threat to their own government? If Egypt were to abandon their Nazi heritage it would be of historic importance.

The Egypt TV interviews are a repudiation of American liberal media, which has taken to shameful support of jihadi claims that the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem never existed, and that Jews have no historical connection to the land of Israel.

The Egypt TV interviews were with Prof. Ziedan, the director of the Museum in the Library of Alexandria, a well-known lecturer, university professor, columnist and author of fifty plus books.

Professor Ziedan told his Egyptian audience: “The religious aspect of the [Israeli-Arab] conflict is nonsense… The only reason why Muslims insist on the sanctity of Jerusalem is simply politics.”

  1. The best solution will be to ship Al-Aqsa to Jordan. This will eliminate an excuse to vilify the Jews and will become a source of income for Jordan. Two significant benefits.
Why on Earth does the Western world want, at any cost, create a 58th fanatical state if it is not for their perennial antisemitism?

  2. The Land of Israel, and specifically Jerusalem, is the core and heart of the Jewish Nation. Torah mentioned Jerusalem 667 times. Jerusalem is not mentioned in the Koran even once and the story that Muhammad “traveled” to Jerusalem in his “sleep” was invented later for political reasons. Muhammad, in his verse, has talked about a furthest (uttermost) Mosque and did not mention Jerusalem at all. There was no and could not have been a Mosque in Jerusalem at that time, because there were no Muslims there at the time. Jerusalem was [then] a Christian-occupied city. Muhammad verse was revealed about 622, Muhammad died in 632. Jerusalem was conquered by Muslims in 637 and the mosque was built in 672-691.
Ask yourself: if the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Temple Mount is so sacred to Muslims, why do they play soccer near it, or collect stones there to attack Jews. Let them try to play soccer at the Mecca and Medina holly places. We would see what happens then. From 1948 to 1967 Jordan controlled the so called West Bank (Judea and Samaria) and Al-Aqsa Mosque. During this time King Hussein never visited this holiest Mosque. It looks that its holiness in reality is only a tool to deny Jewish rights. They even deny Jews the right to pray there.
The Koran clearly says that this Land belongs to the Jewish People. Anybody who contradicts this teaching, contradicts Koran and Islam. The Children of Israel: “Dwell securely in the Promised Land…” (The Koran, The Night Journey 17:104). Koran clearly states (Sura 5:21) that God granted the Land of Israel to the Children of Israel and ordered them to settle there.

    It’s a typo… It’s not liberal media, it’s libel media.
