Israel is screwed, blued and tattooed

By Ted Belman [This is a letter I wrote to a few respected analysts.]

Jonathan Spyer just wrote Shifting Mideast Sands Reveal New Alliances

I was disappointed with the article as he didn’t factor in US policy. I pointed out that there is a very strong bond between Qatar and the US. They are working together to align with Islamists throughout the ME and N. Africa at the expense of the secular dictators.

The S Arabia split with Qatar is also a split with the US.

While the US is still supporting the MB in Egypt, S Arabia just declared them a terrorist organization.

As Jonathan pointed out, there is an alliance between S Arabia and Egypt.  Israel is an ex officio member of that alliance.

Which brings us to Hamas. Both Qatar and Iran are are establishing a foothold in Gaza; Qatar through Hamas and Iran through Islamic Jihad.

As we know, Egypt is destroying the tunnels to Gaza and fighting Hamas, al Qaeda and others in Sinai. Less known is that the CIA is backing the Islamists in Sinai and elsewhere. The US is committed to bringing down al Sisi and restoring the MB to power.

Because of my reference to the Brookings Institute, a contact of mine in the intelligence community wrote to advise,

“The United States, by locating its intelligence fusion operations in Qatar,  has  deliberately chosen to permanently freeze out any potential future Israeli participation. Worse, the US radar operations  in Turkey will not share information with Israel. And even worse, United States manned  radar operations within Israel might not provide Israel with interception information. “

He also brought to my attention Martin Indyk: The Objective Mediator? by David Bedein. Bedein shows that Indyk is totally compromised and has been throughout his various roles due to Qatari money.

I forwarded these links to him :
Tiny Qatar casts a giant shadow

EXPOSÉ: Qatar’s takeover of Europe

Obama’s Islamist connection and agenda

The US no doubt is looking at Europe which is getting weaker and is increasingly under the sway of Islamists. The US probably betting on Islamists as an extension of US power over Europe and ultimately over Russia.

I just posted this article published by SNET Daily.Israel overcomes Obama’s embargo, upgrades Apache helicopter fleet

I do not know anything about this source so I approach it with caution. In that article the Editor says:

“This recent story demonstrates the ongoing policy of the Obama regime to transform Israel into a passive punching bag and defensive laboratory for the US military industrial complex, as demonstrated by his recent decision to allocate more funds for the “Iron Dome” interception system (in which the US mega-contractor Raytheon shares a stake), while putting an embargo on offensive systems like the AH64 platform which is crucial to counter guerrilla and  counter terrorism operations in Gaza and Sinai – two key regions currently infested with CIA sponsored Islamic terror groups.
In this case the Israelis have managed to overcome this embargo by upgrading the platform on their own, thereby increasing the prospects of opting out of the trap Obama has set for them in the Southern region. However, effectively neutralizing this threat requires political decisions more then any weapon platform. So far there is no sign of a serious political will in Israel to solve that problem in the same manner the Russians solved the Chechen problem (and are going apparently to solve the Nazi problem in Ukraine and Crimea).”?

Which brings me to the current connection between the US and Iran. We were all shocked when Obama capitulated and lifted sanctions. We shouldn’t have been. One year earlier, Jerry Gordon wrote an article which saw this coming. He referred to it as an “October surprise”.

The US is riding two horses seemingly at odds; the sunni one and the Shiite one. This suggests to me that Syria will be divided as it is now between the sunni controlled areas and the Alawite/shiite controlled areas. Something for everyone. I venture to say that there is more to the Iranian embrace than I am cognizant of.

Bottom line is, Israel is screwed, thanks to America.

Sorry to trouble you with my ruminations. I was hoping that you may have written on the matter or perhaps would undertake to do so.

  1. I would not trust Russia at all with anything vital. OK to do business with them…but looking towards them to replace the strategic partnership with the U.S., even in part, would be insanely dangerous. Putin’s ties to Iran by themselves make this danger obvious, at least to this observer.

India is not so good a bet, either. First, they don’t have a permanent seat on the UNSC, which means they can’t be relied upon to run interference for Israel in the face of the petrodollar prostitute anti-Israel lynch mob otherwise known as the “UN”. And, they have a large Moslem minority that makes it difficult for them to support Israel in broad daylight anyway.

China is the best of the lot of questionable options. They clearly value their relationship with Israel; they recently dumped $130 million into Technion and are building that rail line between Eilat and Ashdod. They are not anti-Semites – the opposite, really – and I can tell you from my regular access to Chinese English-language media that they give Israel a fairer shake than ANY U.S. major media sources. It would not be that hard for Israeli leaders to make the case to China that if they want to profit from their investments in Israel, they have to help make sure Israel will still BE THERE for them to profit from.

But, even with China, there are big risks. Their human rights situation, while glacially improving, still stinks. Does Israel want to be joined at the hip with that? And, while the Chinese do not carry the anti-Semitic baggage of ethnically European-based countries (such as the U.S.), there is also no domestic constituency in China that would push back against the national leadership if they turned on Israel for any reason, nor is there any mechanism for this to happen in China even if there were such a constituency.

China is a rising power. If we keep going down the path we have embarked on with Obama, in ten or twenty years at most, China will be the leading power in the world. This must be reckoned with no matter how close Israel chooses to get with China.

But China has great vulnerabilities. They don’t have either the energy resources nor the food resources the U.S. has within their own borders. This is a big long-term problem they face.

The U.S. is down but not out. We still have great potential if we can change course. A very, very big IF.

At the end of the day, I’d say Yidvocate has it right. The real lesson is that Israel cannot place too much trust in ANY other nation, but rather, we should look to our G-d.

  2. @ Ted Belman:
Jihadi’s are for sure in the Sinai. Some may even come originally via Syria (and or Iraq). The Sunni Jihadi (Al Quida or affiliates) move around the area to fight whatever or whomever.

The CIA is not supporting them. Certainly no evidence of this has been shown.

  3. @ mar55:

China has been doing business with Iran even during the embargo. They were bartering. Now, they are openly having contracts with the Iranian regime. The Chinese are not to be trusted. Russia just signed a contract to build two more nuclear plants for the Iranians. Russians are NOT to be trusted even in the best of circumstances.

    Who then, Micronesia?

Who does Israel always turn to when there is no one to turn to? And then salvation comes!

Haven’t you read the story of Purim or Jewish history in general?

I question this. there have been reports that ISIL is a baathist remnant that is actually a false front in support of assad which might explain the infighting. From the get go I have talked about the GCC understandings and that the ssigns would be what happens when the jihadis mass in syria: if they turn on Israel or if they turn to Lebanon, Iraq and then Iran. we see that they have turned to Lebanon and Iraq but I think they were expecting more suppoort either from the US or Israel the one caution is if we see Saudi rapproche with Iran.
I am still unconvinced by the public drama wrt qatar and the rest of the GCC: so far I see drama but the goals and agenda I beleive remein the same and are still in alignment with the saudis. I beleive that the saudis are reinventing their public image to be non jihadi related; pretending that those they armed and funded with qatar are now their enemy. I dont buy it. Qatar still influences hamas gaza and saudi still control the jihadis. I think it stems from Obama’s need to distance himself from the disclosures at bengazi that the US was supporting jihadis and the same with the Saudis. Public versus private images and dramas. I dont beleive there has bbeen any change in their agendas and interests only the playing out of dramas for public consumption. Since these reinventions bengazi has died down and the fact of US supporting AQ has disappeared. This fact is big because the question must arise that if the US supported the Jihadis in 80’s afghanistan and again now in Syria then how can we be sure that they did not support them in the 90’s and 2000’s? This would put all jihadi attacks on the US under suspicion of false flags. As for the sinai jihdis I think they are linked to Iran and Iran influenced MB. I beleive that the Israeli attacks on gaza in pillar were made in collaboration with Qatar and were designed to target assassinate Iranian elements in Hamas and Gaza, breaking the link for the GCC to take control.

I would appreciate it if some of you would do some googling to see what you can come up with that confirms that the CIA is supporting al Qaeda in Sinai or anywhere else.

    https://www.google.com/search?q=CIA+and+jihadis&oq=CIA+and+jihadis&aqs=chrome..69i57.9993j0j7&sourceid=chrome&espv=2&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8
this gives many links to US and CIA and Jihadis in Syria.
The CIA apparently arranged a big arms purchase for Saudi from Croatia early in the venture.

I have not found a link between CIA and the sinai jihadis, rather the opposite where the US supported Egypt agianst the sinai jihadis. Also, there had been complaints that MOrsi was not doing enough against the sinai jihadis. My suspicion has been that Morsi had links to Iran and that the sinai jihadis are incited and funded by iran and that this Iranian link led to his downfall as a non team player with the US/GCC agenda. I suspect that the operation was to get rid of the independent leadership of the Egyptian MB and to bring the lower rank jihadis firmly under the GCC banner by replacing the leadership or disbanding the org and absorbing the lower ranks into the Sisi supporting Salafis thereby bringing most Jihadis under the GCC influence and command. Morsi was too independent and not towing the team line enthusiastically enough to be above suspicion. there is also the possibility of his collusion in the Bengazi attack with the agenda to trade Stevens for the blind sheik.

Why do you insist on doing business with these regimes who over the years have proved to be untrustworthy? India is a very good possibility. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. India has a large population of educated people who often migrate to the US to fill the jobs that many Americans because our educational system been so politicized that many of our students are incapable of filling the jobs in demand where math and science are required. Remember I did not say all but this is the case for many of our graduating young people.
India would be almost perfect but I think Israel is starting to expand business partnerships with India.
Why are you so enamored with Russia and China?

Klein has a great last name. That is where his reliability ends. He is kind of a shock jock and his projections or stories do not usually check out.

On the contrary, I have found him to be very accurate regarding the Benghazi caper and the US arming and training of Jihadis in collaboration with Saudi,Qatar, Turkey and Jordan. He was way in advance of everyone else and proved correct. Also interesting are his articles preceding the Egyptian coup regarding the possible Morsi and Al Shater links to the Benghazi attack. he has been consistently more reliable than the MSM. I dont listen to his station but just read articles. this is not to say that he is not wrong sometimes but he is better than debka for rate of accuracy. His greatest contribution over the last couple of years has been to disclose the link between the US and Jihadis in collaboration with the GCC. As an alternative source I find his track record to be better than most, but of course not perfect as getting enough accurate info and sifting it from disinfo is the responsibility of the reader.

  9. I have been warning for some time now that Israel and the Jewish nation made a serious error in putting all the Jewish eggs in a single basket jointly labelled “Made in USA” and “A gift of Western Liberal Civilization”/

Cut loose from all that as soon as possible, if not immediately, and begin a national alignment with Russia, China and India. Those three great societies all have something to lose if political and military Islam gains in strength and consolidation, and they alone have the power to counter Islam all across the face of southern Asia, which is precisely where Israel and the Jewish nation shall pass into whatever future we have.

It is not necessary for our purposes that these great nations continually whisper into our Jewish ears how much they love us. We got that from the leadership of the USA, but it was all a pack of lies. This time, we need international friends for whom the Jewish state and nation can provide useful services, and in return, derive solid benefits on behalf of our own national aspirations.

  11. I just posted this article published by SNET Daily.Israel overcomes Obama’s embargo, upgrades Apache helicopter fleet
I do not know anything about this source so I approach it with caution.

I originally posted this news article from the world tribune HERE last week. However, that original article, credited to world tribune, did not include the added commentary and opinion from SNET. The information on the upgrades comes from World Tribune and SNET asserted that the Sinai jihadis are CIA controlled. SNET gave no evidence or support for this assertion. Although it is possible I beleive that the only way they would be US controlled is indirectly through Saudi or Qatar. I believe that events point more to the sinai jihadis being Iranian controlled but may have links to Morsi’s MB. I believe that the deposing of MOrsi and the MB may have been related to Iranian connections as the Saudis funded the deposing. The main problem for Israel is if the GCC patch up their quarrel with Iran and then all the sinai and syrian jihadis will be on location with nothing to do but refocus back on Israel. When Morsi came on he started destroying hamas tunnels and fighting sinai terrorists but there were complaints that he was not enthusiastically fighting the sinai jihadis. Sisi increased the activity but Mubarak did nothing, morsi increased anti hamas and anti sinai attacks over mubarak.
