Israel must clamp down on violence

‘They Beat Me like I was a Drum’

Arab Breaks Chair on Elderly Jew’s Head

Incidents of such attacks are steadily increasing. Many people have been injured by rocks thrown by Arabs, even killed.

Bennett is pushing for a law change that would allow more aggressive defense.

This is a serious matter. The only reason there is order in society is because citizens voluntarily follow the law. The moment they don’t the system breaks down and there is anarchy.

It is imperative that Israel show much less tolerance to violent protestsw, lest the tipping point be reached.

  1. @ Honey Bee:
    Dear Ms. Bee,

I hope you saw yesterday’s posting about the attacks against University of California lecturer Tammi Rossman-Benjamin, and have already come to the aid of a woman who talks big where it counts, confronting all the anti-Israel and anti-Semitic garbage at UC, by sending e-mails to UC President Yudof and the other UC officials listed in the posting (and have urged your friends to do likewise).

  2. I like my 357 magnum, it’s not always easy to conceal.

Packs a nice punch and scares most people.

  3. the elderly

    THE ELDERLY

Everybody likes a little ass,but nobody likes a smart ass!!!!!!!!!!!! Yawl afraid to face me,Darlin.

C’boy say he favors a double barrel over-under automatic shotgun cause it lays a better pattern

  4. The .22 is pretty wimpy, suitable for shooting tin cans or squirrels. The .22 magnum is far more potent. But really, for self defense, you ought to be carrying a 9mm or .40 or perhaps a .45. But if the situation permits, why not an Uzi or a Tavor?

  5. @ Shy Guy:
Pancho Villa carried a 45. To much kick for most women and the elderly. How about an Uzi,light weight,no kick, and you don’t have to aim.

  6. @ Shy Guy:
Actually, the young woman who was guarding our hotel in Jerusalem, was carrying a .22 (I asked her). If fired with accuracy (head shot) it can be very effective. She assured me that she was “… good, very good…” with the pistol, which I was glad to hear. Then there’s the .22 Magnum, which is just a little more effective…
