Polls are for strippers

So said Sarah Palin when asked about unfavourable polls.

Hebrew U survey finds most Israelis and Palestinians support two-state solution

According to the findings, 54% of Israelis and 46% of Palestinians support a permanent- settlement package along the lines of the Clinton parameters proposed on December 23, 2000, which included a divided Jerusalem, a Palestinian state in the entirety of Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip except for several large blocs of settlements, and a demilitarized Palestinian state. These findings represent an increase in Palestinian support, up from 43%, and a decrease in Israeli support, down from 56%, for such a deal compared to that reported by a similar poll in December 2012.

Furthermore, 47% of the Israelis support, and 48% oppose, the dismantling of most of the settlements in the West Bank as part of a peace agreement with the Palestinians. Only 43% of Palestinians, compared to 58% of Israelis, agreed to mutual recognition as part of a permanent-status agreement after all issues in the conflict are resolved and a Palestinian state is established.

This poll includes Israeli Arabs who for the most part support a two state solution. So the poll is skewed in that regard and it is safe to say that a majority of Jewish Israelis oppose it.

One of the reason that so many Israelis support this lunancy is that Israelis are greatly affected by the spin emanating from the government, academia and media. Were the Government to come out against it, the people would support them.

Poll finds some Jordan Valley settlers want to leave

It turns out that this was only an alleged poll. It didn’t exist. It was just leftist propaganda.

  1. The problem is not the Arabs.

As Evelyn Gordon pointed out and which I addressed in the previous thread, the problem lies with the Jews.

They seem incapable of deciding what they are for and why Israel exists. I haven’t heard an Israeli leader talk about Zionism and Jewish national rights in a long time.

The world has bought into the Arab propaganda line the Jews are occupiers who took away someone else’s land. To that Israeli leaders don’t have an answer except to mumble about “security” and “painful sacrifices.” Knowing full well the Arabs will never accept the right of a Jewish State of ANY size to exist in the Middle East.

This has brought us to where we are today and no amount of Jewish national humiliation, degradation, restraint, niceness and goodwill will propitiate the Arab hatred of the Jews. Its exactly why “the peace agreement every one knows” in reality doesn’t exist and there is zero chance of realizing it in the foreseeable future.
