So, who’s inciting violence?

By Ted Belman

Rabbi Volpe exploded. So did everyone else.

Nissan R. Katz, editor of INN, commented in Knesset Members and OU Condemn Rabbi Wolpe’s ‘Gallows’ Remark

Rabbi Wolpe called Olmert a traitor, accusing him and others of aiding the the modern-day “Nazis” in the Palestinian Authority by giving them weapons and releasing terrorist killers from prison. According to Israeli law, the rabbi elaborated, Olmert, Vice Premier Chaim Ramon, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, and others should be “hanged upon the gallows” for collaborating with and aiding “Nazi” terrorists.

“This gathering is intended to make it clear to the public that we are facing a serious danger due to the government’s actions,” said Rabbi Wolpe on Tuesday. “We have a government that collaborates with the enemy, the Palestinian enemy that wants to destroy Israel. The government of Israel is supplying them with money and weapons, releasing murderers…. We came to warn and discuss how we can prevent this, G-d forbid, holocaust that the government is bringing on us.”

Rabbi Wolpe also said that his organization will be calling for IDF soldiers to refuse orders to remove Jews from their homes anywhere in the Land of Israel, if such orders are issued. Also addressing the emergency conference, called in response to US President George W. Bush’s upcoming visit to the region, was MK Aryeh Eldad (National Union).

Katz goes on to report the outrage in response to such remarks and the Rabbis explanation

“In calling for the execution of state leaders by legal means, he was not calling for vigilante violence, he explained, but rather calling on the police to implement the law.

I remember when Rabin was assassinated, the Left accused the right of incitement to violence which led to the assassination, I thought at the time time that Labour Government contributed to the incitement by attempting to push through policies involving far reaching consequences with a 51% majority. I thought it had a duty in such circumstances to amend its policies to achieve a greater national consensus.

Similarly today. The Kadimah Government is try to impose policies that are greatly opposed by the majority of Israelis. If that is not provocation , what is? So who is inciting the violence?

Here is a short list of of provocations;

    A. REMOVING 8,000 JEWS FROM THEIR HOMES, ONE OF THE ACTIVE ARCHITECTS WAS E.H., TRAUMATIC FOR ALL FAMILIES AND STILL AFTER 2 YEARS LITTLE RELIEF.

    B. COMING TO AMONA WITH BRUTE FORCE AND BEATING MERCILESSLY YOUNG AND OLD IN LIVING COLOR FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD TO SEE. WITH AN INVESTIGATION STILL PENDING IN MAZUZ’S OFFICE

    C. FORCING A MILLION JEWS TO FLEE THEIR HOMES IN THE NORTH OF ISRAEL DURING THE LEBANON WAR AND NOT ONLY NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY AFTER THE WINO GRAD COMMISSION DECLARED FAILURES DIRECTLY FROM THE PM OFFICE BUT THE PM ANNOUNCING HE WON’T RESIGN REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE GOVT. COMMISSION SAYS.

    D. RELEASING HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF TERRORISTS FROM JAIL AFTER IT HAS BEEN PROVEN BY VICTIM OF TERROR ORGANIZATIONS THAT TERRORISTS ARE UNREPENTANT AND ONLY COME BACK TO KILL JEWS AGAIN AND AGAIN.

    E. ALLOWING THE JEWS OF SDEROT TO DEAL WITH DEADLY KASSAM ROCKETS DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY. NOT RESPONDING MILITARILY IS BAD ENOUGH BUT TO DECLARE THAT NOTHING CAN BE DONE IS A DEPARTURE FROM THE NORMS OF HUMAN BEHAVIOR. JEWS OF SDEROT ARE FORCED TO GO TO COURT TO PROTECT THEIR HOMES AND SCHOOLS AND THE GOVERNMENT LAWYERS ARE INSTRUCTED TO DEFEND A POSITION THAT IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO GIVE PROTECTION.

    F. ALLOWING THE WAQF TO DESECRATE THE TEMPLE MOUNT, JUDAISM’S MOST HOLY SITE.
JEWISH POLICE STANDING GUARD SO THAT JEWS MAY NOT PRAY. GIVING LICENSE TO HAMAS MURDERS TO BROADCAST RADIO TRANSMISSIONS FROM THE TEMPLE MOUNT.

The Kadimah government must take responsibility for pushing many Israelis to the limit.

  1. The real decision maker in the mideast is the U.S.- America deems the excessive deaths of Palestinian civilians as furthering the cause of Al Qaeda. Israel remains very constrained in its actions in Gaza because of this fact. All Israeli leaders both present and aspiring are very well aware of this reality. After 9/11, international terrorism rather than the Israel-Palestinian dispute is the U.S.’s main concern. That is why America is negotiating a behind the scene truce. And when America will eventually order a truce Israel will comply.
