‘Secret talks with Iran led Obama to shelve strike on Syria’

Israeli officials denounce Obama for giving Iran right to enrich, destroying sanctions
Entire sanctions regime ‘will collapse within months,’ unnamed sources tell Israeli TV; US has shown it has ‘no red lines’ on Tehran

Unnamed Israeli officials denounced US President Barack Obama on Friday night for presiding over failed negotiations with Iran under which they said the sanctions pressure on Tehran is collapsing and the Islamic Republic has been granted the right to enrich uranium. The entire wall of sanctions, painstakingly constructed over years, is already crumbling and “will collapse within months,” the officials were quoted as saying.

In comments reported by Israel’s Channel 2 news and attributed to unnamed senior Israeli officials and official sources in Jerusalem, Obama was castigated for ostensibly showing he “will do anything to avoid a situation in which he will have to resort to force” against Iran.

Under Obama’s supervision, the unnamed officials said, the Geneva talks had produced a failed interim deal under which Iran has been granted the right to enrich uranium, and years of international sanctions pressure on Iran is now melting away.

  1. Prince Bandar attends anti-Iran meeting in Israel
According to Lebanese al-Hadath new website, the meeting was held in Tel Aviv last week, attended by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, French President Francois Hollande and Saudi spy chief…….The three also stressed the need for strengthening Saudi Arabia’s defense system, promoting intelligence cooperation with the kingdom, and planning military maneuvers in Jordan.

    HUH??????? (PressTV???)

  2. Pakistan’s new army chief: Nuclear ties with Saudis, US exit from Afghanistan, Riyadh’s anti-Iran drive
Taking shape therefore is the first tectonic strategic-political-military movement set off in a key world region by the six-power first-step nuclear deal with Iran.
It finds Beijing pulling away from its alliance with Tehran and aligning more firmly with Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to counteract rising US-Iranian influence in Kabul. India is stepping into Chinese shoes in Tehran, cheered on by Washington, and distancing itself from Israel, its foremost supplier of advanced weapons. Indian-Israeli military and intelligence ties have been receding in the last two years.
The change of military chiefs in Islamabad is also relevant to the covert war waged by Saudi intelligence against the Iranian regime in recent weeks. The Saudis are using Pakistani Baluchistan as their base for subversive operations against the central regime in Tehran. According to Iran and some Western clandestine agencies, Israeli intelligence is assisting this Saudi-Baluchi campaign.

  3. Mexican drug cartels now make money exporting ore to China
This month, federal officials confirmed the cartels have even entered the country’s lucrative mining industry, exporting iron ore to Chinese mills.

Although appearing unrelated i beleive that China’s unquenchable thirst for resources will skyrocket as they shift from export driven to adding consumer driven, supplying their 1,5 billion with consumer goods. Oil and energy are part of that thirst and it is likely that China is a bigger player in the ME than publicised.
Another interesting thought is that it might be that China has a direct relationship with the narco gangs in getting their resources; a relationship which hezbullah also already has. Iran has its hezbullah global gang network, the GCC has their sunni jihadi global gang network: are the Chinese developing similar relations using the same model?

  4. @ yamit82:

A senior White House official criticized Israel’s stance on the Iran nuclear talks on Wednesday, claiming its hard-line position would lead to war.

Total bullshit. Weakness and appeasement leads to war. Peace comes through strength.

It is clear that the White House is trying to turn Americans against Israel by repeatedly warning that their stance will lead to war. Then when war inevitably happens, which will really be because of Obama’s appeasement policy, it will be perceived as Israel’s fault.

  5. Obama is clearly withdrawing from the middle east as a power. Look at the following actions:

    1. Iraq complete withdrawal
    2. Egypt downgraded relationship
    3. Afghanistan withdrawal will be completed in 2014
    4. Lebanon and Syria abandoned to fight between Shia and Sunni forces
    5. Iran deal about withdrawing not getting entangled militarily with a deal that allows Iran to continue enriching and become a nuclear power as soon as they master a nuclear trigger which will be known only when they explode their first nuke.
    6. Israel will be supplied weapons as Israel will be left to its own devices. Pressure of some level will applied to Israel to make concessions to the PA but may not be strong from the US as Obama deals with domestic issues.
    7. US’s Sunni friends in Gulf and Jordan are basically ignored by USA except for the selling of weapons just like Israel.

  6. PATHETIC indeed. And extremely dangerous. Netanyahu intentionally let Iran advance into being a nuclear power. And now is going to the Vatican to? Deliver Kever King David and Har Habait? I am convinced he will do so even if the final delivery will take place in a gradual fashion.

  7. @ Shy Guy:

Great!!!! Let him go to Iran.

Perfect time for Israel to Bomb Iran not with IAF but with Jericho’s and drones. Nobody would expect an attack when Obama is in Iran. Would put the tactical advantage back to us. I’ll bet the Saudis and the Russians would not be unhappy as oil prices could hit 300-500 $$$$ a barrel.

Maybe they (the Iranians) will Kill Obama as a result. “Reversal of Fortunes” 🙁

  8. American deals and FP really encouraging…..

Whatever North Korea has also belongs to Iran.

    North Korea ‘Restarting Its Reactor’
North Korea destroyed the cooling tower at Yongbyon in 2008 as a confidence-building measure.

In a recent poll only 19% of Americans said they were following the Iranian deal and I bet the % following North Korea is close to Zero. Obamacare is the only item of interest especially on Fox…. 🙂

How stupid can BB Be? Seems limitless. Rouhani Gloats: Israel is Isolated
Iranian president says deal with the west has isolated ‘our enemies,’ in apparent reference to Israel.

Netanyahu: Iran is the Darkness, We’re the Light
PM Netanyahu says Iran is “the greatest darkness” threatening the world, promises Israel will be the “light to the nations”.

BB lost, Obama won and now he is babbling like an idiot. P A T H E T I C

  9. Wonder if Obama is not behind this?
Iran envoy: Tehran, Ankara have ‘close’ intel ties

Iranian Ambassador to Turkey Alireza Bikdeli tells reporters that intelligence services are working in “close collaboration”.

Iran has been a staunch ally of Syrian President Bashar Assad since the start of the almost three-year uprising against him, while Turkey has been one of his fiercest critics, supporting the opposition and giving refuge to rebel fighters.

Hurriyet also cited the Iranian envoy Turkey as saying his country was set to boost economic ties with Turkey as the West eases some of its economic sanction on the Islamic Republic as part of an interim deal reached in Geneva last weekend.
