A survey by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs demonstrates the resistance of a vast majority of Israelis to Palestinian statehood, the division of Jerusalem and giving up the Jordan Valley, Israel Hayom reports Sunday.

The newspaper reported that in response to the question of whether the spread of Islamic State (ISIS) in Syria and Iraq altered one’s position on Israeli concessions of land in Judea and Samaria, 70.1 percent answered that this phenomenon did not change their opinions.

16.8 percent of respondents said that because of ISIS, they are now less willing to concede land than before. In contrast, 4.8 percent of respondents answered that because of regional changes, now is especially the time to offer political concessions.

As to the question of supporting or opposing the establishment of a Palestinian state within the pre-1967 borders, 74.3 percent answered that they oppose the establishment of such a state, while 18.2 percent said they support it. 7.5 percent of those surveyed did not respond.

Regarding the possibility of an Israeli withdrawal from the Jordan Valley, 74.9 percent said they oppose the establishment of a Palestinian state which requires Israeli withdrawal from the Jordan Valley. 11.5 percent support such a withdrawal and 13.7 percent chose not to answer this question.

The newspaper also reported on the controversial issue of the division of Jerusalem. If such a division were to occur, part of the city would serve as the capital for the State of Israel, with the other part representing the capital for a potential future Palestinian state.

76.2 percent of respondents oppose the division of Jerusalem. 16.2 percent support the division of Jerusalem and 7.5 percent did not answer.

The survey was conducted by the research institute Shavakim Panorama, under the direction of Yossef Vadana. The survey questioned a representative sample of 505 residents of Israel, not including Israeli Arabs.

Way off topic for a change but you might find this interesting

The Talmud’s Mysticism Is Too Mindblowing Even for Its Students</a

In Chagiga 14b, we read one of the most famous anecdotes in the whole Talmud, the one about the four sages who “entered the orchard”—that is, delved into supernatural mysteries—and what happened to them. Ben Azzai “glimpsed” God and immediately died; Ben Zoma glimpsed God and lost his mind; Elisha ben Avuya “chopped down the shoots,” meaning that he became an apostate. (His name is never mentioned in the Talmud, where he is referred to only as Acher, “the other.”) Only “Rabbi Akiva came out safely,” able to live with the divine knowledge he had gained. Clearly, the odds are stacked against the Jewish mystic. But in a tradition built around the pursuit of knowledge, it’s no wonder that so many generations of Jews refused to remain content with ignorance and made their ways, in fear and trembling, into the orchard.

Tread carefully, the rabbis warn, when seeking to understand creation or envision God

If you have a moment and desire to be hurt by the ghastly reality here, please read the three items sent by Yamit, who is the best source of facts we have.
As to the Platform. It is a detailed Plan for the demolition of the combina and reconstruction of a new system of government. In 2003 a group of planted operatives still pretending to be part of the Jewish camp, hijacked the ideas therein and then destroyed the effort. Not knowing that they are operatives from the other side we sent to them invitations to the Congress and copies of the Platform.
Presently the Platform, edited to today’s needs, will be sent to people that can lead the process.

Politics everywhere is a cash cow for those in power and those close to the centers of power.

Israel still owns and operates large industrial and commercial concerns and there is a lot of Pork (Spoils to divide to friends and supporters) Everyone washes each others hands. The public is generally aware but all wish it were themselves and all have friends and relatives feeding from the trough.

is this a political party platform?

I do not for a moment doubt that such specimens send our children to their death not to defend and win but to pretend to fight while secretly conniving with the enemy.

I have speculated this from afar, and do not like to think of this, but it is depressing to hear this from you who was a Likud member and I believe a member of the CC.

  5. @ yamit82:
Yes. We knew and know how deep the putrid setting reaches. The huge concrete wall may one day come handy as our type of “el paredon”.

  6. I do not accept that the actions of the unJewish “elites” are consequence of schizophrenia but rather are consequence of a willing decision to allying themselves with their declared “partners” with whom they have much more in common than they have with true Jews.
All Peresites were seen physically holding hands with Arafat and assaulting Jews. Precisely the same is still the case today.
I argue in favor of a genetic flaw adding to the unJewish cauldron.
I do not for a moment doubt that such specimens send our children to their death not to defend and win but to pretend to fight while secretly conniving with the enemy.

Political decision and not an ethical one. I see no reason why we Israelis should not only treat our enemies in our medical facilities but we pay the bill as well.

Do you have any idea how many people around the world would give anything to be treated in our facilities by our doctors?

I wonder how many Israelis were pushed down the waiting lists
so we can treat for free our enemies? On the other hand we give them weapons, water, food, electricity telecommunication services and medical care. We allow them to use our currency and have access to our ports.

You are correct. Since Oslo Israel is schizophrenic we can’t decide if they are enemies or potential peace partners.

  8. Israeli Hospital Confirms: We Treated Hamas Chief Haniyeh’s Daughter

No sane nation at war would do this, which has been going on before and after the war. Therefore, Israel is either insane or not at war. Perhaps, these wars are fake dramas and the elite leaders of the sides get along and make deals while pretending to quarrel. In such scenarios the gap is more between the elite and their own citizens than between each other. Their citizens become expendable. I would find it difficult to send my son to an army of a nation doing this.

  9. @ yamit82:
I find this strange: I would think a muslim jihadi in Israel would stay there, join a local jihad group and commit a martyrdom act in Israel…I am curious as to the perspective of Jihadis in israel as to why they go afar to do their calling.
This guy is extra strange, being a doctor and a bedouin.

The well financed and trained sleepers vociferously express views exactly shown in the Poll. As soon as that trash take office. Poof the magic dragon spins them into the “PC” position.

I still find it odd that such a high majority appears to have no political expression or power. Surely there must be more than a couple of names in office who demand the same as the 75%? Are you saying that only deceptive liars are capable of seeking and achieving office in Israel? That there is no one in the 75% who would upon reaching office would continue to work for the goals sought by this overwhelming majority? Does anyone in the religious sector belong to this 75%? It is astounding to think that such a high percentage of agreement cannot be translated into reality politically. The poll questions are quite clear unlike the platforms of the politicians in office who lead. Why dont all those who agree on these poll questions combine on those issues and clearly state their goals as per the polls? this cannnot be blamed alone on a combina, it appears that the voters are more to blame AND the citizenry who cannot put forward anyone, or a group, who specifically reflect the goals of those polls

  11. @ bernard ross:
The system, (Israeli old MAPAM-MAPAI combina), works this way here. The well financed and trained sleepers vociferously express views exactly shown in the Poll. As soon as that trash take office. Poof the magic dragon spins them into the “PC” position.
Over the years our group identified that without completely taking down the combina, here and overseas as well, nothing can be done to correct course.
Details in our Platform in place since 2003.
If we, the Jews are stupid enough to keep the putrid combo in place, we have only ourselves to blame for the disasters.
    Nothing unclear Bernard.

  12. If this is a credible poll then this is excellent news, but one must wonder why such an overwhelming majority expressing specific viewpoints are NOWHERE REPRESENTED IN THE GOI! who represents this apparently silent and powerless majority without representation???

  13. Moments ago I read on Arutz #7 that the IDF syas that the siren warnings this morning in the near Gaza area were false alarms. Now an officer, a member of the Home Front Command says that it was a real attack but that the IDF and the GoI are covering up.
We, the people. must have a credible government. Is anyone competent willing to check into that?

  14. This poll confirms what obviously has been the sentiments of an overwhelming large majority of Jewish Israelis for a longtime now! Only the far left of Jewish Israelis feel different and this poll reflects their political demise.

  15. I can hear the unJews running about fabricating counter polls. The Likud include the same cross section of the population polled. Obviously Mr. H who wrote about don Netanyahu being in control… wrote BS. It is wide open and I would advice him to start looking elsewhere.
