Warning of Challenges To Israel’s Borders

JanSuzanne Krasner, AMERICAN THINKER

The Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center has issued warnings regarding “anti-Israel networks, organizations, and activists from the Middle East and around the globe who, in the very near future, intend to orchestrate ‘propaganda events’ challenging Israel’s borders.

These various groups are planning massive Islamic marches, caravans of people, into Jerusalem as early as November 25, 2011. In March 2012, Islamic gatherings, armies of people, are being called upon to breach the Israeli-Jordanian borders. There will be ‘flotilla after flotilla’ that will quietly sail into international waters to challenge Israel’s sea blockade to the Gaza Strip, and a “fly-in” protest to Ben-Gurion International Airport planned for April 2012.”

The following is the Meir Amit’s initial report of the main events planned against Israel in the near future:

1) An Islamic display called the “Million Man Worldwide Caravan” to be held near the Israeli-Jordanian border is planned for November 25, 2011: The participants will gather in the Jordanian valley north of the Dead Sea. They are liable to try to march to the Israeli border, even though in such a case the Jordanian security forces may halt them. Their main stated goal is to emphasize the Islamic nature of Jerusalem. In addition, towards the end of November, close to the 29th (the day the UN voted in favor of the Partition Plan), there may be rallies, demonstrations and other events in various locations in the Middle East and around the globe.

2) Sending isolated vessels to the Gaza Strip (no specific date known as yet): Applying the lessons learned from the failure of the July 2011 flotilla to reach the Gaza Strip, the flotilla organizers have announced that they plan to use a new strategy of sending isolated vessels from various ports instead of large flotillas with extensive media coverage, like the two vessels which set sail on November 2 and approached the Gaza Strip on November 4. Their objective is to exhaust Israel and exert continuous media and operative pressure. In addition, convoys routinely enter the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing after coordinating with the Egyptian authorities.

3) In April 2012 protest fly-in of pro-Palestinian activists is scheduled to arrive at Ben-Gurion Airport, who will proceed to the Palestinian Authority territories: The objective of the fly-in, according to its website, is to “again challenge the Israeli policy of isolating the West Bank.” The activists will reenact their (unsuccessful) July 2011 arrival by air. It can be assumed that this time the organizers will attempt to bring a larger number of activists and will apply the lessons learned from the previous fly-in in an attempt to overcome the preventive steps taken by Israel, other countries and international airlines.

4) Plans made by various anti-Israeli networks around the globe whose objective is to breach the borders of the State of Israel in March 2012 to reach Jerusalem: Anti-Israeli activists plan to arrive in the Arab states bordering on Israel in convoys from countries in Asia, North Africa and Europe. Such events can take place only if the governments of the relevant Arab countries agree, which at this stage are not entirely certain.

  1. Sternlight; If you were offended by any of my language why don’t you point out what you find offensive. You sentence fragment response about” growing in decibels” (I don’t really speak German) makes no sense. Maybe you are correct in implying I could have stated my feelings about the Israeli left without using terms such as ” The poison dwarf”. I’m sure a person of your extremely high intelligence and education is very familiar with Lincoln’s ” A house divided against itself cannot stand (or survive)” which was really my point. The traitors (which I don’t consider inappropriate) were willing to give the trespassing mafia-like, Nazi-like gangs of Fakestinians a permanent base to finish off the small portion of the Jewish national homeland Jewish retain sovereignty of. 630,000 Americans had to die to achieve true national unity. I maybe wrong but sometimes the blood of one’s countrymen must be spilled to achieve nationhood or in this case to withstand the attempt at a third holocaust

  2. It isn’t necessary to use provocative language. “Wachsen wie a tzibele….” is sufficient. Those who can understand will understand; others can’t/won’t help anyway.

  3. Israel should rid itself of the traitorous left wing Jews who give aid and comfort to the Sand Nazis (Fakestinians) and international Nazism which are responsible for these campaigns. It isn’t inconsistent with democracy to arrange Livni to have an accident and have the poison dwarf Barak leave the world. They only undermine the state of Israel. The US fought a Civil War and Israel doesn’t need a Civil War to neuter the detestable left wing. Imprison the publisher of Hareetz on phony charges and make other traitors such as academics who travel the world to meetings of David Duke like Norman Finkelstein, disappear. Change the composition of the Supreme Court who always side with the Arabs. I would also love to see Peres spend rest of his life behind bars for the decades of selling out Israel. Livni especially is such a detestable traitor who always uses “free speech” to stop any attempt to limit her traitorous activities. She is truly a monster. The US lost 630,000 soldiers from both sides as the price of true unity. Arranging for a few monsters such as Livni to not be able to assist the Sand Nazis , is not nearly as drastic and is sometimes required in democracies. Democracy doesn’t mean committing suicide which is the goal of the Israeli left wing.

  4. Another opportunity to end Jewish cowardice in the face of global hatred.
Israel should announce that any attempt such as this means cutting off Gaza from water, food and electricity. Any invaders will be captured and imprisoned under harsh conditions. The world must see an Israel that can hit back promptly or else Israel will be eaten alive.
Israel fears the world and that is getting it backward. The world fears Iran but Israel should make it clear that if provoked Israel can inflict ten thousand times the damage that Iran can do.

  5. There will be ‘flotilla after flotilla’ that will quietly sail into international waters to challenge Israel’s sea blockade to the Gaza Strip, and a “fly-in” protest to Ben-Gurion International Airport planned for April 2012.

They should have a “flotilla competition”, to match the float competition in the Rose Bowl Parade. I notice that they’re planning activities in November and March, leaving the winter months free to accomodate press coverage of Christmas and of championship sporting events in the US. No sense making a big show, when nobody’s watching you.

May Hashem rain on their parade. Amen.
