You probably haven’t heard much about the Holy Land Foundation trial in which CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator. That’s because the MSM is hardly covering it.

US Justice Dept to Co-Sponsor Convention of ISNA – Unindicted Co-Conspirator in HLF Trial
The Washington Times reports today that the Justice Department (DOJ) is co-sponsoring a convention held by the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) in Chicago. U.S. Congressman Keith Ellison will also be the keynote speaker at this conference on September 1.
ISNA is an unindicted co-conspirator in the trial against the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF).
According to the Washington Times, DOJ’s acting deputy chief of the Voting Rights Division Mrs. Lorenzo-Giguere sent an email stating that the DOJ would be sending government lawyers to man a booth at the ISNA convention as an opportunity to reach a “very much discriminated against” group. The Washington Times also reports that DOJ spokesman Erik Ablin confirmed that DOJ participates in the annual convention. CONTINUE
ISNA draws about 30,000 American Muslims each year to its annual convention according to the Washington Times article.
If the line up of keynote speakers to this ISNA convention as reported by Emerson are typical of the kinds of speakers ISNA promotes at its conventions, then it would be fair to conclude that ISNA is promoting noted Muslim speakers who have expressed views in keeping with some radical Islamic thinking.
Given that, I wonder whether anyone has bothered to ask whether it is this annual ISNA offering of such speakers that is helping to draw about 30,000 American Muslims per year to the ISNA convention?
That the rank and file within the Department of Justice are outraged by this Department of Justice initiative to co-sponsor the ISNA convention while the DOJ is prosecuting a case where the ISNA is an unindicted co-conspirator suggests that the rank and file of the DOJ have their heads screwed on straight. It however also suggests that the DOJ management responsible for this decision to co-sponsor the ISNA convention, that can fairly be described as having their heads bent out of shape and probably have their bent out of shape heads up their asses.
The main stream media shout the loudest about their raison d’etre being bound up in the phrase, “the people’s right to know”.
That the MSM has failed to report on the almost daily revelations, and sensational ones at that coming out of the Holy Land Foundation Trial, speaks either of the MSM’s betrayal of the principle foundation upon which it claims to exist or the MSM has established a new unwritten law unto itself that the MSM has the sole right to determine what the people are by right entitled to know and what MSM is justified to hide from the very people it claims to serve.
Steve Emerson by regularly reporting on the trial regarding the Holy Land Foundation at his website is performing a valuable service.
People need to demand of the MSM however that they must fulfill their obligation to the people by reporting the news that people do need to hear instead of hiding that news in derogation of their duty to the people.
