YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS UP.

Is Israel planning to lose the next war?

You can’t make this stuff up.

The London-based Arabic daily al-Hayat is reporting this morning that Prime Minister Ehud K. Olmert and ‘moderate’ ‘Palestinian’ President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen are holding ‘secret’ talks on the big three ‘final status’ issues: borders, Jerusalem and ‘refugees.’

The newspaper also reported that the two discussed the issue during their recent meeting in Jerusalem and decided that there was a need for deep discussions on the more “burning issues.”

The source reportedly said that the talks were focusing on the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, the Palestinian refugee issue, West Bank settlements and the future of Jerusalem.

“There were talks on these issues but as yet there has been no breakthrough on any of them,” the source was quoted as saying.

However, the Prime Minister’s Office was unaware of the report, a PMO spokeswoman told The Jerusalem Post.

  1. In this would you can make anything up and no matter what is made up 30% of the world will automatically believe it. Was Rabin a traitor? It all depends upon who you ask. Remember many on the right voted for Rabin because they believed him when he said that Israel would never recognize Arafat and would never relinquish the Golan, not to mention Jerusalem. He was viewed as the Hero of Six Day War and would be tough on Pali Terrorists. Oslo for those who believed in and respected Rabin did feel betrayed. From Peres they expected such a double cross but not Rabin. The only thing Rabin and Peres had in common was that they belonged to the same political party and they really hated ea. other but then everybody hates Peres but most won`t say it aloud.

Rabin built the foundations of Yamit (DAYANS IDEA) as a sort of PETEMKIN VILLAGE, as a signal to the Egyptians and the Arabs that the longer they wait and Hold out from making peace; Israel will create irrevocable facts on the ground. The Same might be said of Peres who fathered the first settlements in WB and Gaza. I must here point out with all of Oslo The Left never abandoned living Jewish settlements but only the Israeli right has. At least those who pretended to be on the right like BB and Sharon, and of course Begin who was the worst of all of them. Was then Begin a traitor? It depends on who you ask! was he a CONSPIRATOR? Hardly , just a big mouth demagogue. Was BB a conspirator? Don`t think so just a weak character posing as a strong leader. Sharon A traitor? You bet! Peres a traitor of course! Rabin was the tragic figure as he wasn`t a very bright guy and was always full of himself even if he had a nervous breakdown on the eve of 6 day war! Because of the results nobody held it against him except Ezer Weitzman who changed political views as easily as he changed his suits. Was Weitzman a traitor ? no doubt that he was. He was paid handsomely by financial backers for his part in pushing Camp David deal and had to resign his presidency when some of his duplicity came to light. Olmert is a slick shiester who always used the powerful in and out of politics to advance himself upwards. Except for politics here is a guy who never worked a day in his life. A multi millionaire all on political salaries of no more than 10-15 thousand dollars a month and in many years much less. Now anyone who can live his lifestyle on 5 to 7500 dollars net a month and at age 60 have millions? It is surprising that nobody really investigates these guys? Is Olmert a traitor or juist a successful political wheeler dealer political opportunist and crook? He could be all of them and lets just say that whether he is a traitor will be determined soon enough.

America to the best of my knowledge almost never succeeded in reading correctly international situations nor have they been overly successful in manipulating international affairs. In most cases they have always misread and failed to get results they were seeking.

When I was in Korea in 1960 serving Uncle Sam, I was there 3 months when there was a military coup and the then President of S. Korea Singman Rhee was deposed and The Brilliant American Government came out in Support of The already gone and on his way to Honolulu the Honorable Mr. Rhee. We grunts were then put in the middle between the S.korean army and the N. Koreans. But America supported the wrong side who were gone? This same American government by sheer stupidity put us all at extreme risk.
My point is the most of these guys here and in America are mostly too stupid to pull off such conspiracies. They are for the most part tiny minded political hacks some on the take some not; some understand international threats and conflicts most don`t have a clue. Most are concerned mostly with keeping their current jobs for as long as possible, .

In so far as Americas hold on Israel, we are a partner in this Faustian relationship. Our lemmings like leaders like going to Washington, the UN, shopping tours with the wives all with lots of body guards , Private Jets etc. a few times a year they all get to feel very , very important.

some Quotes: Power corrupts but absolute power corrupts absolutely .

Men make plans(conspiracies) and GOD LAUGHS.

THE GOD OF ISRAEL NEITHER SLUMBERS NOR SLEEPS

    EVERY DOG HAS THEIR DAY

    WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND

What happens If Newt Gingrich wins the next elections over Al Gore? How would that fit into conspiracy theories? He would be too smart, experienced and too ethical (within reason) to be manipulated by not only the NYT and friends but neither by the Saudis or the Dubians! I would find it hard to believe that money can corrupt him but I have been wrong before. I once believed in BB and Begin but never never Sharon. I rejoiced when Rabin got his just deserts although some like Barry Chamish believe it was Peres (A FREE MASON)was behind the murder. Some hypothesized That Rabin himself planned a fake assassination that went wrong.

Look what has happened to every Israeli leader who had a hand in giving up parts of the LAND OF ISRAEL!
Begin, Rabin, Peres,BB, Barak, Sharon,Ramon,Katsav, Weitzman, Dayan and The IDF Chief Rabbi who supported Evacuation of Gush Katif. Its a long list not all is known to the public and not all that will happen has yet to enfold but they all in some manner have been removed from centers of power, positions of influence. political and personal disgrace, jail, and death and in the case of Sharon in TRA LA LAND! The Lebanon fiasco which I believe will eventually remove Olmert before he can do irrevocable damage. He will be removed but the play must be played out first.

  2. US Signs Appeasement Deal With Arab States and this proves that Bush has sold Israel out to the highest bidders.

Israel has no choice but to go along with it. No wonder Olmert agreed to the right of return for the Arabs, he agreed to give them money and weapons, and to de-Judaise Israel.

What next? Will he convert to Islam and because the mullah in chief?

  3. That both Bush and Olmert feel time is limited to gain some kind of a peace deal which they probably see as their way to redemption and recovering the support they have lost which loss is probably felt as a personal embarrassment, there can be little doubt.

Olmert in spite of freeing a token number of Palestinian terrorists, releasing over half the custom taxes collected and held by Israel in trust for the Palestinians and facilitating the arming of Fatah in the West Bank is showing clear signs that his willingness to talk about peace is not nearly matched by his willingness to act towards peace, which act means cutting a final or near final deal with Abbas.

Though Palestinians have it was reported eliminated the phrase armed resistance to the Israeli occupation, they have kept the phrase resistance to Israeli occupation in their charter. In practical terms it is likely that is a distinction without a difference.

Though Abbas struts around like he is in charge, any such declaration rings hollow in light of the admission by one of the Palestinian higher ups that Hamas had infiltrated all Fatah governmental and military departments.

Olmert knows that Abbas has no real authority to make any deals without first pushing Hamas to the sidelines and asserting real authority over all Palestinians. With the arming of Fatah, it appears that Fatah is readying for some kind of confrontation with Hamas, which may begin with Abbas seeking to identify and purging Hamas infiltrators from his government and the Palestinian militia. If he makes that move in an armed confrontation, he risks igniting a civil war that could well go out of control. I expect both Fatah and Hamas realize that an out of control civil war does both of their factions far more harm then good.

It comes down to the fact that the Palestinians have only a bare bones state infrastructure if that and a destabilized society led by a leader with a tenuous hold on power, if that. It will take more than 18 months for the Palestinians to be ready, willing and able to erect their own independent state, which if they could, would immediately become a welfare state dependent on the welfare of other nations to allow it to live.

It has been said that Olmert is America’s puppet. Perhaps that is the case and the only thing Olmert can do to resist being manipulated to the point of moving Israel to the brink of disaster is to dance to the American tune, but ensure that the dance that does not end will continue to go nowhere fast.

  4. I have a different opinion that either of you.

The Olmert government is anxious to cut a deal before they are put out of office, be it in a month or a year.
They see this as an opportunity to end the “occupation”. Since they believe they can cut a deal if you genuflect enough, they aren’t worried about the arms build up in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria. Thus they have pulled out all stops.

As long as they end the ‘occupation” and get recognized borders they are happy.

But I don’t see how they can effect such a deal. Obviously they can’t move between 200,000 and 400,000 Jews out. I have no idea how they are going to handle that. I expect the settlers to get violent if such a deal is struck. It is possible that they only move 70,000 settlers and give Israeli land in exchange for what is kept.

I don’t think that Olmert will keep 10% as he wants nor that the Arabs will accept less that 100%

  5. Actually you can make all this up and that is exactly what Emanuel A. Winston has done in stating the conclusion he came to and just about taken in Israel Matzav hook, line and sinker.

Yes, there are quite a number of observations based on fact, but they have been editorialized, spun or blurred with Winston’s opinion to reach his conclusion.

To accept what Winston is saying and how he got there is to further conclude that Olmert, Livni, Peres, Barak, and former Defence Minister Perez as well as former leaders such as Rabin are all conspiratorial traitors, all possessed of sheer genius and who have very slowly, carefully and skillfully constructed a Machiavellian plot to not only lose the next Israeli war, but presumably have been putting their plot into action and into place for a great many years to lose Israeli wars, lose Israeli bargaining and political position and lose Israel at the rate of one plot of ground at a time.

It has been said and written a number of times, by credible people in the know that Israeli leaders have always been forced to surrender their principles, beliefs and grand vision for Israel to American interests which America very forcefully has pressured one Israeli government after another to bend to.

On July 28th, 2007 Israpundit posted an article by Ami Isseroff that speaks convincingly of how American pressure to advance American interests in the Muslim Middle East is at the heart of Israeli decisions that cater to American interests far more then serving Israel’s best interests. That article is at the following link:

    http://www.mideastweb.org/log/archives/00000609.htm

One can fairly condemn Israeli leadership, past and present of many things, but in the absence of hard smoking gun or tape recorded evidence, treason is not one of them. Anyone who does without such evidence only undermines their own credibility.
