Gen Jack Keane: They BLEW THIS UP…
Peloni: Will Iran be defeated by economic war alone, or will it require a kinetic component to defeat the regime?
Peloni: Will Iran be defeated by economic war alone, or will it require a kinetic component to defeat the regime?
Peloni: Claims of peace should always be understood to be ephemeral. This is true everywhere, and in the Middle East it should be understood to have even greater relevance, yet, in Israel it should be understood to hold the very highest relevance. The Abraham Accords (AA) was an interesting to have joined the interests of the Sunni nations with that of Israel by focusing on the strategic effort to deal with the threat from Iran, which faced all of them, by eliminating the primacy of the Pal situation before doing so. There were issues of trade and economy which added to the merriment of the AA, but the truth is that the root focus of the Accord was in facing Iran. Like all things, time pulls at the tapestry of such agreement, rendering even the most decisive of political alignments tenuous, as can be seen to be true with the alliance between America and its European allies who baulked at even lending America its mine sweepers at a critical juncture in the recent war. Keeping this in mind, the AA was never likely to make the Middle East a permanent nirvana, and as we have seen with the actions of AA signatories and those yet to sign, duplicitous backstabbing was easily not eliminated by the AA as Israel was vociferously opposed by those inside and outside the Accords even before October 7, and even after it as well. So this latest revelation should not be too terribly surprising. Hence, the phrase suggesting that one must keep their friends close and their enemies closer might be better understood to note that in the Middle East, the concepts of friendship and peace are based upon a nation’s strength and capabilities. Indeed, there is a reason that Israel is the only nation that Iran has notably not struck since Trump’s porous ceasefire was announced four months ago. Israel must keep a close vigilence to the strength and capabilities of the relative actors in the region, and note that only so long as the Jewish State can maintain a significant advantage in these over its potential friends and adversaries will any peace be kept or friendship be held in place.
Speculations fly as censor forbids identifying the countries
Officials from a country in the Middle East advised another regional country to pretend to make peace with Israel in order to prepare for a larger war against it, Channel 12 News and state broadcaster Kan News reported Monday, after the IDF military censor approved the publication.

Serbia has always been pro-Israel in its general attitude, but now it is demonstrating its friendship with the Jewish state in more tangible ways. It maintains close security and economic ties that are becoming ever more extensive; its officials, including President Alexander Vucic, have declared their solidarity with Israel. More on how the Serbs identify with the Jews of Israel can be found here: “As defense ties deepen, Serbia becomes one of Israel’s closest allies in Europe,” by Jonathan Spyer, Jerusalem Post, August 1, 2026:

The truth is, I’ve reviewed the attached publications and others repeatedly to make sure I’m not hallucinating. The German Embassy—yes, the actual embassy of a “friendly” country—is hosting a conference entirely dedicated to bolstering the left in the upcoming elections?
Peloni: America is being re-envisioned before our eyes thru the manipulation of language and the inversion of the very meaning of justice and peace. The path to the future lies on the far side of the coming elections, as is true in every election, so as Amy Mek notes below, and as I have often noted, Americans must “VOTE LIKE YOUR LIFE AND COUNTRY DEPENDS ON IT”, because it does.

As the world advances a “roadmap” for Gaza, Hamas is signaling: Civilian administration, yes; disarmament, no. The model is Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the implications for Israel are clear.

In October 2025, nearly a year ago, the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas took effect, brokered with the personal involvement of US President Donald Trump. The American president was quick, as usual, to proclaim “peace on earth,” bringing an end to the bloody conflict in and over the Land of Israel.

The Hanson Proposal: Bypassing Tehran Through a Government-in-Exile
By Amil Imani |
Reza Pahlavi, Crown Prince of Iran. By ir.voanews.com, Public Domain, Wikipedia
For over four decades, Washington’s posture toward the Islamic Republic of Iran has oscillated between containment, targeted economic sanctions, and episodic diplomatic engagement. Historian and military strategist Victor Davis Hanson argues that this paradigm has proven utterly ineffective at checking Tehran’s regional aggression or supporting the democratic aspirations of the Iranian public. During a high-profile broadcast exchange with commentator Mark Levin, Hanson put forward a provocative shift in U.S. foreign policy: formal diplomatic recognition of an Iranian government-in-exile headed by Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi.
Peloni: Dr. David Wurmser talks with Rabbi Pesach Wolicki and provides insights on the recently announced Sunni NATO alliance. Among other points raised by Wurmser in this video is the reality that this alliance does little more than to offer Turkey greater access to Yemen. Also, note the important reflection which Wurmser describes as he highlights the very unfortunate commonality which he sees between Trump’s effort to minimize the war with Iran and Pres. Bush’s effort to minimize the war in Afganistan. Instead, Trump should have, and still needs to, make the case to the American public as to the necessity of having to crush the Iranian regime. The threat to America from Iran easily outdistances Iran’s insistence on developing a nuclear bomb, and the elimination of the Iranian regime and their proxy forces is a vital security interest to the US foreign policy and American national security.

UPDATE: Board of Peace Gaza envoy Nickolay Mladenov warns that Full, verified implementation of Board of Peace Gaza plan is ‘the only guarantee’ that October 7 tragedy won’t recur. He goes on to argue that the undefined “verification mechanism” and not trust is what the Board of Peace plan is based around, and that “None of the plan that we are preparing limits Israel’s options to react to a threat if it’s imminent and if it’s really endangering its troops.” Noting the not too subtle overtly limiting qualifications of “if it’s imminent” and “if its really endangering” IDF troops, Mladenov highlights the inherent negotiable nature of Israel’s position going forward. He also insists that a step by step process of small sectors be disarmed while Israel retreats from these individual sectors, which is clearly contrary to the designed plan in UNSCR 2803. Netanyahu is correct to have changed his position in working with this Roadmap. It is untenable, and betrays the original 20 Point plan, which was already inherently dangerous as it was originally constructed.
Peloni: This report has been maturing thru the day. Since this latest update in the article below, Channel 12 has clarified that Netanyahu approved the withdrawal of IDF forces from three pilot centers where the Gaza plan would initially be implemented. This authorization however has been withdrawn over the past day, which led to a good bit of confusion where things actually stand. Where they do stand is that the IDF is NOT withdrawing as Netanyahu explains below that
“[The Americans] have ideas, some of which are acceptable to us and some of which are unacceptable, and we know how to stand firm against these things.”
Good for Netanyahu. I am relieved that he ultimately made the correct, while noting that he is under intense pressure from both the US and the Israeli electorate.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that Israel does not accept the 15-point roadmap proposed for the next phase of U.S. President Donald Trump’s Gaza plan and that the Israel Defense Forces will not withdraw from Gaza until Hamas has been genuinely disarmed.

There are places on this earth where the dirt itself is sanctified by suffering. The grounds of Nazi concentration camps—the final resting places for millions of murdered Jews—are not anti Semitic parks, political arenas, or backdrops for an ancient Islamic or Modern grievance with the Jews:
They are open-air graveyards.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has repeatedly declared that Israel committed genocide in Gaza. In July he went further.
