‘Bloodshed will follow if Trump moves US embassy to Jerusalem’

“I believe that any American act of stupidity will ignite the Palestinian territories,” says senior Fatah official.

The Palestinians will start a new violent uprising if Donald Trump’s incoming White House administration relocates the US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a senior Fatah official indicated this week in an interview translated by MEMRI.

“I believe that any American act of stupidity will ignite the Palestinian territories,” Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu al-Einein told Egypt’s Alghad TV on Sunday.

Al-Einein, an aide to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, also pointed to Israeli “arrogance” and settlement activity along with the potential US maneuver as provoking Palestinian violence.

(Fatah Official Sultan Abu Al-Einein: Transfer of US embassy to Jerusalem will lead to renewed bloods)

“We must prepare for a confrontation with the new US administration, which has clearly and audaciously declared that Israel and its settlements are legitimate and legal,” he asserted.

The Palestinian official charged that Washington and Jerusalem “will bear responsibility for the return of the bloodshed in the Palestinian territories.”

The Trump team has said that the US president-elect considers moving the embassy a “very big priority.”

Throughout his campaign for the presidency, Trump repeatedly said he would move the US Embassy if elected – a political promise past US presidents have frequently made, yet has never been held.

Longstanding US policy is to treat the status of Jerusalem as an issue to be settled in final-status negotiations with the Palestinians.

Trump’s pledge to move the mission has been met with mixed reactions from Israeli officials.

Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman has questioned whether it would be wise for Trump to prioritize moving America’s embassy upon taking office. Meanwhile, Israel’s ambassador to the US Ron Dermer has backed the potential move as “a great step for peace.”

  1. since when did these Arabs need an excuse for bloodshed? it goes on week in, week out. Isralis should fear a US move from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem? That’s not a credible threat. The Arab street should be fearful of blowback if they commit violence against a legitimate legal move by the US.

  2. Time to stop quibbling and write to Israeli ministries asking that they check their plans to take advantage of an outbreak of more Arab violence as the US Embassy moves to Jerusalem: to snipe the leaders of violent demos as in 2000; to deport those arrested demonstrating violently with their families to Gaza or Syria instead of cluttering up prisons. To use this as cover to deport those prisoners with less than a year to release – and their families to Gaza – or Syria according to whether named Masri and Maghrebi, or something else. To demolish all buildings erected without permits even if it means calling out all IDF engineer units to help to do this in a week.

  3. Give in to Arab threats and you lose all credibility, I hope Trump gets this and that the threats will motivate him to move the Embassy as he promised, but be ready to retaliate with great force on anyone attacking the Embassy and to support Israel morally when they are attacked as a result of uprisings. Should there be any attacks on Israel they must be retaliation with great force. The terrorists want to destroy Israel they must get the message that Israel is here to stay. Enough PC and pussyfooting with genocidal maniacs.

    Somebody mentioned goats or cheese.

“Avera Mengistu (Hebrew: ???? ???????, Amharic: ??? ??????) is an Israeli Ethiopian Jew from Ashkelon, Israel, who crossed into Gaza through Zikim beach on September 7, 2014, was interrogated by Hamas, and Hamas claims he was then released. Since then, he has disappeared.[1] His family stated he was mentally unstable, was admitted before to a mental hospital and has been treated with medicine which he had stopped taking.[2]”

Maybe instead of releasing terrorists — if they’re not going to follow my previous common-sense suggestion (which they’re not) to get him back. They should put the great Pierre Richard on the job.

“La Chèvre (English title: Knock on Wood, literal translation: The Goat) is a 1981 French comedy film directed by Francis Veber, starring Pierre Richard and Gérard Depardieu. It is the first of three films featuring Richard and Depardieu as a comic duo…Plot[edit]
La Chèvre features Depardieu as the tough-guy private detective Campana, hired to find Marie, the daughter of a rich businessman, who has mysteriously disappeared while vacationing in Mexico. The case turns out to be complicated – several attempts to find her have already failed. A psychologist, Meyer, who works for the businessman, suggests a plan. Marie is known to be extremely unlucky and accident-prone; the psychologist advises sending someone equally accident-prone to find her, on the theory that what happened to her may also happen to him, and thus, following her steps while the detective tags along, the daughter can be found and returned home. Richard’s character Perrin is an awkward, accident-prone accountant who works for the businessman, and is chosen to implement the scheme. The adventures of an odd duo begin…” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Ch%C3%A8vre

Case in point: From 2 days ago.

    “Student protesters block Bennett speech”

“Student protesters interrupt speech by Education Minister at Tel Aviv University to demand return of Israeli held by Hamas…Education Minister Naftali Bennett was giving a speech at Tel Aviv University when a group of demonstrators interrupted the speech with chants for the release of Avera Mengistu, one of two Israelis being held by the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip.”

    “Avera Mengistu”

    “…Hamas demands[edit]
In 2016, Hamas demanded the release of 50 Palestinian prisoners who were released as part of the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange and subsequently rearrested, as the “entry fee” to start negotiating for the release of Mengistu and for the separation of his negotiation from other issues.[9][10] An unnamed Israeli official said in July 2016 that Hamas wanted a deal similar to the Shalit exchange, in which hundreds of prisoners would be released in return for the bodies of IDF soldier Oron Shaul and IDF officer Hadar Goldin as well as the living civilians Mengistu and Hisham al-Sayed, an Israeli Bedouin held by Hamas.[11]…”

If every terrorist attack — including those by “lone wolves”, and including those labeled as “crime” — so every act of violence by Arabs against Jews or “Palestinians” against Israeli citizens — whether behind the Green Line or not — begins an open-ended war of assassination against the terrorist leadership and middle level leadership, without regard to borders or even continents, until brought to an end through negotiation, each time, with humiliating concessions on their part, they will enforce the peace themselves. Believe me. And, moreover, nothing could demoralize, frighten and paralyze the rank and file, the “street”, if you will, more than that. They will happily sacrifice innocents, but go after their leaders and they will freak. This has been done. It works.
Another way this is effective is to weaken their propaganda by showing the fissures in “Palestinian” society and forcing them to crack down and engage in witch hunts, widening such fissures. One reason, little David has been so effective against the Arab, Muslim Goliath is that we have a lot of hidden allies and when they are activated, the terrorists have no where to hide. We have “eyes” everywhere. My guess is that that is why so many of the intelligence community are liberals. They are afraid of pissing off their assets, the voluntary ones. But I don’t think that’s a realistic fear. More like a phobia. I had a phobia once. But I got rid of it. It scared me!

  6. @ Sebastien Zorn:
    If I may add a few notes…
Netanyahu and others have consistently favored Muslin terrorists including murderers for release as “gestures”… Until now the government… has returned the remains of terrorists to their hamulas for special ceremonial burials.
Several of the released Muslim terrorists returned to their acts of savagery.
Kuntar, a gruesome murderer who slaughtered our people in Nahariah for example, was released and provided support to Hezbollah thereafter.

  7. Regrettably while Israel remains locked by self elected pretend judges ukases and run by foreign governments handlers, those Islamic monsters will also remain their “partners”. Netanyahu will, by all means possible, prevent the new administration policies changes in our favor.
Further. Given a choice, the “family” of self elected items, following the pseudo judge Barak and his walkyrias to date, will ALWAYS favor Muslims over Jews.
In Oslo and even before, the “family” combina chose to join in “partnership” Arafat and his beasts rather than “partnering” with the Jewish people.
To be able to destroy the enemy the people must clear the deck… (I hope that word is the right one), and elect from from outside the combina worthy people to lead the country.

  8. The followers of Mohammed thrive on bloodshed. They threaten to attack an any and all occasions and they kill even their own children. They have attacked others for 14 centuries, and they will not stop until they are stopped permanently. With America’s new administration, this may be the time to show that they will not rule the world, ever.

  9. the money source needs to be strangled, and bomb all the isis Imams and their followers, whatever it takes
Such vermin , Nazi like ideology has to be stopped NOW!!!!!!!!

  10. Advancing brings violence and retreating brings violence. They want us dead. The only thing that will always contain the violence and make them sue for temporary peace is to respond to terrorism by systematically assassinating the hamas and plo officials in charge of it. Make them live their lives in bunkers, always looking over their shoulders. Their leaders are cowards. I would add mullahs who issue fatwas authorizing violence to the list. muslims are not self-acting. Wherever they may be. Better than arresting them anyway. Israel has no death penalty. Prisons are like all-expenses-paid country-clubs with stipends for the families. The more Jews they killed, the bigger the stipend. And every so often terrorists in custody are released for one reason or another. Remember the Gil Shalit travesty? How many Jews were murdered by the released terrorists? What kind of deterrence is that? The only legitimate excuse for sparing the lives of terrorists is to turn them or to torture them for information before disposing of them. I wonder if anybody has ever tried the “Mission Impossible” scenarios in real life. I mean the original tv series. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060009/

  11. Whether you have any faith coming to you be reading the Brit HaDasha, or not, is insignificant. But I believe that God clearly describes His coming (Jesus) to Jerusalem and will establish (once again) His throne, and reign for 1000 years from that throne.

  12. Impressive array of responses to the Muslim specimen menaces. Well done all of you. Time to slam the Islamic vermin… MK Tibi is a very aware Arab fellow and his calling on ISIS is quite interesting.
In 17 days starts a new era in Washington. And I see the nearing renewals here as well.

  13. @ Jonathan Ottenstein:
The God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, is your Eternal Sheriff. But Trump can also be used as His tool. Jerusalem, and all its promised territories belong to the Jews. I’ve been a proponent of relocating the USA Embassy to Jerusalem, since the mid-1960’s, and expressed that yearning to our government.

  14. Al-Einen
    Come on and try it
    you will only lose
your stupidity and arrogance knows no bounds
There is a new sheriff in town coming to US named Trump
and he will tell you to go jump in the lake
God gave us Israel and Jerusalem
Jerusalem is mentioned many times in Tanach but not once in the Koran

  15. Sultan Abu al-Einein is a blatant bully who will deserve to lose family members if he starts a fight. He is pretending to a self righteous pose of keeping the peace he wants to break anyway. Since the 1920 and 21 riots the average interval between Arab riots, wars and intifadas – bouts of violence – is eight years so we are due for one as a fresh generation of teenagers has grown up to think they are in the simple right and fireproof.

  16. How dare you, Sultan Abu al-Einein, to threaten actions against Israel and the USA. You cannot possibly believe that you can control the intentions of the USA. You’re sick in the head, if you do. So now, please just go and shut the front door.

  17. Placing the US Embassy in our ancestral capital will be the most cherished act by our US friends. A telling blow to the UN and the EU white flag experts pretending to be Gauls. That move to Jerusalem would be far more effective than sanctions or votes.
As to menaces from the Muslim Oslo Peresites “partners”. Please, please bring it on. That would represent the realization of a long awaited miracle. We would love to see the imaginary “people” igniting themselves and so end their infestation of Eretz Israel once and for all. Much rather they incinerate themselves than them burning our forests, fields and homes.

  18. Move the Embassy to the Consulate in Jerusalem I believe it a little past the old Green Line (what the haters call East Jerusalem). That would be a clear message of accepting a Unified Jerusalem by washington. The bill that authorized the move in 1995 recognized a Unifed Jerusalem.
