We Assess…Iran Probably Already Has Nuclear Weapons

By  September 25, 2019

Some in Washington want to bomb Iran for attacking Saudi Arabia’s oil fields.  But what if Iran has nuclear missiles?

Intelligence failure can kill thousands, as Washington learned on December 7, 1941, and should have learned again on September 11, 2001.  Intelligence failure in the nuclear missile age can destroy entire nations.

Washington officialdom believes Iran does not yet have nuclear weapons based on little more than wishful thinking and blind faith in an Intelligence Community deeply corrupted by the Obama Administration—and still unreformed by President Trump.

Three years ago, senior Reagan and Clinton administration officials warned that Iran probably already has nuclear weapons.  See “Underestimating Nuclear Missile Threats from North Korea and Iran” National Review February 12, 2016:

Pregnant orthodox mother wins marathon

By Joshua Halickman, JPOST
Marathon mom Beatie Deutsch is opening the eyes of the Israeli public

Is it possible that an observant Jewish mother of five is at the top of the Israeli running world and attempting to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics?

Well, when it comes to Bracha “Beatie” Deutsch, anything is on the table.

The 30-year-old runner made aliyah from Washington, DC in 2009, making her home in the ultra-Orthodox Har Nof neighborhood of Jerusalem.

“Speedy Beatie” only began running in 2015 as a desperate move to get back into shape. After having four children in six years, Deutsch – who in the spirit of modesty dons a head covering, skirt and long-sleeve shirt when she runs – needed to find time to consistently exercise. Training for a marathon was the way she was going to do exactly that.

Impeachment? Bring it on. Trump can put the Dems on trial in the Senate

The entrenched elites of both parties and a large portion of the corrupt upper federal bureaucracy understand the mortal threat President Trump poses to them.  This threat has been the driving force behind the continuous efforts to destroy the Trump presidency since (and before) the President’s inauguration.

These forces have no doubt already figured out they can’t beat the President at the ballot box. Impeachment is their last desperate chance to rid themselves of the man who has so effectively exposed their self-enrichment and multiple sell-outs of the American people. And now they think they see their chance — based on a single telephone call in which America’s president, reasonably and with more than good cause, suspecting criminal wrongdoing, may have sought the assistance of a foreign head of state in getting to the bottom of his amply justified suspicions.

They are counting on the now widely and deeply loathed former Republican, Mitt Romney, to round up enough Republican turncoat Trump haters to reach two thirds of the Senate — all without regard to the total absence of anything remotely approaching “high crimes and misdemeanors.”

The New York Times Has a Jewish Problem (Part 2)

[The New York Times Has a Jewish Problem. Part 1]

Under-reporting by the New York Times on Nazi antisemitism, and the deliberate placement of such abridged stories deep inside the paper, had terrible consequences for the Jews of Europe. First, American Jews who relied on the Times for their information, in that pre-television era, had no clear idea of the extent of the antisemitic horrors being perpetrated, and how, as the Nazi war machine extended German rule over much of Europe, Jews trapped in those occupied lands were being systematically slaughtered – gassed in camps or mobile vans, shot, burned alive, worked deliberately to death — in the Endlosung, or Final Solution to the “Jewish problem.”

Had they been better informed, and in a timelier fashion, American Jews — properly alarmed — would have made much greater efforts to rescue their relatives, and other Jews, too. They would have sent money, and money given to bribe the right rat in the right office might mean that life-saving visas could be acquired, both for exit and entrance. That money could also pay for transportation out of Nazi-occupied Europe, and for the services of passeurs who could smuggle Jews into such safe havens as Switzerland or Spain or Turkey. Such sums from America could prove useful for desperate Jews, too, in other ways — to pay for lodging, food, and transport – if they were on the run.

The New York Times Minimizes the Threat of Islamism Again:

A Strange Story about Sweden’s Populist Response

by Howard Rotberg

Is there much doubt that many Muslims, even those who migrate to the West, agree that Sharia Law is preferred to western constitutional law? Do we tolerate the risks from those who advocate really barbaric practices anathema to Western civilization, such as beating wives who are disobedient , female genital mutilation, honour killings, polygamy, marrying underage females, taking sexual slaves, and raping non-Muslims? In my book, Tolerism: The Ideology Revealed, I discuss the essence of western toleration of conduct which is said to be protected by freedom of religion, but which stems from an ideology using a religion, which ideology is simply evil and barbaric and threatens our constitutionally enshrined freedoms. The Islamists prevent the reform of the religion that must occur to make it compatible with western values.

I have spent a lot of time thinking about, and writing about, why our culture, in tolerating behaviours that ought not to be tolerated, risks through self-hatred, masochism, a cultural Stockholm Syndrome, anti-Semitism and anti-Christianity, and a general hatred of the good for being good, and an embrace of evil, seems bent on self-destruction.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Blue and White leader Benny Gantz plan to meet on Wednesday evening in a last-ditch attempt to form a unity government.

The Likud’s spokesman announced the meeting shortly after Likud and Blue and White negotiating teams concluded a Sunday morning meeting without any progress.

Netanyahu called Gantz, who is spending the Rosh Hashanna holiday in London, to make a final effort in coalition negotiations. He said they should meet upon Gantz’s return to Israel, and even offered to go to Gantz’s home in Rosh Ha’ayin.

Report: Antisemitic harassment at US campuses hits historic levels

Israel-related antisemitic expression on campus has increased significantly in amount and blatant eliminationist intent. College faculty members are now directly contributing to the rise of antisemitism on campus.

By Adam Kredo, INN

Antisemitic harassment on college campuses aimed at pro-Israel students jumped by 70 percent in the past year, the highest levels ever seen, according to a new study showing that the endorsement of anti-Israel causes by students and professors has created an unsafe environment for Jewish students.

Harassment of students who expressed pro-Israel ideologies jumped 70 percent from 2017 to 2018, according to a new report by the AMCHA Initiative, a campus organization that monitors antisemitism on more than 400 college campuses and that has recorded some 2,500 antisemitic incidents across the U.S. since 2015.

The EU is waging war on Israel!

We have been shocked and appalled to discover just how duplicitous and destructive German and EU policy is toward Israel.

By Dr. Joachim Kuhs, MEP, INN

Joachim Kuhs in Samaria

As a Member of the EU Parliament on the Budget Committee for the Alternative for Germany party (AfD), I was able to visit Judea and Samaria August 11-15 and see how the European Union is undermining the peace process and funding illegal Arab settlements in Area C.

First off, I must ask you to forget everything you have read about the AfD from mainstream media, which have often become anti-conservative and anti-Israel. Just as the left-wing media managed to somehow portray Donald Trump, perhaps the most pro-Israel President of the United States ever, as “anti-Semitic”, they have also falsely portrayed the AfD in the same way, the most pro-Israel party in the German Bundestag and the only party which actively seeks to defend Jews in Germany against imported Muslim antisemitism.

The US cannot neglect Kurdistan, a pillar of its Middle East strategy and stability

By Seth Frantzman and Eric Mandel, MEPIN

Amid tensions with Iran and challenges facing U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East, the Kurdistan autonomous region of northern Iraq stands out as a reliable partner that is increasingly vital for U.S. national security interests. It has a successful record of working with the U.S.-led coalition to defeat ISIS and serves as a bulwark against extremist groups and Iranian influence.

However, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) is imperiled if it is ignored in U.S. strategic goals in Iraq and neighboring states. Since September 2017, when the region held an independence referendum, there have been concerns in the KRG capital of Erbil that U.S. support is lacking at crucial moments. For example, after the referendum, which Washington opposed, Iranian-supported militias exploited the absence of U.S. policy to prod Baghdad into an attack on Kirkuk. Kurdish Peshmerga who had held the city and defended it from ISIS were pushed aside, souring relations between Erbil and Baghdad, and giving Iran a victory in Iraq as its political allies celebrated.

When the dust settled, the new reality on the ground was another step forward for an Iranian land bridge to Lebanon that stretches through Iraq and Syria.

An Open Letter to Netanyahu and Gantz: Do your Jobs

By Victor Rosenthal

Over the coming weeks, 100% of the words uttered by our politicians will be lies, obfuscations, spin, dissimulation, disinformation and other forms of useless verbiage. I’ll try not to report on it, because what’s the point? – Ya’akov Lozowick, in a tweet about a week after the recent election

Dear Bibi and Benny:

I’ve had enough of your egos. All of Am Yisrael has had enough.

Seventy years ago, a Jewish state was re-established in the Land of Israel after thousands of years during which the Jewish people were forced to live under one or another foreign regime; years when they did not know what to expect tomorrow; years when they had to keep their suitcases packed.

After the horrors of war and Holocaust, a remnant of European Jewry was saved, here in Eretz Yisrael. When the Muslim world expelled most of its Jewish population in a paroxysm of Jew-hatred, they came and were brought here. Threatened Jews came from Iraq, Syria, Egypt, North Africa, Yemen, Ethiopia, and other places.

The Humanitarian Hoax of Impeachment: Killing America With Kindness – hoax 49

By Linda Goudsmit, PUNDICITY

The Humanitarian Hoax is a deliberate and deceitful tactic of presenting a destructive policy as altruistic. The humanitarian huckster presents himself as a compassionate advocate when in fact he is the disguised enemy.

The entire 2020 lineup of leftist Democrats and their Congressional sycophants have assured the nation that impeachment of President Trump is necessary to protect the nation. It is an odd assertion considering that President Trump has been wildly successful by pro-America standards. Let’s review.

In less than three years President Trump has added 6 million jobs to the workforce, unemployment is the lowest it has ever been for the black, Hispanic, and Asian communities. The United States is energy independent and we are now the leading exporter of energy in the world. So, what exactly do the Democrats mean when they say that YOU, the nation, will be safer without POTUS? Let’s find out.

No Climate Emergency say 500 Scientists to UN

Reform launches a political war in time for the High Holidays

T. Belman. I posted Rabbi Spero’s powerful article yesterday condemning liberal Jews. Tobin’s article about the message being disseminated by Reform Judaism is a case in point.

In this case, the apple has fallen far from the tree.

A condemnation of Trump and the implication that all people of faith are bound to oppose him creates a toxic mix of partisanship and religion.

By Jonathan S Tobin, jns

(September 12, 2019 / JNS) It turns out that the Jewish community didn’t need to wait until the synagogues were packed for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur in order to gauge the amount of political rhetoric that American rabbis were going to deploy in their High Holiday sermons. The Reform movement of Judaism has already stolen a march on the rest of the Jewish world with a statement issued earlier this month condemning President Donald Trump. In a blog post on the website of the Union of Reform Judaism signed by the leaders of all 12 institutions associated with the denomination, the movement made it clear that it considers Trump beyond the pale in ways that even transcend the sort of liberal partisanship that is normally associated with Reform Jews.

The wording of the statement and its timing—just a few weeks before Rosh Hashanah—exemplified that what the movement intends is more than just an effort to depict Judaism as, in the words of the old joke, the Democratic Party platform with holidays thrown in.

Iran’s Audacious Saudi Attack Will Require Israel to Upgrade Its Missile Defense

The precision and effectiveness of Iran’s strike on Saudi oil fields put Israel’s strategic infrastructure in danger

Amos Harel, Amir Tibon, HAARETZ

The current episode of “CSI: Saudi Arabia” is turning out to be particularly long and complicated. As in the veteran, multiple-version American television series, the investigation of the attack on Saudi Arabian oil facilities on September 14 rests on an ever-growing mountain of evidence. Western intelligence services already know for certain that Iran was behind that unprecedented attack, which wrought extensive damage to the Saudi petroleum industry, shook up the global energy market and truly horrified the rulers of the Gulf states.

But it’s a long way from that conclusion to a concrete response. This week, Iranian President Hassan Rohani was given a royal welcome at the annual meeting of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City. The leaders of the powers that remain committed to the nuclear accord with Tehran posed happily with him for photographs. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson looked positively thrilled – he was caught on film with an ecstatic smile on his face – but maybe that’s because he had managed to escape the chaos of Brexit momentarily.

ACLU urges US gov’t to end probe of Middle East studies programme

The rights group says ‘universities are under no obligation to further the [Trump] administration’s anti-Muslim agenda’.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has called for the US Department of Education (DOE) to drop an investigation into a university’s Middle East studies programme, saying the agency is attempting to mould the curriculum according to the administration’s “ideological standards”.

In a letter to school officials in August, the DOE said that the joint Duke University-University of North Carolina Consortium for Middle East Studies offered students a biased curriculum.

DOE Assistant Secretary Robert King wrote in the letter that the programme included a “considerable emphasis placed on the understanding the positive aspects of Islam” without a similar positive focus on other religions or belief systems in the Middle East or focus on persecuted religious minorities.

Options: Gantz Capitulates, Netanyahu Ousted or Third Election Upon Us

After the president tasked Netanyahu with forming a government, another election seems inescapable, but it’s hard to imagine the prime minister giving up chance to form government that easily

By Chaim Levinson, HAARETZ

President Reuven Rivlin gives Netanyahu the mandate to form a government at the President's Residence, September 25, 2019.

Olivier Fitoussi

A day after President Reuven Rivlin tasked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with forming a new government, the solution to assembling it does not appear to be on the horizon. Likud’s expected victory never came, and Wednesday night’s announcements from the President’s Residence looked like an extra step on the way to a third round of elections.

Is there a way to prevent going to the polls again? Haaretz maps out the possible scenarios for the coming month.

According to the Basic Law on the Government, the first Knesset member to be tasked with forming a new government has 28 days to do so, after which they can request an extension of up to 14 more days. At any time during this period, the lawmaker can inform the president that they are unable to form a government, and let him give the mandate to someone else.

By Rabbi Aryeh Spero, AMERICAN THINKER

The rash of physical attacks against Jews in Brooklyn and Manhattan began almost a year ago.  We have cellphone and street camera footage of many of the attacks, and they are coming from assailants bellowing “Allahu Akbar” and from younger black and Hispanic men often yelling “dirty Jew.” They sneak up on Jewish-garbed citizens using bricks and stones, breaking bones and smashing eyes. There was no mainstream media discussion about this until a few weeks ago, and the major Jewish establishment organizations were basically silent as well. Even now, none of these Jewish organizations are flexing their muscles or evincing anywhere near the type of outrage we should expect.

You can be sure that if the attackers were white or Jewish and the victims Black, Muslim, or Hispanic, the establishment alphabet Jewish organizations (ADL, AJC, NYF, JCRC, Conference of Presidents, and Federations) would be the very first organizing protests against racism and pontificating about something rotten within American society.
