I grew up in a delineated world. You were a Jew, Catholic or Protestant. Never heard of Muslims. You were white or black. Brown not so much. You knew your place and stayed there. Intermarriage of any sort was virtually forbidden especially racial intermarriage.
My youngest son grew up in a different world. Though he went to parochial school and was shomer Shabbat, when he got to college he entered a different world. The Toronto population at the time was 50% third world. He entered the world of inclusion. Then he went to NYU and then Harvard. He, like most students, gravitated to inclusive societies. His friends were the colour of the rainbow, with mixed sexual orientation. Judaism, what’s that and who cares.
Inclusion is good It is the opposite of discrimination. I have no quarrel with it. But as I told my daughter “My personal view is that I like being Jewish (part of the Jewish people) and am not willing to sacrifice this on the alter of inclusion. Other people can be as inclusive as they wish but I limit my inclusion to people who are not antisemetic or anti-Israel. Colour of skin and religion are of no moment. I have many Christian friends but they are not in my social circles. Only Jews are whether they be homosexuals or of colour. Does that make me non inclusive? ”
This was driven home to me when watching this video which showed how the German government, and I am sure others, was indoctrinating their children to not discriminate, not be separate, marry anyone, welcome Muslims etc. In my day differences were important. Today they are unimportant. If you differentiate today you are called a racist. Nor can you prefer one culture over another. After all, all cultures are relative. (sarc).
But it is not enough for the left, the blacks and the Muslims, at least the extremists among them. They want to annihilate democracy and the will of the majority. It started with the Bill of Rights being passed in many countries thereby tying the hands of parliament to pass laws as the majority wanted. This no doubt it was a good thing and a needed thing.
It still wasn’t enough. Affirmative action was demanded. Meritocracy abandoned. White societies that brought us democracy and progress were spat upon. The rule of law with its freedom or speech and religion were discarded. Force and intimidation was preferred over the rule of law and democracy. That’s anarchy.
Christians are being hounded from the public square and being persecuted for acting on their religious beliefs. They can no longer expound their beliefs regarding homosexuals nor refuse to be of service to homosexuals at their weddings. They are not permitted to be conscientious objectors.
The Muslims on the other hand can do no wrong. Their honour killings and polygamy, though against the law, are ignored. They are not satisfied with reasonable accommodation. They demand subjugation to their demands or else. They are treated with kid gloves while Christians are fined and put in jail.
The West embraces accommodation to the other. Not so for Muslims who have been taught that Islam is superior and Muslims are superior. They believe in their superiority and in the dhimmy status of the people of the book (Jews and Christians) and their right to kill all infidels and Jews and Christians if they like. They believe in Jihad and that Islam with its sharia law will rule the world. They do not believe in democracy. They believe in force and their own entitlement.
Not all Muslims feel this way. I call them apostates.
Freedom of speech, which used to be sacrosanct in my day, is now subservient to the feelings of Muslims or homosexuals but not Jews. “Truth” is no defense.
Israel is the canary in the mines. All these forces are brought to bear against the Jews and Israel. The whole world is telling us how to be and demanding that we conform to their notions of proper values. We are rejected because of our exclusiveness, our religion and our desire to be different. Law and facts don’t matter. Conformity with their demands, does.
The US and Israel keep talking about our shared values but the American values are changing. whereas Israel’s, remain conservative in certain respects. She wants to preserve the past. At the same time Israel is very progressive in that gays and all colours are welcomed. The only conservative values that Israel still maintains are religion, peoplehood and the rule of law. But the world demands that we abandon these also.
I fear for my grandkids.
I think we all have to stick to our guns. This guerilla warfare will last at least 100 years with dirty bombs and nuclear bombs in the fray at times. The dying West is not having babies; Muslims have them by the baker’s dozen. If the Marxists don’t get us with their philosophy that the end justifies the means, the Muslims may with the identical immoral philosophy. Barack’s got 10,000 Syrian men being off-loaded in New Orleans, the land of dreams, as we speak.

There are many people like Ted Belman who are bemoaning Europe becoming Islamised. But it is not unique to Europe. It also happens in the US, in South America and in many other places in the world including Canada where Belman has lived most of his life before moving to Israel. And Israel has refused over many decades to do a single thing about removing the Muslims from Israel. In fact leaders like Bennett who is an out and out Israeli capitalist, part of the Israeli capitalist class and system, on Hard Talk made a big deal of being a great friend of the Palestinian Arabs who are Muslims and are central to the Jihad against Israel. And Bennett is the most principled of a bad lot.
The fact is that the whole of the world is facing a threat from Jihadist Islam and that all of the capitalist leaders of this world do nothing about it and sometimes are encouraging it.
This includes Israeli leaders. So Belman should concentrate perhaps of ridding Israel of its Muslims, and especially of Fatah and Hamas.
Until he and Israeli Jews do this they have every right to talk about Europe but their message is diluted by their own bankruptcy int he face of the Jihad against Israel.
In the meantime the attacks by Belman and his coterie of commenters on Israpundit arenot defending the French people from Jihad at all as these comments make clear (these are all regulars on Israpundit)

these are interesting times… for the past few years the enemies of Israel have slipped into chaos, suffering and killing each other….. and now they who have been funding the honor killers to kill Jews, who fund building muslim homes on Jewish lands now find that their pets are flooding into their homes seeking their heads. the euro enemy is perhaps now sinking into chaos, suffering and the plague of being flooded by his own servants. I sent my article to my leftist thinking daughter who tore into me for some of my statements and implied statements. So I made some amendments that you may wish to read.
I found the clip but not able to copy it. Trudeau did say that the ‘terrorist attacks’ are troublesome. I saw it on the news myself.
He is hedging when confronted with pulling out of the war with ISIS. He will get plenty of questioning from other world leaders where he is right now in Turkey. Not a good time to ditch this mission.
He should also take the heat for trying to fast track 25000 here without being properly screened first. They plan to screen them here on the military bases. What for? What if they don’t meet the criteria? What then?
At least one maybe two of the Paris attackers were so called Syrian refugees. That should send a warning bell to Trudeau and all Canadians to jump on the band wagon!
Wrong, Trudea was reported by CTV as saying: “we should not jump into conclusions”.
And he also wants to pull Canadian jet fighters from joining the fights against ISIS. Shame on all — especially Jews — who voted for him, and abandoned Steven Harper, the noblest and best PM Canada ever had, and the most outstanding world leader in this rotten world.

My grandchildren will have a fighting chance because they are well armed and skilled sharpshooters. Regrettably there will be much, much more of this. It was predictable as far back as 9/11 when the West responded to that horror with increased PC, Bush’s exclamation that Islam is a “religion of peace” and the election of a president overtly sympathetic to Islam if indeed a Muslim himself. Now the collective idiots in the US, Germany and Canada’s recent contribution to insanity, are opening the doors to tens of thousand Muslims who are eager to feast upon the Western teat of social largesse. How many jihadists will use the “refugee” opportunity to infiltrate these countries and spread terror and death on our shores? How will Germany vet up to a million Muslims? Indeed, the new Canadian Prime Moron wants to import 25,000 Muslims by the end of the year! I hope those who voted for Trudeau won’t mind possibly having their very own jihadist in their neighborhoods. The importation of thousands of Muslims is like pouring an accelerant on a fire that is starting to consume Europe and will inevitably burn us as well.

The Paris massacre has revealed much about the true priorities of Europe.
Affixing a yellow star this past week to Israeli products from Judea, Samaria, the Golan Heights and Jerusalem consumed the attention of European policymakers.
Protecting their own citizens from Islamic terrorism wasn’t even on the agenda.
Excuse me if I don’t get overly choked up over the human carnage in Paris.
Europe, blinded by its hate for the Jewish State, didn’t even notice the deadly enemy already inside its gates.

Its not like Europe hasn’t had advance warning. Its filled with people at best indifferent to Western liberal society, at worst hostile to it.
They are the people the West keeps making excuses for because to criticize Islam as savage and intolerant would be Islamophobia.

I merely said the identity of those who hate the Jews there would changed.

Sorry Norman, I don’t think Europe is prepared to learn a lesson. Business as usual. If the Muslim invasion isn’t enough to getr Europeans to resist, the mere killing of 140 or so Parisians wont matter.

Same goes for my life in the Ghetto or “depressed areas” – rooming houses, minimum wage jobs etc when I was poor for a long time – it’s the same thing, the way Unis are dominated and even worse – adding the criminal element of Muslim Gangs. Survival at the basic minimum requires extreme vigilance and resourcefulness – it’s very fragile especially with constant exposure to the bottom level violence of humans an minimal protection from it and an influx of a repressive culture (which is also poor) into that minimum survival environment would most probably be untenable and terminal ie death provoking.
