Peloni: The failure to implement judicial reform is the most vital failure of the present and past govts in Israel. The preservation of this juristic status quo led to October 7, delayed the govt’s response to October 7, and has crippled the attempt to prevent another October 7. As I said even before the previous election, judicial reform will succeed, either in this govt or in the next, because it is a grass roots movement which has real practical needs for the safety, security and future of the Israeli nation.
