Consider the recent comments of U.S. Senator Mark Warner, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, who said that “there was no imminent threat to the United States of America by the Iranians.”
This statement was meant to legitimize the Ayatollahs, who just murdered 36,000 innocent, unarmed Iranians busy demonstrating the failed state. Warner and the Democrats were even more interested in delegitimizing the President and the war effort. To achieve his ends kneecapping the United States with his fellow America-haters, Warner ignored nearly half a century of history. Does Warner not remember 1979 when 66 American diplomats were blindfolded, beaten, and held hostage for over a year after the Iranians invaded the American Embassy?
Does he not remember Beirut when Iranians murdered over 280 US Marines? Does he not remember that these attacks were followed with another half century of attacks against America and American interests?
Does Warner not know the Revolutionary Guard has built a network of terror proxies stretching from Lebanon to Yemen. That it has destabilized Iraq, fueled the Syrian civil war, armed Hezbollah and Hamas, and threatened the shipping lanes through which much of the world’s energy supply travels?
