Which country is the staunchest ally of the US? Is it Britain, Canada, or Australia? No, its Israel! First of all, none of those three English-speaking countries have a strong military, especially the latter two.

Britain, which was Americas greatest ally during WW2, has diminished itself by its immigration policies. These have led to the diminution of its core Anglo-Saxon population and the rise of its Muslim population, leaving Britain with no stomach to fight against the encroaching threat from Iran. Besides these three, Japan has also proven itself to be useless as an ally. Are not all of these countries, and many others dependent on free trade through the Straits of Hormuz? And why arent the many other countries which rely on an unobstructed passage from the Arabian Sea to the Gulf of Iran joining US and Israeli efforts to unblock it?

The immigration of religious Muslims who decline to assimilate has irreparably changed many countries, such as Britain, Canada, and Australia. This is a new era where Americas former allies are no longer its stalwart allies. They rely on the US to protect a most important international sea lane, which ironically is much more significant for Europeans than for Americans. The fact is that some of Americas allies are afraid to take any action which might alienate their Muslim populations.

Israel has stepped up to be Americas partner in fighting Irans Islamist expansion, which is a threat to all democratic countries. Yet, this has convinced some to argue that Israel has maneuvered the US into an armed confrontation with Iran. To the contrary, America itself opposes any country which aims to defeat or usurp its position. Washington doesnt depend on any foreign government to urge it to defend its position as the world leader.

In 1992, while addressing Israels Knesset as a Knesset representative, Bibi Netanyahu sounded the alarm that Tehran is only years away from acquiring a nuclear bomb. Within three to five years, we can assume that Iran will become autonomous in its ability to develop and produce a nuclear bomb,Netanyayu had said. While that may have been hyperbole, Bibis warning was the first and most urgent call to stop Irans drive to develop nuclear weapons. But it wasnt until President Trumps second term (34 years later) that this admonition moved the worlds strongest nation to act against Iran.

Some might think that Iran could defeat – in one way or another – the US. Iran is an advanced nation of 90 million people, some 20% of whom are Islamists intent on spreading Islam throughout the West. Among them are many very intelligent people. Irans main impediments to its mission of world hegemony are, number 1 – America, and number 2- Israel. Right now it is putting up a very strong fight against both of its two arch-enemies.

People once thought that the US is protected from enemies by the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, but that 20th century argument no longer holds. Since the Islamist revolution in 1979, Iran is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Americans. Not only can China and Russia attack the US with missiles, Iran is capable now, or soon will be, able to achieve that goal. To defeat Iran takes a very strong offensive posture, one that Americas traditional allies seem unable to manage. President Trump ordered the American military to join with Israel to defeat Iran and its numerous allies. The US and Israel are diminishing Irans military clout, not only in nearby international waters but in its neighborhood, which includes Israel. Detractors of Israel should be thankful that America has one stalwart, powerful ally – Israel – that is battling alongside it in the fight against radical Islam.

Some say Israel is the tail wagging the dogin regards to American warring against Iran. Thats false. The US has many reasons to want to unseat the jihadist Iranian government. Ever since the 1979 revolution in Iran, the mullahs have chanted: Death to America! Death to Israel!President Trump didnt need Israel to warn of the Iranian danger to its position in the Middle East and throughout the world. Having Israel partner with it to defeat Iran is a welcome addition to Americas arsenal, especially when its traditional allies are all but sitting on the sidelines.

NOTE: President Reagan continued to supply Iran – already recognized as a terror state – with American weapons.

Presidents George Bush and Bill Clinton had frosty relationships with the terror state, but did nothing substantial to counter it.

President George W Bush called for uprisings and regime change in Iran.

President Obama initiated a nuclear deal which didnt stop Irans support for its terrorist proxies and oked nukes after 15 years. Under the deal, the mullahs gained access to $150 billion which had been frozen to impede its nuclear program.

President Biden paid Iran $6 billion to free five American hostages. He also famously told Iran: Dont

President Trump joined with Israel to depose the terrorist regime.
