Peloni: It is interesting to see how “Peace in Our Time” keeps changing from a very bad deal to an even worse very bad deal. The refusal to allow an end to the war in Gaza has now led to the capitulation on the very point on which the war in Gaza was begun: the elimination of Hamas as an armed and ruling entity. While funding of Iran has resumed at an exponential pace, Washington’s new policy betrayal in Gaza would leave the same butchers of October 7 in control there, and would allow the entire fiasco leading upto October 7 to play out all over again. Tolerating enemies capable of making war on the Israeli people is what led to October 7. This insanity must not be allowed to continue. The Old Conceptzia must finally be ended, and Washington must be reminded of the commitments which it agreed to as prerequisites in its own stated plans for Gaza which included the elimination of Hamas if it did not disarm within 36hrs. Well, its been 8 months since that deadline expired and Washington’s Peace Processors have come to the conclusion that the quintessential element of the 20 Point plan should be ignored so as to not spoil the ruse of having once again achieved Peace in the Middle East. Netanyahu must stand firm in opposing this outrageous proposal which once again places the whims of the Peace Processors far above the security demands of the Israeli people.

Israeli journalists Elior Levy and RoiKais released a report detailing a requested change in the framework of Trump’s 20 Point Plan which is now enshrined in UN Security Resolution 2803. The requested changes include the following proposals for Israel, Hamas and the Technocratic govt in Gaza:
Requirements for Israel
- Allow infrastructure projects (water, electricity, and other essential services) in designated areas.
- Commit to transferring the population from areas under Hamas control to areas administered by the Peace Council by the end of 2026.
- Permit construction of a central headquarters for the technocratic government.
- Approve construction of bases for the international stabilization force.
- Allow rehabilitation of the European Hospital, including:
- Entry of construction materials.
- Entry of medical equipment and laboratories.
- Creation of an access corridor from Hamas-controlled areas.
- Transfer Palestinian Authority tax revenues related to Gaza to the Peace Council.
- Begin recognizing the technocratic committee/government as the governing authority in Gaza.
- Allow technocratic government officials to travel freely into and out of Gaza for official business.
- Transfer control of the Palestinian side of the Kerem Shalom and Rafah crossings to the technocratic government.
- Permit fuel distribution through the technocratic government.
- Allow digital payment systems to operate through the technocratic government to reduce Hamas’s ability to collect taxes.
- Permit operation of a 4G cellular network in Gaza.
- Grant conditional amnesty to individuals who surrender their weapons and commit to peace.
Requirements or Expectations for Hamas
The document, as described, does not require Hamas to disarm before implementation begins. Instead, it establishes indirect expectations:
- Hamas is expected (but not required) to disarm.
- Individuals affiliated with Hamas (or others) may receive conditional amnesty if they surrender their weapons and commit to peace.
- Hamas’s taxation and revenue collection are to be undermined by shifting fuel distribution and digital payments to the technocratic government.
- The Peace Council is tasked with replacing Hamas’s governing functions, even if Hamas refuses to relinquish its weapons.
Commitments by the Peace Council / Technocratic Government
In return, the proposed governing authority would:
- Manage the supply chain.
- Control fuel distribution.
- Administer payments.
- Significantly reduce Hamas’s taxation and revenue collection.
- Maintain security and public order through an international stabilization force.
- Work with an unarmed Palestinian civil guard.
- Assume responsibility for border crossings on the Palestinian side.
- Function as the recognized governing authority in Gaza.

There could be a nice loophole there. Hamas does not have to drop their weapons, but Israel is allowed to engage in hunting parties.
Suggest Israel offer big game hunting trips, whereby hunters buy “kill tags” which each one allows them to hunt and kill an armed Hamas member.
@Donaldo Donald Trump’s “nice” forever war proposal for Israel.
