Exposure: Is the German government *publicly* interfering in Israel’s elections?

The truth is, I’ve reviewed the attached publications and others repeatedly to make sure I’m not hallucinating. The German Embassy—yes, the actual embassy of a “friendly” country—is hosting a conference entirely dedicated to bolstering the left in the upcoming elections?

* The conference was organized at the initiative of the German Friedrich Ebert Foundation, which just happens to also be a partner of the New Israel Fund.

* The person leading the conference is a left-wing activist named Vicky Idzinsky, who just happens to be the founder of “Our Israel”—a left-wing group targeting the Russian-speaking audience in Israel, which also—somehow coincidentally—is supported by the New Israel Fund.

* Idzinsky also serves on the board of the “Women’s Lobby,” and is active in the Geneva Initiative and “Women Wage Peace”—three organizations that, in a truly miraculous twist, are also supported by the New Israel Fund.

*Idzinsky has been actively working for years to increase the voting rate of Russian speakers for left-wing parties.

How is the Israeli government just moving on from a public intervention by a foreign government in its internal affairs?
I’d appreciate your response  @gidonsaar @AmichaiChikli
