Abbas advisor endorses Oct. 7 as ‘legal resistance, jihad, & self-defense’

Here is significant insight into what the Palestinian Authority is really about. “Abbas’ advisor: Oct. 7 war was “legal resistance, Jihad, and self-defense,” by Nan Jacques Zilberdik, Palestinian Media Watch, September 29, 2026:

Palestinian Authority Chairman Abbas’ advisor, Mahmoud Al-Habbash, endorses Hamas’ Oct. 7 atrocities and launch of war against Israel as “legal resistance, Jihad, and self-defense.” Al-Habbash has no problem with the massacre, the torture, the rape, the burning alive, and the murder of over 1,200 Israelis. That is all “a legal right” and “a sacred duty” because it is “resistance” to Israel. The only problem with Oct. 7 was the disastrous outcome for the Gazan population, which Al-Habbash calls “a sin:”

Mahmoud Al-Habbash: “Resistance to occupation by all means is a legal right and a sacred duty, there is no dispute about that. When I express opposition to October 7, I am not opposing the principle of resistance (i.e., terror), the principle of Jihad, the legality of Jihad, or the legality of resistance.No, no, they are legal. Fighting the enemy (i.e., Israel) is legal, self-defense is legal, and defending the homeland is legal. But when I look at the big picture, I need to look at the consequences, at the outcome. What are the consequences of October 7 now?”… 

Lack of information is not what the problem is for woke Westerners. There is too much of it on the web to claim ignorance. Instead, the anti-Israel woke are willfully blind, useful idiots with emotional and personal agendas. They appear to lack the wherewithal to confront their own personal lives, let alone the truth, as they are oftentimes even confused about what a biological man and a woman are. So they fantasize about what their version of a victim represents. The BLM movement and Palestinian “resistance” movement  align with their personal perception of victimhood and boost their false sense of purpose in fighting for the perceived underdog.

Between the rising Muslim population and the increasingly unstable left, leftist politicians simply appease their support base for votes, while the media follows their gravy train. As a result: Israel remains the “bad guy” while the tiny Jewish nation fights for its very existence, while antisemitism rises globally, Islam is embraced as a religion of peace without question, the Muslim population rises via lax immigration, the “globalize the intifada” movement contaminates the West, and ultimately, the West declines.

The propaganda against Israel is a symptom of a global problem and reckless politicians refuse to address it. Canada for instance takes pride in its “positive relations” with the Palestinian Authority and its donation to “Palestine” is up to over $700,000,000 of taxpayer money — including unwilling Jewish taxpayers, forcibly donating to the demise of their own fellow Jews in Israel.

The official political maps used by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to depict “Palestine,” erases Israel from the map. So is this what Canada and other Western countries who have declared “Palestine” as a state endorse? If not, then where are the borders of Palestine? A country cannot be declared without borders.

The Palestinian Authority, Muslim Brotherhood offshoot Hamas and ISIS are equally murderous, anti-Israel, Islamic supremacist, jihadi death cults who deem “martyrdom” the highest calling in keeping with the Sharia.

I asked Allah’s Apostle, “O Allah’s Apostle! What is the best deed?” He replied, “To offer the prayers at their early stated fixed times.” I asked, “What is next in goodness?” He replied, “To be good and dutiful to your parents.” I further asked, what is next in goodness?” He replied, “To participate in Jihad in Allah’s Cause.” I did not ask Allah’s Apostle anymore and if I had asked him more, he would have told me more. A man asks Muhammad “which of men is the best?” Muhammad replies that it is the man who is always ready for battle and flies into it “seeking death at places where it can be expected.”  Sahih Muslim 20:4655
