PELONI: Andrew Benjamin provides an important addition to the Bob Goldberg analysis:
If the following will not prove that progressive Jews are literally dysfunctional clowns and their worst enemies, and always have been totally clueless having learned nothing from history, nothing will… Nothing sells as well as a lie one sells to oneself… And they’re still trying to sell the lie to the rest of us… — Andrew Benjamin
Jewish leaders here and in Israel are convinced that it can blunt the reorganization of politics against the Jews with better PR

Jews keep telling themselves that the threat to Jewish existence can be avoided by staying loved.
After the election, the pro-Israel establishment declared that the center held. Josh Kraushaar said the progressive insurgency failed to take Congress, and red-state moderates diluted the radicals in Schumer’s caucus. JD Vance, whose America First skepticism had rattled donors, came out bloodied, blaming the losses on the Iran war.
The advice that followed was familiar. Play to the middle. Prefer quiet diplomacy to naming and shaming. Cultivate the freshmen. Trust the system.
Meanwhile, Hasan Piker closed his election-night stream:
“It’s just beginning. The tears of our enemies will be the delicious nectar of victory. And we haven’t seen them cry yet.”
He wasn’t only cheering Abdul El-Sayed’s Senate win in Michigan. 35+ freshmen who bring 100-plus, willing to use sanctions to force Israel to accept a Palestinian state while giving Palestinians everything they can expect, including increased UNRWA funding and the elimination of the Taylor Force Act.
That doesn’t include The DSA won 106 of the 161 races it contested or backed. It won them on school boards, city councils, rent boards, district attorney’s offices, and state legislatures
And yet, Jewish elites are telling themselves that all is well. That the anti-semitism which What Ruth Wisse defines as the organization of politics against the Jews is now central to the political power of a movement that the brilliant and persistent Asra Nomani calls “The Woke Army,” or the Red-Green alliance of Western Marxism and Islamist rejectionism. At home, it seeks to replace markets, deterrence, borders, and policing with redistribution and ideological discipline. The idea driving its mobilization is the elimination of Israel as a Jewish state. Settlements and borders are beside the point.
This belief that you can win the love of those who regard your existence as the original sin is a version of shtadlanut. The court Jew stood in the prince’s antechamber with a purse and a petition, begging for protection and promising that his people would stay quiet.
