Peloni: Recall that the PA and its associated organizations, including the PA Police, are an American equity, one which is held in such high esteem that even the stigmatism of it institutionally associated with and rewarding terrorism has failed to lead to the US disowning this Fatah operated sham facade as Israel’s peace partner. Even today, the US is operating under an understanding that their PA equity will be miraculously refashioned into something which can be relied upon to manage what will come to be in Gaza, and no doubt will also be included in America’s never forgotten and always resuscitating vehicle of terror Two State Solution. The Americans needs to take responsibility for the pernicious pretense that their PA behemoth is anything more than a weaponize tool intended to seek the destruction of Israel, and the slaughter and enslavement of its people. This organization, despite it being owned by the US, is incapable of any meaningful reform for the very reason that it was fashioned from the steel of a terrorist organization which has only had one goal in mind, and that goal is not, and could never be, the pursuit of peace or anything slightly resembling it. Til such an honest evaluation of the PA which America has developed over the years is adopted, such tragedies as described below will continue, because war, not peace, is the purpose of the PA, and any attempt to fashion this terror entity towards fitting a peace sized hole will only demonstrate the facetious and false nature of those who would tolerate, much less advocate, for such an outrageously malicious, and all too obvious, fabrication.

Under the Oslo Accords, the Palestinian Authority made a solemn commitment to help the IDF suppress terrorists in Judea and Samaria (a/k/a the West Bank). These turn out to be promises more honored in the breach than in the observance. Again and again, Palestinian Authority policemen have not only refused to fight the terrorists plaguing Israelis; in many cases, they have turned out to be terrorists themselves. The latest example is Younes Walid Shtayyeh, a PA police officer who was shot dead after he fired at Israeli special forces. Far from apologizing for one of their policemen trying to murder Israelis, the Palestinian Authority has hailed Shtayyeh as a brave “martyr.” More on the policeman-terrorist can be found here: “Palestinian Authority police commit another terrorist attack,” by Nan Jacques Zilberdik, Palestinian Media Watch, January 5, 2026:
When Palestinian Authority police officer and Fatah’s Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades terror-wing member Younes Walid Shtayyeh shot at Israeli special forces and wounded an Israeli soldier near Nablus, it was not cause for self-scrutiny on behalf of the PA police. On the contrary, two days later, PA Police Commissioner Allam Al-Saqqa elaborated on the “professional police establishment, which acts as a law enforcement body.” He stressed that the PA police force “maintains security, public order, and morality,” a message the official PA TV reporter summarized by claiming the PA police are “loyal… to the law:”
PA Police Commissioner Allam Al-Saqqa: “[Our progress] emphasizes the integrative relationship between the State Prosecutor’s Office and the [PA] Police, through participation in enforcing justice in the criminal field, which is being protected by a skilled State Prosecutor’s Office that is striving to strengthen the rule of law, alongside a professional police establishment, which acts as a law enforcement body, operates in coordination with the State Prosecutor’s Office and under its supervision, maintains security, public order and morality, and fulfills its role within the framework of the law” …
Official PA TV reporter: “It was emphasized that the work does not deviate from the compass of protecting rights and freedoms, and that the loyalty of police employees and State Prosecutor’s Office employees to the mission of the law will remain the first guarantee for the Palestinian civilian that they will continue to be a source of security and a foundation for the [Palestinian] state.”
[Official PA TV News, Nov. 22, 2025]
According to PA ideology, there really is no contradiction between trying to murder Israelis and maintaining the law. Fatah and Hamas alike glorified the “operation” of police terrorist Shtayyeh, and after he was killed by Israeli forces, social media overflowed with praise for him….
No one in the Palestinian Authority apologized to Israel for yet another of its policeman turning out to be a terrorist. Nor did the Palestinian Authority at least have the decency to keep quiet about Younes Walid Shtayyeh. Instead, it hailed him as a hero, whom — according to his father — Allah himself had chosen to be a “martyr.” The Al-Quds Brigade, to which the “policeman” Shtayyeh also belonged, was full of admiration. And it went out of its way to note online that Shtayyeh was a “policeman” in the Palestinian Authority — the clear implication being that whatever the Palestinians pretend to the gullible Israelis, no matter what security role a Palestinian may pretend to take on, in the end they are all determined to kill the Zionists and, ideally, to become “martyrs” by murdering Israelis and then dying for the cause.
Remember, Walid Younes Shtayyeh was a policeman working for the Palestinian Authority, the pseudo-government that the world has been inveigled into believing is a trustworthy “partner for peace” with Israel. For attempting to murder Israelis, and being killed in the process, he has been hailed by the Palestinians as a “hero” and “martyr.” What more need be said?

We have been watching this charade ever since the US/CIA built the “Palestinian” police force and trained them in their own procedures and weaponry. It was immediately obvious to one and all that these so-called trained police were nothing more than terrorists in disguise and the number of times they actually came to the aid of Israelis under any circumstances can be counted on one hand. We were further surprised to see that the US/CIA insisted on providing these terrorists with armored personnel carriers with heavy grade machine guns etc.
What did they think these terrorists would do with the nice equipment? Certainly not keep the peace, which has been obvious for years now. They may have actually caught the one or other terrorist, but only because it suited their own narrative. Sure, terrorists have some kind of loyalty but not to the PA!
Obviously, the US/CIA know who they trained but this situation has probably gotten completely out of control by now. They could provide lists of the “policemen” they trained but it has likely gone much further than that.
About the only thing Israel can do is to order them to be shot on sight if they are in any way intimidating anyone at all. Of course, the uproar in the UN and the ICC and ICJ would immediately isolate Israel from any international contact since they all demand and require the two state solution, Israel be damned.
Am Israel Chai!!
