What he fails to address is that this is the very opposite of what Netanyahu has pledged, and is still holding firm, on accomplishing. The conflict on this point exists between the upper eschelons of the Israeli military brass and the Americans on one side, with Israel’s political govt and the Israeli people on the other, making for an interesting segue into 2026.
