This was a great speech, but still not as strong as we should be hearing. She made a good case for the necessity of naming the evil so that it could be combated. I agree. I have agreed ever since the US was attacked on 9/11/2001. If you recall, at that time, Bush, the younger, declared “war on terror”. What a “chicken shit” thing to say. Everyone knew who and what the enemy was, yet he was afraid, down to marrow, to say the “I” word…ISLAM. Since then it has been one terror attack after another, one war after another, all in the name of Islam. Until we find the courage to say it out loud, and then declare that it must be EXPELLED from all freedom-loving countries, NOTHING is going to change. So, although this was a good speech, what I would have preferred to hear is a clear statement that this is an evil ideology, and that it needs to be removed from Australian soil, American soil, British soil, and European soil. It is now nearly too late to save ourselves. We had better stop with all the mealy-mouthed rhetoric and get down to the serious business of saving our nations, our culture, and our people.
