Peloni: The path towards peace will be best served by Israel recognizing and focusing on its own strengths. Eliminating foreign capacities while maximizing Israeli strength and willingness to employ that strength with devastating efficiency is what will bring peace. Having cooperative partners in power throughout the region within whom to effect such a peace is likewise necessary, as recognizing that Muslim Brotherhood idealogues will never accept peace under any circumstance other than that of a hudna, making such negotiations a fool’s errand as Sha’i explains below.

The list of peace plans for the Jewish nation in the land they brought back to life is lengthy. The first was 1922’s League of Nations’ Palestine Mandate that twice referenced the “historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine” as the “grounds for reconstituting their national home in that country.”
It referred to the Arabic language, but otherwise said nothing of “Arabs” and nothing of any “Palestinians” having an historical connection to Palestine.
The document also defined the future boundaries of Palestine for the Jews as all the land westward from the Jordan River to the sea. (By then, it was understood within the League that what was known as Eastern Palestine a.k.a. Trans-Jordan, would belong to the Arabs.)
In 1937, there was the Peel Plan that envisioned an Arab state including Judea, Samaria and the entirety of the Negev; also a small international zone for Jerusalem extending to Jaffa, and a Jewish state mostly in the north. This plan foresaw a majority in it of 313,000 Jews but also an Arab minority in it of 300,000. (Some Jewish state.) This plan was rejected by both Zionists and Arabs.
In 1947, the U.N. Partition Plan envisioned a Jewish state not including Judea and Samaria, which was marked as the nameless “Arab State,” to which plan the Jews responded affirmatively, versus the Arabs who responded by launching five national armies at the Jews to destroy their state it and loot all the wealth the Zionists had created. The war lasted a year and halted in a cease-fire but no peace.
In 1993, there was the Oslo peace plan of the Marxists Rabin and Peres, a bloody fiasco.
In 2020, Donald Trump trumpeted the “Deal of the Century!” that also went nowhere.
And in each attempt, there has been an unspoken goal of peace between the Jews and the Arabs, producing a cooperative, neighborly relationship that both sides could live with.
But none of these plans ever succeeded because they all rested on the inarticulate and baseless assumption that both sides wanted peace with the other side, when that is demonstrably false. Yes, the Israeli side wanted peace, but the Muslims wanted to exterminate Jewish freedom and not live in peace with Jews next door in their own independent state.
As King Solomon once judged between two women claiming motherhood of the same baby and learned there are some things not amenable to dividing or compromise, in this case, the Arabs’ desire to obliterate Jewish independence, and over that there can be no compromise. When only one side wants peace, it is unattainable and therefore an unrealistic goal.
Likewise, the current peace fantasy of Donald Trump, the famous billionaire real estate mogul and his millionaire lieutenants, fellow developers Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner, the famous architect of the Deal of the Century folly.
Their plan envisions an international effort of numerous nations who also want to see peace between Israel and the people in Gaza, when there is no evidence other than Trump’s “sales pitch” claiming numerous nations care about that at all.
The Jews were the people who gave the world the concept of a messiah and a Messianic Age of peace, and it is no accident, however ironic, that it has been Israel’s post-religious Left who have mocked religious Jews as messianic for believing the 1967 war was the onset of that age — when the Oslo abomination in 1993 on the White House Lawn exposed the Left as the true messianic dreamers when those two Marxists, Rabin and Peres, believed the two blood-thirsty ghouls with whom they shook their bloody hands, Arafat and Abbas, wanted peace too.
Those two nominal Jews believed those two antediluvian mass murdering Arabs were now opposed to terrorism against Israel and would prevent Hamas from continuing with its terrorism, when those two as Arabs had no conception of terrorism. Few Arabs do.
War, for such uncivilized retards means killing the enemy’s people, making no distinction between enemy soldiers in uniform on a battlefield, and enemy civilians in their homefront lives: women, children, the elderly, infants in baby carriages; school children in their classrooms; bombing the enemy in their fast-food restaurants. It is a fact that what civilized people call terrorism, these barbarians call a “military operation.”
In effect, every peace plan has been an attempt at behavior modification; give the Arabs something that will end their hostility to Jews living in their own state free of their historic “oppression and humiliation” under Islam, as called for in the Koran, and peace will descend on the Holy Land.
Instead, the Jewish state might jettison this impossible dream of transforming the hearts, minds and beliefs of these backward Muslims and strive for Israeli rights. As in the 1960s in the U.S., when American Negroes demanded their “civil rights,” so Israelis might also fight for their rights to all the land from “the River to the Sea” as validated in the U.N. Charter of 1945 that incorporated the Palestine Mandate.
This also includes the Gaza Strip, and as the rightful landlord of that real estate, Israel has the right to evict unwanted tenants there, especially when they are a proven horde of homicidal Jew-hating maniacs, monsters whose fanatical, religious hatred of Jews knows no limits. Israel is under no obligation to tolerate anymore, as it has for 77 years, the presence next door of this sadistic society of Neanderthals.
In the 1920s, it was politically correct in the best circles to smile on the policy of getting millions of Turks and Greeks to make peace by uprooting themselves and moving to their respective ancient homelands, and the man who designed that population transfer, Fridtjof Nansen, won the Nobel Prize for Peace for it.
In 1947, the world also accepted the creation of Pakistan that resulted in a similar uprooting of millions of Hindus and Muslims for the sake of peace in the Indian subcontinent.
An Israel demanding the Muslims in Gaza to go live someplace else would, for sure, trigger World Anti-Jewry into shrieking at the uprooting of these putatively primeval, indigenous “Palestinians” by the evil Jews from their allegedly archaic homeland, to which Israel might reply –as never before — that there is nothing “Palestinian” about these people; that there was no “Palestinian” people in Eretz Yisrael when the Jews began restoring the land to habitability; that unlike the industrious Zionists, no “Palestinians” ever built anything in the Holy Land; that these imposters have no valid right to anything in Palestine.
Israel needs to re-discover the classic Jewish idea that the Messianic Age is centuries in the future, instead of pining for “Peace Now,” when Arab-Muslim butchers “do tshuva,” spiritually mutate and finally respect the Jews’ right to live apart from Muslims who have “oppressed and humiliated” them every day, as per instructions in the Koran, for the last fourteen centuries.
