Peloni: It is interesting to see much of what was once already released long ago being treated as all new material, it will be interesting to see how these new revelations are handled, noting that crimes ignored are not criminal at all. Prosecutions and convictions of those in the intel community and media, along with those in the DOJ and political realm will demonstrate that justice has returned to Washington, and nothing less than this will do.

Legacy media’s biggest players — NBC News, The New York Times (NYT) and others — appear to be in full damage control mode over the “Russiagate” revelations Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard unveiled Friday.
NBC accused Gabbard of trying to “rewrite the history of the 2016 election” in a Tuesday headline.
The lede of NBC’s story accuses Gabbard and President Donald Trump of “seeking to reverse an eight-year-old assessment that Russia waged an information war to boost Trump’s candidacy.”
The story touts conclusions made by the infamous 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) and by a 2020 Senate investigation which found that Russian President Vladimir Putin attempted to influence the 2016 U.S. election and damage Hilary Clinton’s candidacy
Those emails, Gabbard claimed in a Friday tweet, show that Obama’s own intelligence chiefs found that Russia “‘did not impact recent U.S. election results’ by conducting cyber attacks on infrastructure.”
However, despite accusing Gabbard of attempting to rewrite history, NBC does not cite the Obama administration intelligence agency emails she declassified until deep into the story. The outlet cites a talking point prepared for the Obama administration’s DNI, James Clapper, which was released by Gabbard Friday.
NBC also made no mention of a memo sent from a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official to Obama’s DNI, James Clapper, which read, “The thrust of the analysis is that there is no indication of a Russian threat to directly manipulate the actual vote count through cyber means,” according to documents Gabbard declassified.
Similarly, The Washington Post’s fact checker Glenn Kessler claimed Gabbard’s accusations were “based on thin gruel.”
In his fact-check, Kessler raised doubts about claims that the infamous and now discredited Steele Dossier influenced the 2017 ICA.
“Calling it ‘a factor’ in the ICA is a stretch,” Kessler wrote.
Then-Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director John Brennan was so insistent on including the Dossier in the ICA that he apparently defied warnings from numerous agency officials who asserted its inclusion could compromise the assessment’s integrity, according to a 2025 CIA review of the ICA, commissioned by CIA Director John Ratcliffe.
“Despite these objections, Brennan showed a preference for narrative consistency over analytical soundness,” the CIA memo stated.
National Public Radio (NPR) and the NYT also covered the Gabbard documents critically, both joining NBC and the Washington Post in burying a key detail from her revelations.
Gabbard’s documents show Obama cancelled a December 9, 2016, Presidential Daily Brief (PBD), which then-President-elect Donald Trump would have seen.
Trump’s former National Security Adviser, Michael Flynn, previously told journalist Matt Taibbi that Flynn “would have seen” the PBD if published.
Trump had previously received a PBD in November 2016, according to CNN.

The basic point here is that wokeness is not going to be easily deconstructed. There are carefully contrived pillars that support the woke mind.
Cultural relativism and moral relativism make ti very difficult for the woke to be able to consider any other perspective than the one into which they have been indoctrinated.
The woke are unable to asses people from different religions or cultures because they have been taught that it is racist to do so. Similarly, they are taught that it is virtuous to support others who are in a minority, regardless of whether that minority is committing crimes on a regular basis. They are taught to ignore the crimes and see only that they are equal cultures to our own and we cannot criticize them.
Thus it is virtuous for them to support and protect jihadist Muslims, even when these jihadist Muslims support killing them as infidels. The will continue to feel virtuous as the Muslim is carrying them off to hide them as a hostage deep underground as a prelude to killing them.
What they cannot conceive of is to criticize these “oppressed” minorities as that would make them racist, something utterly abhorrent to them.
I do not know how the Trump Administration is going to help these young people begin to consider another perspective, when their wokeness has been carefully mapped out to preclude their ability to apply objective judgment, discernment, critical thinking, etc. These are skills that have been carefully aborted in their development by the system of wokeness.
As I see it, these revelations have not moved the needle in terms of helping to expose the truth about the destructiveness of the Obama Administration and the destructive roles played by Bill and Hillary Clinton. The MSM narrative is going to be experienced as reassuring all their woke audience that there is really nothing to see here: it’s just bad orange man trying to rewrite history so that his “crimes” are hidden by blaming the blameless Obama, Brennan, Comey, McCabe, Susan Rice etc.
The woke crowd has taken over not just mainstream news media, but Hollywood and beyond, so that trying to even find new video content is a fool’s errand. All the latest videos on offer show such a stereotyped and hackneyed set of themes: multiracial families pretending to be no different from all white or all black families, as if creating film content with multiracial families shows how virtuous the content creators and actors are. In fact, the unwoke find it repeatedly disingenuous and basically unbelievable. Film stories based upon the required number of non-white persons appear to be trying too hard to create a world in the mind’s of those needing to virtue signal, instead of narratives and characters that feel real, that we can relate to.
That is because there are just not that many multiracial families out there. There are a few, but they don’t represent the mainstream of America.
Of what use is it to showcase the 1% of America and pretend to be a narrative on American life, such as “presumed Innocent.” These prosecutorial dramas are about real criminals and how they are prosecuted, but Hollywood wants to make them about a multiracial family in which the white husband has extramarital sex with a white fellow prosecutor, and he is then targeted for destruction by his rivals in the department when she is found dead. What starts out as an interesting drama about a particular crime is now in ugly territory made up from the fantasies of the woke, about a white husband who behaves hurtfully towards his black wife.
