Jews are the victims of the majority of hate crimes, especially religious hate crimes, in New York City.
Jews were targeted in 345 hate crimes in New York City last year, more than all other minority groups combined, according to NYPD data released on Monday.
Anti-Jewish crimes accounted for 54% of the 641 total hate crimes reported to police in the city in 2024, the data showed.
Since the beginning of the year, 74 (60%) of the 123 recorded hate crimes have targeted Jews, according to the NYPD.
Zohran Mamdani, the radical Islamist and leftist terrorist supporter, has proposed that the NYPD not respond to hate crimes, instead that they be handled by social workers.
This is not simply police defunding, rather this shifts resources away from responding to attacks on Jews, moves away from having law enforcement deal with those attacks and instead has his political leftist allies ‘deal’ with them by burying them.
This isn’t just a pro-crime policy. It’s strategically calculated to protect members of his community who attack Jews while exposing Jews to religiously motivated assaults.

A free for all or Biblical, “War of the shepherds,” will do no good for anybody least of all New York as a whole. Socialworkers have the reputation of an overworked joke that does not achieve too much.
Look forward to a big exodus from New York City itself with increased aliyah as a side dish. Eventually this will accelerate the local “doughnut effect” on NY City, cut property values and tax returns and lead to more tension in ex-Brit Palestine which will lead to Iran advancing its revanche war – so another 1948.

Germany kicked Jews only for the rest of Eastern Europe to kick out the Volksdeutsch in 1945 – 12 million ethnic Germans from Poland, the Sudetenland, the Balts, Transylvanian Saxons and Volga Germans. In 1970’s there were still 100 000 Jews in Iran. Now there are 10 000 and Iran is NOT better off but about to suffer thirst. As the USSR crumpled the Jews fled – many musicians, medics and engineers. Russia is poorer and has to hire N.Korean mercenaries!
At the moment most of the wars in this 2020’s decade are along the seam between the Moslem World and the rest and the Moslem World as it gets touchier and more policed by Islamists will revert to Ottoman stagnation and authoritarian Janissary palace coups on precedent of what has happened since the Arab World threw out its Jews in and since 1948. Pakistan is another “shadow before”. It seceded from Indian independence; became a basket case; is in trouble with all its neighbours; and is about the worst advert for a Moslem state going.
And yet, a significant percentage of Jews in NY have, in a recent poll, indicated their plan to vote for him.
These are descendants of those Israelites who preferred to return to bondage in Egypt.
Corollary – open season on Muslims.
