Peloni: The words which should be used is “Unconditional Surrender”, and this policy should not be watered down with calls for negotiations.
With ceasefire talks at a standstill, Israel prepares to escalate military action in pursuit of decisive victory.
Israfan | August 4, 2025
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is now directing the Israeli military to intensify its campaign in Gaza, shifting focus toward achieving a decisive military victory over Hamas as the path to securing the release of the remaining Israeli hostages. The move comes after ceasefire talks broke down and hopes for a negotiated solution dwindled.
According to a senior Israeli source close to the prime minister, Netanyahu no longer believes Hamas is negotiating in good faith. “He is pushing for the release of hostages through decisive military victory,” the source said, adding that Israel is coordinating closely with the Trump administration, which has supported a full-scale deal to return all captives living and deceased.
The plan includes expanding IDF operations while increasing the delivery of humanitarian aid to areas outside Hamas control. This dual-track approach aims to further isolate the terror organization, weaken its hold on the civilian population, and apply maximum pressure for the hostages’ release.
The decision follows Netanyahu’s scathing criticism of Hamas in a televised address, where he denounced the group for starving Israeli hostages and weaponizing their suffering in propaganda. It also comes days after heartbreaking videos surfaced of captives in deteriorating health, prompting nationwide anguish and international outcry.
Meanwhile, US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff offered a more optimistic tone during remarks to families gathered at Hostages Square in Tel Aviv. “A majority of Israelis want the hostages at home, and a majority of Gaza’s public wants the return of hostages because they want the rehabilitation of the Strip,” Witkoff said, assuring them that “the plan is not to expand the war, but to end it.”
Yet Netanyahu appears convinced that only through Hamas’s collapse can true peace and justice be achieved. His government’s current strategy is one of sustained pressure militarily, diplomatically, and strategically.
As of now, around 50 hostages remain in Gaza. With negotiations stalled and global patience thinning, Israel is prepared to act decisively to bring its people home and dismantle the terror machine that holds them captive.

Climate change spelling death for the Dead Sea – CGTN
Global warming, primarily through increased temperatures and reduced rainfall, is a major factor in the Dead Sea’s ongoing decline. The Dead Sea is shrinking at a rate of about one meter per year due to decreased freshwater inflow from the Jordan River and increased evaporation rates. This shrinkage has led to the formation of sinkholes, exposed shorelines, and poses a threat to the region’s ecosystem and human activities.
Here’s a more detailed look:
Impacts of Global Warming on the Dead Sea:
Reduced Freshwater Inflow:
Climate change in the Eastern Mediterranean has led to decreased rainfall and increased evaporation, significantly impacting the Jordan River’s flow into the Dead Sea.
Increased Evaporation:
Higher temperatures caused by global warming lead to increased evaporation rates from the Dead Sea’s surface, further exacerbating its shrinkage.
Shrinking Water Level:
The combined effect of reduced inflow and increased evaporation has caused the Dead Sea’s water level to drop dramatically, with some estimates showing a decline of over 3.3 feet per year.
Sinkholes:
As the Dead Sea shrinks, the receding shoreline exposes the land to erosion and the formation of sinkholes, creating dangerous hazards for people and infrastructure.
Ecological Disaster:
The shrinking Dead Sea is impacting the region’s ecosystem, with exposed shorelines, altered salinity levels, and potential threats to the unique biodiversity of the area.
Impact on Local Communities:
Farmers in the region are facing challenges due to sinkholes and reduced water availability, impacting their livelihoods and agricultural production.
Addressing the Issue:
International Cooperation:
Addressing the Dead Sea’s decline requires international cooperation and coordinated efforts to manage water resources and mitigate climate change impacts.
Sustainable Water Management:
Implementing sustainable water management practices, including reducing water consumption, promoting water conservation, and exploring alternative water sources like desalination, is crucial.
Climate Change Mitigation:
Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is essential to curb global warming and its impacts on the Dead Sea and other vulnerable regions.
Research and Monitoring:
Continued research and monitoring of the Dead Sea’s water levels, climate patterns, and ecological changes are necessary to inform effective management strategies. “
Sebastien Zorn
Netanyahu needed to have either resigned or forced to on the day after October 7
Why? Because he was the elected Prime minister and he was fully responsible for exactly the security of the people he served.
He was responsible for the continued EXISTENCE of the judiciary.
He should have been tried for THAT
The judiciary are arguably guilty as son for treason
Yet with Zorn and Peloni basically how they lead it is all Bravo Bibi
“It’s important to recognize the obstacle posed by the Deep State that Netanyahu ha had to overcome.” paraphrasing.

About time. This should have been done on Oct. 8, correction, Oct. 6. Bravo, Bibi, just the same. Incredible that the new head of the army is only grudgingly going along with it.
The total responsibility is on the Israeli leadership which is the Netanyahu coalition government. There is talk in this article about the Judiciary and the army bosses. But that is nothing but a smokescreen. The responsibility for the breakdown in October 7 ending in massacre and hostages lies with the Netanyahu clique, and israpundit top dogs are in the same clique.
On the heads of Netanyahu and on the heads of the israpundit clique, lies all of the responsibility. And on nowhere else because only they are in the position of leadership.
“And yet their policies were total failures, and gave rise to the very terror states and military threats that led to the Oct. 7th tragedy, on all fronts.”
Were these “deliberate failures” or “natural human failures”?
This, of course, should be seriously investigated once Israel has cleaned up.

The US deep state!
Very familiar.
Hamas never had the intention to free all the hostages. Never! Everybody in the whole world knows it.
