USAID – It’s Not Aid, It’s Capacity Building

Peloni:  USAID is the financial mechanism thru which international coups are financed and how US influence is wielded in nations which remain susceptible to being corrupted by foreign influence, and of course, Israel is listed to be among the nations which remain susceptible to such influence by this long financial arm of the US State Dept.

GrossIneptitude, GrossIdiocy, GrossIrresponsibility CONFIRMED!

When I wrote about this very danger almost two years ago, I was deemed too extreme by some. Perhaps now, after more than a year of war, madness and killing, and an apocalyptic regime with a Doomsday weapon in its hand looming over us all, the warning is not quite so extreme.

ANJULI PANDAVAR

In an astonishing admission, the UN’s IAEA Director General, Rafael Grossi, acknowledges his gross ineptitude, gross idiocy and gross irresponsibility, but that is not quite how he put it. His choice of words were more, shall we say, diplomatic:

A tidal change is made up of tiny drops

Peloni:  Please watch this video and share widely.  Naomi Kahn presents a review of achievements made by Regavim this past year, and the results are nothing less than shocking.  The work pursued by Regavim challenges the govt to change the paradigm on matters which are of a key existential nature to Israel’s exercise of sovereignty, and they do so while also providing the pathway by which this change might be acted upon successfully.

CULTURAL MARXISM

Morning Intelligence Report

MG Paul E Vallely, US Army (Ret)
CULTURAL MARXISM NEARLY WON THROUGH “NEWSPEAK” AND “DOUBLETHINK”

by Colonel Bill Connor (US Army-Ret)  |  12.16.2024
Guest Editorial

Over the past few weeks, America unraveled the stranglehold of woke ideology. First came the Trump victory in both the Electoral College and popular vote, while Republicans won majorities in both the House and Senate. Meanwhile, major corporations like Walmart have rolled back expensive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) departments, costing corporations millions https://www.cnn.com/2024/11/25/business/walmart-dei-rollback/index.html. At least 22 states have now mandated state colleges roll back DEI departments due primarily to the grassroots political backlash https://stateline.org/2024/06/14/backlash-against-dei-spreads-to-more-states/. The incoming administration has publicly called for an end to many of the woke policies pushed by the Biden administration, including DEI and extreme transexual policies. Polls show the substantial majority are for ending minor transgender procedures, despite previous support by the Biden administration and mainstream media https://nypost.com/2024/10/14/us-news/majority-of-voters-favor-a-federal-ban-on-transgender-procedures-for-minors/. The gains of cultural Marxism are best explained by Progressive enforcement of “Newspeak” and “Doublethink,” something we cannot tolerate.

The day after in Syria

Curb your enthusiasm

Clifford D. May | FDD | Dec 18, 2024

Following revolutions, we Americans have a touching inclination to ask: “Are the new leaders like us? Are they moderates who believe in tolerance and peaceful coexistence?”

Generally, the answer is no.

Take the revolution that just occurred in Syria. It was led by Ahmad al-Sharaa, better known by his nom de guerre, Abu Mohammad al-Jolani. He runs Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), a rebel group with roots in both al Qaeda and the Islamic State (also known as ISIS). He and HTS have been officially designated as terrorists by the U.S. government.

Should the NFL Tolerate Support for Hamas?

by Rafael Medoff

(Dr. Medoff is founding director of The David S. Wyman Institute for Holocaust Studies and author of more than 20 books about Jewish history and the Holocaust. His latest is Cartoonists Against Racism: The Secret Jewish War on Bigotry, coauthored with Craig Yoe.)

It turns out that the brutal hit resulting in the suspension of a National Football League player is not the only kind of violence the culprit embraces—he also appears to endorse Hamas violence. Is that acceptable to the NFL?

Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair has gained a reputation for dirty hits on opposing players. In this season alone, he has been fined for punching a Chicago Bears running back, fined again for flagrantly hitting a Tennessee Titans player out of bounds, and, most notoriously, delivering a vicious blow to the head of Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence. That last violation resulted in both a fine and a three-game suspension, a penalty the NFL rarely imposes.

From Israel: Takes One’s Breath Away!!

Arlene Kushner | December 18, 2024

X @IDF

I refer to the shift in the Middle East in the last 14 months. In our wildest dreams we could not have imagined the way in which Israel would rally following the massacre of October 7.

It stunned us at first: the heartless cruelty and the ugliness. Some 1,200 dead, others wounded, over 200 taken hostage. But we learned our painful and bitter lesson, recognizing the existential moment for what it was. We pulled ourselves together and moved forward with confidence in the righteousness of our path and with solid determination to win (with solid understanding of the absolute necessity of winning).

‘An Early Test’: Trump Administration’s Spending Bulldogs Sound Alarm Over GOP’s Federal Funding Bill

Peloni:  The Swamp is looking to take one last great bite at the apple before Trump’s reformers take center stage.  Trump has called on Republican to “GET SMART and TOUGH” and oppose this legislation.

Julianna Frieman | Daily Caller |

Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk, President-elect Donald Trump’s picks to create a new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), sounded the alarm Wednesday over the Republican-led House’s federal funding bill.

House Speaker Mike Johnson released the full text Tuesday of the 1,547-page continuing resolution (CR) that would fund the federal government until March 14, 2025. The incoming Trump administration’s cost-cutting bulldogs took to social media to rally against the bill, urging members of Congress to read its contents like they did before casting their votes.

Tucker Carlson Providing ‘Leading Platform’ for Jew-Hatred, Says Israel’s Minister of Combating Antisemitism

Peloni:  Carlson’s antisemitic alignment has been growing for some time now.  It was troubling to see him given a position speaking at the Republican Convention, and is still being treated with significant deference and support from key Republicans, even among those going into the new Trump administration.

by Corey Walker | Algemeiner | Dec 17, 2024

US media personality Tucker Carlson is currently providing the “leading platform” for Jew-hatred, according to Israel’s minister of diaspora affairs and combating antisemitism, Amichai Chikli.

“Congratulations to Tucker Carlson for becoming the leading platform for fringe Holocaust deniers, conspiracy theorists, and blood libel enthusiasts who oppose the State of Israel,” Chikli posted on social media on Tuesday.

Chikli’s comment came one day after Carlson, a right-wing commentator and former Fox News host, hosted economist Jeffrey Sachs for a lengthy interview in which both men gave credence to the antisemitic idea that Israel “controls” US foreign policy, among other controversial comments.

Block on Hoppe on Milei on Decentralism, Isolationism and Israel

By Walter Block

My learned friend Hans Hermann-Hoppe has recently offered a critical evaluation of Javier Milei, president of Argentina. If I had to summarize it in one single advertising jingle it would be: “He is as good as any leader of any country, at present, and better than some.” This, perhaps, is an unlikely way of presenting the matter, but an accurate one.

Hoppe full well acknowledges that Milei did indeed get rid of rent control and axed several Argentinian business regulations. But he insists that this libertarian president instituted others, to take the place of those which disappeared.  Worse, he promised to rid his country of the central bank, but did not do so. Nor did he end all taxes, which Hoppe correctly identifies as nothing less than theft. My only objection, so far, is a judgement call. I maintain that this evaluator was quite a bit too critical of his target. He is engaged in damning him with very faint praise. Hoppe does not take into account the precariousness of Milei’s position. If this politician had acted like the Rothbardian Hoppe presumably requires of him, he would long ago have been impeached, and would no longer be in a position to bring liberty and sound economics to Argentina. But these are only disputes over degree, not kind, that I have with Hoppe.

Pause A Moment To Grasp What Happened in Court Today

Peloni:  As is true of all of Yossi’s research, this is an important read, relating the combined efforts of domestic legal shenanigans and international protest movements  targeting Netanyahu’s leadership with the desired goal of rendering Israel into a state of all its citizens alongside a Pal state ripped from Israel’s strategic heartlands.

Yossi Baum tweeted the following:

A Must-Read: It’s Worth Pausing for a Moment to Grasp What Happened Today in Court to Understand What’s Actually Going On Here.

  • First, a revelation: The majority of the charges—159 out of the 315 in the indictment—Netanyahu was not personally involved in at all. The *full* document format.
  • At the opening of the defense’s case, attorney Hadad explained that the drama that unfolded today is precisely the reason why in the rush to file the indictment while Netanyahu was on the White House lawn during the Abraham Accords signing ceremony, the 315 items were not included in the indictment. The prosecution knew everything was fake; the goal was Netanyahu’s ousting, and detailing was unnecessary for that. When the court compelled them to detail those 315 cases, the collapse began. Because, as revealed today and will be further exposed, there are none and never were.

Abbas advisor calls on ‘the Islamic nation and the whole world to set out with determination against’ Israel

By

The Biden-Harris regime wants the “moderate” Palestinian Authority of Mahmoud Abbas to take over Gaza once the war there is over.

“Palestinian Authority calls for ‘Islamic awakening’ to save Al-Aqsa from the Israelis,” by Nan Jacques Zilberdik, Palestinian Media Watch, December 15, 2024:

During a sermon on official Palestinian Authority TV, a preacher called on Allah to “remove” Israel and “purify the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its surroundings” – i.e., the entire Temple Mount – the holiest place for Jews. Official PA TV has broadcast many sermons with similar content:

What are our choices if Iran sprints to obtain a nuclear weapon?

“If Israel concludes that it cannot effectively strike the Iranian nuclear program alone and needs the United States, its options become much more limited.”

By ERIC R. MANDEL |  DECEMBER 17, 2024

According to Michael Mandelbaum, professor emeritus at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, if “the Islamic Republic should acquire nuclear weapons, as it is actively seeking to do, its capacity to harm America’s friends and American interests would expand dramatically. The most important task for American Middle East policy is…to prevent that from happening. This is especially the case insofar as the American government actively discouraged Israel from hitting Iran’s nuclear installations.”

The fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria has opened a new front for geopolitical competition in the Middle East.

Now, however, instead of Iran and Russia playing the most influential roles in Syria, Israel and Turkey see an opportunity to advance their conflicting national and regional security interests.

Israel Update: The Syrian Challenge

Peloni:  This is a very important and highly recommended video.  Mike Doran makes a detailed and emphatic case for the support of Turkey’s moves in Syria as being not only in Turkey’s interests but also in Israel’s interest.  He makes the point that Turkey’s eminent and utter victory over the Kurdish YPG forces in northern Syria are not a major victory over a Iranian allied force, but that it would also be nearly impossible to prevent this victory from taking place, and will likely be supported by the incoming Trump administration.  In regards to  concerns of Erdogan being an Islamist leader, Mike argues that Erdogan’s Islamist nature is only secondary to his pragmatic nature, and that he has basically ceded national security control over Turkey to the establishment which has only Turkey’s national interests in mind.  Consequently, he argues that should Israel support Turkey’s conquest over the Kurds, Israel and the Turks could move forward together while turning Syria into a buffer state, but if Israel should show support for the Kurds, the pragmatic nature of the Establishment will see Israel as a threat and act accordingly.

Mike’s arguments, however, seem to ignore Erdogan’s interest in recreating the Ottoman Empire, which will only be encouraged evermore by Turkey’s expansion into Syria.  He also downplays the import Islamist nature of Turkey, which now hosts the Islamist Hamas political elites, and helped finance and arm the Islamist forces which toppled Assad’s regime.  In fact, the Turkish backed, Islamist rebels in Damascus should be seen as little more than a sword of Damocles wavering overhead of Israel, with the ultimate control emanating from Ankara, leaving Syria to appear far more like a Turkish proxy state than as a buffer state as Mike describes it will be.

When an antisemitic essay received a Jewish award

The problem of anti-Israel bias has become much worse, in part because it has become an accepted part of mainstream journalistic culture.

Moshe Phillips

Obituaries for journalist Lance Morrow, who passed on Nov. 29 at the age of 85, heaped praise on his “elegance” and “beautifully constructed” essays. They neglected to mention the antisemitic essay he once wrote—and the award it received from a prominent liberal Jewish organization.
