For thousands of years, nations came and went, pursuant to the rule, to the victor go the spoils. This included the right to rape the women, enslave the men, confiscate their wealth and rule the country as they saw fit.
By the beginning of the nineteenth century, this rule had changed considerably but the right of the victor to change borders and transfer populations of conquered countries was enshrined in international law.
So, in accordance with international law, the victors of WWI, Great Britain, France and the US negotiated the Versailles Treaty and forced Germany to accept it. This treaty changed borders of the defeated nations and moved populations. Their right to do so was never questioned.
T. Belman. This article was written just a month after Pres Trump was inaugurated. Six months later I hosted a conference at the Begin Center in Jerusalem called The Jordan Option. All aspects of this option were discussed. The Jordan Opposition Coalition was represented by its founder Dr Mudar Zahran and Abed Amaala, the head of a million man Bedouin clan in Jordan. Close attention to the ideas presented, was paid by the PMO in Jerusalem and the Trump team in DC.
I like to believe that it was our initiative and our ideas that lead to the Abraham Accords and their progeny of peace deals yet to be born. Dr Mudar Zahran strongly believes in cooperation, not confrontation, just as King Feisal proposed and the Abraham Accords formalized. Jordan may yet become the Palestinian State under his leadership.
With a new U.S. president, new ideas are emerging on how to resolve the Israel-Palestine debacle. One of the most promising comes from Jordanian Opposition Council who favor a new Palestinian state — in Jordan.

In a moment of profound relief and national significance, Edan Alexander an Israeli-American IDF soldier was freed on Monday after 584 days in Hamas captivity in Gaza. His return marks the first release of a male IDF soldier kidnapped on October 7, 2023, and the homecoming of the last known living American hostage held by the terror group.
*47 years of US negotiation with the Ayatollah regime suggest that US policy makers have been impressed with the, supposedly, pragmatism of Iranian negotiators. However, while the US considers agreements with the Ayatollah regime and its proxies (e.g., the Houthis, Hamas, Hezbollah) a step toward reconciliation and peaceful coexistence, the Ayatollah regime considers negotiation as a step toward the realization of its ideology – a global domination of all walks of life by Shia Islam, headed by Shia clerics.
*While US policy makers tend to take history, ideology and religion lightly, assuming that Money Talks, the Ayatollah regime is determined that Ideology Walks. Furthermore, as documented by its 47-year-old track record of rogue exportation of the Islamic Shia Revolution, the Ayatollah regime’s ideology transcends financial and diplomatic accords and benefits.
It is with the greatest sadness that I have to report that Ted Belman, Editor of Israpundit for more than twenty years, has passed away at the age of 87. It was my very great honor to have worked so closely with Ted over the past few years. Ted was a visionary thinker, capable of thinking both inside and outside of the box, gaining insights into topics which he shared with his readers in the thousands of articles which he penned over the years and the innumerable posts which he posted and reflected upon. While focusing on topics relating to Israel and the Middle East specifically, and geopolitics more generally, he made Aliyah to Israel in 2009.
So much to process!!! Stick with me as we unpack the latest…
Idan Alexander is free! Baruch Hashem! Yes, it’s only one, but it’s another life saved. People doubted that we would be able to free any of our hostages from the Islamonaz*i barbarians who took them. Yet, we have successfully freed so many, with 58 remaining. And for that, we must be grateful! Thanks to our holy IDF soldiers and to the political pressure on Hamas/Qatar/Egypt from the Trump administration, that was absent with the Biden administration.
All as we are still fighting this war in Gaza to to destroy our Islamonaz*i enemy and prevent any other Oct. 7th massacres from ever happening again.
The Palestinian Arabs must absorb the message that their fate is utterly irrelevant to the Jews. This is the first step towards psychological dominance over the Palestinian Arabs.
L: “Innocent civilians” rushing in to plunder the houses of Jews murdered and captured in Kibbutz Be’eri; R: Convoys of food for them.
The state, the government and the people of Israel, overwhelmingly internalise the wellbeing of the Palestinian Arabs as fundamentally Israel’s responsibility. This tenacious “Jewish man’s burden” has been the handmaiden of Zionism from the start and manifests on so many levels: from a self-imposed obligation to share the bounty of their once-barren land, transformed solely by their own hands, capital and ingenuity, with the Arabs, to forcing onto the Arabs parts of the land itself in the expectation that the latter will “seize the opportunity” to transform that ceded land into a prosperous Palestinian Arab homeland living in peace alongside what remains of the Jewish homeland.
Scholars have long recognized that the historical Jesus and the Jesus of faith are not one and the same. Many such scholars both Christian and otherwise participate every few years in the Jesus Seminar which reviews recent discoveries and treatises which shed light on the historical Jesus. They cast ballots to state their opinions on whether each statement or act attributed to Jesus in the Gospels can’t be true, might be true or probably is true. Much has been written on the historical Jesus and continues to be written. Most scholars, except for the fundamentalists and literalists, are of the opinion that very little in the gospels is true. But does it matter. Read more…
Peloni: On Saturday’s show, Mark spends his first segment examine Trump in his first hundred days. He explains that Trump has been and continues to be a consequential president, a historical figure due to several aspects, his charisma, his direct relationship with the American people, he thinks big and outside the box, he is a principled man who remains open to new ideas, perceptive, considerate and curious, while sensitive enough to inquire about the well being of those directly by his side. Mark explains that Trump is not an idealogue, but is instead driven by philosophy. The efforts of his enemies to destroy him have made him unique in America history, adding to his historic quality as he will not given in to their demands or succumb to their efforts. He remains to be the most popular president in American history as he is not a politician. Mark explains that besides Lincoln, there has not been another president attacked from the day he entered the White House, while still securing a significantly consequential agenda in his first 100 Days in office. He has lived as an inspiring figure, influencing others who observe him in action.
Tzvi Feldman has been missing since battle in First Lebanon War
The body of IDF soldier Tzvi Feldman, who had been declared missing after a battle in Lebanon in 1982, was recovered from Syria in a special mission by the Mossad and the Israel Defense Forces.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Israel Katz, the foreign intelligence agency Mossad, and the IDF announced the recovery on Sunday morning.
Hamas massacring women and children is “resistance” according to Peter Beinart but, as in Africa, it is Islamist attempted “genocide” by definition and their own admission.
Since Oct. 7, there’s been an aggressive effort to rebrand Hamas terrorism as “armed resistance.”
Now, Peter Beinart, speaking at the Harvard Divinity School, which recognizes only one deity, Allah, used a curious term of art to describe the mass murder of Jews as “Palestinian armed resistance against civilians.”

Both tiny Israel and mighty India are victims of the same ideology: jihadism. The Muslims in Pakistan and the Muslims in “Palestine” share the same desire to harm the Infidels — Hindus and Jews, respectively. The terror groups that Pakistan’s military nurtures and arms — Jaish-e-Muhammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba — and then helps to cross into India to murder civilians are brothers under the skin to Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
Is Donald Trump really preparing to recognize a Palestinian state? The news hit like a thunderbolt on Saturday, amid an avalanche of stories claiming that Trump is angry with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and is changing course from his previous wholehearted support of Israel’s defense against Hamas and the other jihadist entities that are determined to destroy it. As is so often the case in such matters, however, there was decidedly less to the story than there initially appeared to be.
You won’t believe what I’m about to tell you—but I confirmed it personally, because even I couldn’t believe it at first.
In a recent meeting, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu actually said that Israel is ‘considering stopping the reception of U.S. military aid.’
Yes, you read that correctly. Not “demanding more,” not “thanking the U.S. for its support,” but actually re-evaluating whether Israel should continue receiving it at all.
Peloni: This is not believable. Qatar is a state sponsor of terrorism. It funds pro-terror riots on US college campuses. It funded the same Hamas which tortured, murdered and kidnapped dozens of Americans on October 7.
Update: Trump responds to critics of accepting the free plane from Qatar, stating that the transaction is completely transparent and very public while complaining that The Dems would insist the US pay top dollar instead. But he fails to acknowledge that the greater problem stems from the source of the gift being the Qataris, an acknowledged terror supporter, a documented briber of politicians, and a major source of funding for Aidan Alexander having been held in captivity over the past 18 months and responsible for the training of those who raped, pillaged, tortured, murdered and held the corpses of American citizens over the past year and half. The Qataris are a den of iniquity, from which the US needs to divest itself, not become more invested with them, and this is irrelevant to how transparent or public this bond of association might be. Or so I would argue.
Breaking — Qatar to Gift $400 Million Plane to President Trump:
?? According to ABC News, the Trump administration is set to accept a luxury Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet—valued at around $400 million—from the Qatari royal family.
Jewish troops in the Red Army fought to the end rather than face the horror of capture

The story of Soviet Jewish soldiers in World War II is both familiar and unique. Like many Jews across the world, they faced a genocidal enemy. But unlike their counterparts elsewhere, they fought in a country that, despite its contradictions, granted them full participation in the war effort. Many seized that chance with remarkable conviction.
Qatar has done more damage, and caused more national security threats, to American society than Russia or any other state, so it’s just mind boggling how the Trump administration is even engaged in talks of any kind with Qatar. They’re literally the Muslim Brotherhood, sworn to…
