Victory over jihad

When one side is fighting a religious war and the other is not, then the one fighting the religious war will never lose, and will continue fighting, or at least resume fighting later, and will not stop until finally victorious. This can go on for generations.

ANJULI PANDAVAR

With Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s wartime leadership having gone into high gear, one can expect talk of a peace deal with Hezbollah to more likely be a ruse for running out the clock on the dreadful Biden administration. Such talk, it turns out, is also bringing into the open just how solidly the Israeli public stands behind Mr Netanyahu in his prosecution of the war. As things stand, the only mistake Netanyahu can make is to fall behind the Israeli public.

Fake News in the 21st Century: The egregious, unethical sin of omission

“The omission is the most powerful form of lie, and it is the duty of the historian to ensure that those lies do not creep into the history books.” —George Orwell, author of 1984. They sure have.

We have heard a great deal about Fake News over the decades. But we have not discussed the fake news that is the result of the egregious unethical omission of facts.

By Seth Frantzman | November 21, 2024

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) executed several waves of airstrikes on Hezbollah sites in Beirut on November 20. The strikes occurred as Israeli forces progressed with several new limited ground operations near the border. In addition, Hezbollah’s new leader, Naim Qassem, vowed to respond to Israel for the killing of Hezbollah spokesperson Mohammad Afif on November 18.

President Trump Nominates Pam Bondi for U.S. Attorney General – The Deep Swamp Smiles

Sundance | November 21,2024

The nomination of former Florida AG Pam Bondi for the position of U.S. Attorney General is a big mistake; not for the corrupt background of Bondi that we presume President Trump is not aware of, but rather for the background of Pam Bondi the Deep Swamp is almost certainly aware of.

Within the background story of state AG corruption and unlawful activity, Pam Bondi is very easily leveraged, blackmailed and controlled.

Netanyahu Warns Hamas, Offers Incentives for Hostage Release

Peloni:  The hard reality is that while we all want the hostages home, this tactic to secure their release secures the value of targeting Israelis in further kidnapping.  As October 7 was an outcropping of the disastrous Shalit deal, this multimillion dollar gambit will have its own consequences.

Israeli leader promises relentless pursuit of captors while proposing safe passage and rewards for those aiding hostages’ return.

Israfan | November 20, 2024

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a stern warning to Hamas on Tuesday during a visit to the Netzarim Corridor, a strategic area dividing Gaza’s northern and southern regions. Netanyahu pledged relentless action against those harming Israeli hostages held in the Gaza Strip while offering significant incentives for their release.

Bibi Responds to ICC Charges

Peloni:  This twisted reversal of justice only persists with the cooperation and complicity of the current US govt.  The actions of the ICC could have and should have been shut down when this aberration of justice first began to unfurl its madness in support of the perpetrators of the October 7 onslaught.  Having done nothing to stop these proceedings, then or now, demonstrates not the helplessness of the White House, but rather its full consent in extending tactics of Lawfare to demonize, penalize, and jeapardize the state of Israel.  They do so even while they continue to send funds to Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran.

The US media’s war on Trump’s Middle East policy

Michael Oren | TOI Blogs | November 19, 2024

In recent articles on Hezbollah’s rocket attacks on northern Israel, the New York Times, the Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal all referred to the “Israeli-occupied” or “Israeli-controlled” Golan Heights. The terms were revealing. In March 2019, President Trump recognized Israeli sovereignty over the Golan, making it an indivisible part of the Jewish state. In describing the Heights as “occupied” and “controlled” by Israel, America’s papers of record were publicly rejecting the position of the country’s democratically elected leader in favor of those of Belgium, China, and the Obama administration.

Potential Election Fallout and What’s Coming

Morning Intelligence Report

MG Paul E Vallely, US Army (Ret)

Guest Editorial: George Mcclellan | November 17, 2024

As conservatives recover from the unabashed but rare joy of victory, no thanks to the GOP, and review the shattered remains of the Progressive Democrat Party scattered to the wind, we are reminded that even now, while leaderless, the radical Left is doubling down in their schemes to deny Trump his role as Americas next President. How? Trump did win, didn’t he? First, be aware that these types of claims coming so recently after the Democrat debacle that was the November election are simply a scheme to raise funds based on our fears. I do not say it’s terrible; it is just a logical move to refill their coffers. Both parties are making many such claims.

Does Hezbollah see itself as being on the ropes?

Seth Frantzman tweeted the following

Hezbollah’s Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem has said that Israel “attacked the heart of Beirut to assassinate the Resistance group’s media chief, Mohammad Afif, and now must await a counter-response in the heart of Tel Aviv.” This is interesting, because Hezbollah already targeted Tel Aviv in the wake of the killing of Afif.

The statement is a reminder of how Hezbollah ran this war prior to Israel’s Operation Northern Arrows; Hezbollah would always say there was an equation. Basically “if Israel does X then we do Y.” One would have thought this changed with Israel’s operation, because Israel expanded the attacks so much.

“History will remember this vote… – who stood with the hostages… and who stood against them.”

Peloni:  The UN remains an apologetically antisemitic organization, fixated upon the tiny Jewish State as if it were the very source of terror and barbarity which it fights against on a daily basis.  The UN’s ignominy of abandoning the Israeli hostages to a state of enslavement  to the terror dens of Gaza without any expression or possibility of their return clearly demonstrates the malicious character of this entirely evil institution.  Israel must continue to pressure those holding the hostages by persisting with the war, and thereby create the possibility of actually bring these helpless innocents home.

Will Lebanon’s Ceasefire Gambit Bring a More Sustainable Peace?

Ahmad Sharawi | November 21, 2024

Lebanon’s willingness to assent to a U.S.-proposed ceasefire offers a pathway to ending the current war, but significant challenges remain. Chief among these is Israel’s demand for operational freedom, a point of contention fiercely opposed by Hezbollah and its patron, Iran. Tehran’s endorsement of a ceasefire will provide Hezbollah with the space to regroup and fortify its capabilities. Compounding these concerns are doubts about enforcement given the historical inability and unwillingness of the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) to effectively curb Hezbollah’s activities.

With pile-on of ceasefire proposals for Israel, free speech by Trump is the best source of a reset

Peloni:  This is an important article.  Notably, the resolution brought before the UN was vetoed by the US earlier today, but the points made clear in this article and the suggestion that Trump should make his own inflections crystal clear as related to this topic, both remain highly relevant.

Fight.

J.E. Dyer, a retired Naval Intelligence officer, blogs as The Optimistic ConservativeNovember 18,2024

Excellent coverage from Anne Bayefsky and Benjamin Weinthal indicated on Monday 18 November that elected members of the UN Security Council (i.e., the rotating elected members, not any of the Permanent 5) are working on a UN Security Council Resolution to be voted on as early as Tuesday 19 November that seeks to impose an immediate ceasefire on Israel, and box in the incoming Trump administration regarding its options for future policy.

Is Burgum the Right Choice for Interior Secretary and Energy Czar?

Peloni:  Is this another deal struck with the Swamp?  How can it be reconciled to be anything else?

By Janet Levy | Am Thinker | November 20, 2024

From running for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination himself, former North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum has proven himself a Trump loyalist who commands the president-elect’s trust.  Announcing Burgum’s appointment at his Mar-a-Lago resort, Trump said, “He’s going to head the Department of Interior, and he’s going to be fantastic.”

However, given Burgum’s background, affiliations, and views on important issues, is he the right choice for Secretary of the Interior?  Trump has also made him the nation’s energy czar by appointing him chairman of the newly formed National Energy Council.  But is Burgum fit to chair the council and, under that post, take a seat on the National Security Council?

Comparing Islam and Nazism: some common misconceptions

Peloni:  Highly revealing analysis contrasting the distinctions between Nazism and Islam.

The horrors perpetrated by the Nazis were concealed from the wider Nazi population for very good reason: they were not cruel enough to stomach it, despite their rabid anti-Semitism. This is why comparing Hamas to the Nazis makes no sense at all.
