Peloni: Syria is a failed state, and it has been for over a decade. The Turkish aligned Sunni radical axis recently replaced the Iranian aligned Shia axis in Syria. Both regimes weaponized their jihadi mentality against the Christian and minority populations, and they both should be kept at arms length without Western support. Jihad knows no tolerance for the infidels, and as such, they should be shown no comfort or support from the West. Europe should be paying close attention to this fact.

When Syria’s dictator, Bashar al-Assad, was thrown from power last December and fled to Russia, Europe’s elites, and its Washington swamp allies, rejoiced.
Sure, the new guys in charge, an armed rebel group called HTS, had been members of al-Qaida in Iraq. But Assad was the bad guy — evil, wicked, worst person in the world.
