Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky began his visit to the United States in Pennsylvania with a stop Sunday at the Scranton Army Ammunition Plant, where he thanked American workers producing the 155mm artillery shells Ukraine uses to kill Russians in a nasty border war with its fellow slavic neighbor to the east.

I wonder how those American workers feel making weapons for the leader of perhaps the most corrupt country in the world, Ukraine, which is being used by a corrupt Washington Unitparty to poke the Russian bear in the eyeball. Maybe they’re not aware of the geopolitical ramifications of their work. I doubt many are or they would be looking for other, less provocative jobs.

Washington warns Israel against ground invasion into Lebanon

A senior Biden administration official said on Monday that the United States opposed an Israeli ground invasion into Lebanon to push the Iranian-backed Hezbollah terror group from its border. U.S. officials have previously cautioned that an all-out war between Israel and Hezbollah could have “catastrophic” consequences and that the Jewish state may “pay a heavy price without achieving its goals.” Undoubtedly, a ground operation is laden with risk. Yet since Hamas launched its war against Israel on Oct. 7, Washington has often tried to constrain Israel’s military operations by publicly casting doubt on the Jewish state’s ability to achieve its war aims. And Israel has repeatedly demonstrated that Washington’s fears were unsubstantiated.

Peloni:  Alex Newman explores the recent move by the UN to setup the legal basis by which all sectors of societies around the world would defer to the authority of the UN should a global emergency be declared, and importantly Newman explains that the emergency acting as the pretext for this enactment of a global takeover of the world would not even need to global in nature as a regional emergency could be labeled as a global emergency, and the nature of the emergency could literally be anything from climate to monkey pox.

Dozens of Palestinian Authority diplomats around the world celebrated the Oct. 7 massacres, according to a new study. The revelations have important implications for anybody concerned about the prospects for Middle East peace.

The study was undertaken by GnasherJew, a group of British Jewish investigative journalists, and reported by The Jewish Chronicle based in London. GnasherJew is best known for exposing the antisemitic remarks made by Jeremy Corbyn, the former leader of Britain’s Labour Party.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) continued to strike Hezbollah sites in Lebanon on September 25, the third day of Israel’s “Northern Arrows” operation. In addition, the head of Israel’s Northern Command spoke to commanders of a key IDF armored brigade about the need to be ready for maneuver and action in Lebanon. The IDF said it was calling up two reserve brigades for operations in the north. Hezbollah also sought to illustrate that it possesses significant capabilities to strike at northern and central Israel.

The third day of Israel’s Operation Northern Arrows began with Hezbollah launching a ballistic missile toward Tel Aviv. The Iranian-backed terrorist group claimed in a statement that it had used a Qader-1 missile to target Israel’s Mossad headquarters. Hezbollah has blamed the Mossad for the exploding pagers that wounded thousands of its members on September 17. The ballistic missile was intercepted by Israel’s David’s Sling air defense system.

No sooner did the encrypted communications devices handed out to members of the Islamic Jihadist group begin exploding than human rights experts and the UN began condemning the single greatest targeted attack on a terror group as a violation of international law. Those same organizations and activists had nothing to say about the Hezbollah rocket attacks on Israeli towns and villages that turned tens of thousands of Jews into refugees in their own country.

I think his summary is fair enough. But it is not the real text. Zelensky really thinks he can get NATO (led by the United States) to commit air power and troops to fight in Ukraine. That is why he is campaigning for Kamala Harris in swing states, including Pennsylvania, because he knows that the American troops cannot be dispatched until after Harris wins the election.

Peloni: Mike explains how brilliantly Israel has re-established escallation dominance against Hezbollah in such a short period of time, noting that it is clear that these plans have been carefully crafted over a number of years.  He notes that Israel has been allowed to do so, however, only due to the fact that they have worked within the Redlines established by the US.  No doubt this is the basis of his thoughts on why Israel should pursue the enforcement of UNSC Res. 1701, as expressed in his Grim Reeper tweet, rather than eliminating the Iranian threat in the North altogether.  In fact, Israel can no longer live with the sword of Damacles ever wavering overhead, waiting for Iran to do in the North what they did in the South, or worse yet, a coordinated assault from all the Iranian threats at once.  Iran’s capability to threaten Israel must be eliminated, not deterred, and the time to do so should be now, not at some point in the future.

Iranian-sponsored terrorist groups are not speaking the same language the U.S. State Department speaks and words like “de-escalation” hold no meaning.

Israel’s magnificent operations last week eliminated and/or incapacitated thousands of Hezbollah terrorists, as well as eliminated members of the Radwan force who were planning an “Oct. 7-style” attack on Israeli citizens in the Galilee. Finally receiving their just desserts were two men wanted by the FBI for the 1983 bombing of the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut that killed 247 Americans, 57 French servicemen and six civilians. (The second terrorist was taken out on the 40th anniversary of the attack.)

There was no “thank you” from the Biden-Harris administration. After a bit of stiffness, the administration admitted that “nobody sheds a tear” for them.

When it comes to university choices in North America, any Jew who considers enrolling in Harvard or Columbia or University of Michigan or NYU or UCLA, or any of the other schools that day after day see horrific antisemitism, needs a psychiatrist rather than a university degree. All of the petitions and demands have fallen on deaf ears and it is past time to expect change.
