Meet Jacob Herzog, Saudi Arabia’s self-proclaimed chief rabbi

Peloni:  We have been sharing the intelligence Tweets posted by Rabbi Herzog’s over the past weeks, in which he is careful to commonly remind us that these are sourced information rather than prophetic predictions.  In any event, here is a report dated a few years ago which details Herzog’s journey to Saudi Arabia and his hopes at the time for the future of his enterprise.

Rabbi Herzog, a 46-year-old American-Israeli rabbi who made aliyah from the US as a child, thought of traveling to Saudi Arabia only four years ago.

Many Jews visited the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah last weekend, mainly because of the summit between US President Joe Biden and the kingdom’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Behind the scenes, there was also an American-Israeli rabbi who made kiddush for the participants, mainly journalists and advisers of government officials who spent Shabbat in Saudi Arabia.

When Cyber Warfare met Psychological Warfare

Ron Jager | Sept 18, 2024

Ron Jager

Rigging thousands of pagers worn and used by Hezbollah terrorists and operatives in Lebanon, Syria, and other northern locations surrounding Israel to explode simultaneously, signifies even now only a sliver of insight into Israel’s offensive capabilities. With over 4000 terrorists injured simultaneously, many critically, the devastating psychological effect of the cyber-attack attributed to Israel on Hezbollah is only a pre-emptive stage in the expected war on the murderous terror organization in Lebanon. With the threat from Hamas largely destroyed and mopping up operations being executed by a relatively small IDF force in the Gaza Strip, the focus of Israel has shifted to the north. Hezbollah, the terror organization, and the Republic of Iran, a terror state have been put on notice.

Why it matters what athletes say

The Palestinian Football Association really does influence what young people think … and do.

The members of the Palestinian Authority’s soccer team, currently training in Malaysia, recently posed for a team photo. It is a classic case of a picture being worth a thousand words—if not more.

Normal athletes all over the world pose for team photos in their uniforms, as keepsakes for themselves as well as for their fans. But the society that the P.A. has shaped is anything but normal.

Canada’s betrayal of Israel: ‘Irresponsible and shameful’

This betrayal of Israel is embarrassing for any true supporter of Canada as well as of true Canadian values. It should be roundly condemned.

By ALAN BAKER | SEPTEMBER 18, 2024

CANADA’S FOREIGN MINISTER Melanie Joly attends an ASEAN meeting, in Vientiane, Laos, in July. She and her colleagues and supporters from Quebec seem to be imbibed with a caustic hatred of Israel, the writer charges.  photo credit: CHALINEE THIRASUPA/REUTERS)

The concept of commonality of values has always been a steadfast principle in Canada’s relationships with its friends and allies.

Such commonality of values was perhaps voiced most clearly in an address by former prime minister Stephen Harper to Israel’s parliament – the Knesset – some years ago, in which he listed the historic and long-standing values shared by Canada and Israel. He ended his historic address by reiterating the vital message to Israel: “Canada will always have Israel’s back.”

Biden-Harris Admin Immediately Leaks Details of Israeli Pager Op

Peloni:  Of course, this should surprise none of us.

by

Israel did not take responsibility for the pager attack that crippled Hezbollah’s comms and took out a chunk of their officer corps. It certainly did not go ahead and describe how it was done for the media. That’s tradecraft. And you don’t reveal it.

But the New York Times had a report detailing how it happened that same evening. I won’t link to it as it carries the byline of fake news fabulist Sheera Frenkel who had previously carried water for Hamas and lied that the Islamic terror group had not kidnapped and killed three Israeli teens.

Netanyahu: Situation in Northern Israel ‘Cannot Continue’

By

For nearly a year, 60,000 Israelis living in the north have had to leave their homes because of constant rockets and drones launched by Hezbollah in Lebanon. The social and economic disruption has been considerable, even more than that from the continued displacement in the south of 40,000 Israelis on the Jewish state’s s border with Gaza. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has said that the IDF, having destroyed so much of Hamas, should now turn its full attention to the north, and the threat from Hezbollah. Prime Minister Netanyahu, while recognizing that the situation in the north “cannot continue,” still appears to want to finish the job of dismantling Hamas in Gaza before moving on to deal forcefully with Hezbollah. More on Netanyahu’s view of the northern front can be found here: “Situation in North can’t continue, Netanyahu says ahead of Hochstein visit,” by Tovah Lazaroff, Jerusalem Post, September 15, 2024:

The cross-border violence between the IDF and Hezbollah in the North of the country “cannot continue,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said ahead of a meeting with US special envoy Amos Hochstein on Monday.

Actually, Kamala Harris has given her answer on the problem of inflation

The ears have it

J.E. Dyer, a retired Naval Intelligence officer, blogs as The Optimistic Conservative, Sept 15, 2024

Let’s listen with our ears.

Pundits have been complaining in the last few days, somewhat understandably, that even under direct questioning, candidate Harris has failed to address what she would do about rampant inflation.

But she has, in fact, addressed the question.  She’s given an answer we need have no uncertainty about – or unclarity, for that matter.

The Unknown 2024 Election Variable: PLAUSIBILITY

Peloni:  The fraud can’t fail the laugh test, at least not by everyone.  So will RFK play the role which  Barr & and other presumed Trump stalwarts played in the aftermath of 2020 as these Trump ‘allies’ revealed their true role in the 2020 campaign was in supporting the fraud which was evident from election night onward?  As RFK notably raised claims of election fraud during the 2004 election, his continued silence on the much better established and significantly evidenced election fraud of 2020 makes Sundance’s conjecture all the more compelling to consider.

Sundance | Sept 17, 2024

We will be outlining some data and research analysis to help further spotlight the current dynamic.  In the interim there is value in considering one specific facet of the 2024 election mechanisms, PLAUSIBILITY.

There will be attempts to interject ballot fraud into the 2024 election, specifically from key regions which have increasingly been accepted as labeled, the Clyburn network.  For the activist leadership on the Obama/Clyburn side of the system, the issue of plausibility is a serious point of discussion.

Hezbollah’s worst nightmare: Chaos in its ranks – opinion

Hezbollah, a highly trained and disciplined terrorist group, is now facing chaos and vulnerability after a large number of its members were injured by exploding communication devices.

By SETH J. FRANTZMAN | SEPTEMBER 17, 2024

Hezbollah is known as a disciplined group. Highly trained, the group invests heavily in its recruits. It is not known to waste them as cannon fodder. It views itself as an elite organization, and within its own structure, there are centers of terrorist excellence, such as the Radwan force.

Hezbollah has achieved this through decades of fine-tuning its capabilities. It has built itself up slowly, first in the 1980s and then in the last two decades as it came to dominate Lebanon. Now, the group faces its worst nightmare: Chaos.

Israel: From Darling of the Left to Pariah State

by Norman Berdichevsky

Since then, Israel has been constantly in the news and with the passage of time subjected to the growing myth never challenged by the media, that the United States was wholly or largely responsible for fully supporting Israel on the ground from the very beginning, a claim that is without any foundation in fact. However, it was actually not until the administration of President John Kennedy in the early 1960s that any American arms shipments were made to Israel.

Soviet Diplomatic Support

The struggle of the Jewish community in Palestine was endorsed completely by what was then called “enlightened public opinion,” above all by the political Left. At the UN, Andrei Gromyko asserted the right of “the Jews of the whole world to the creation of a state of their own,” something no official of the U.S. State Department has ever acknowledged. Soviet support in the U.N. for partition brought along an additional two votes (the Ukrainian and Bielorussian Republics within the USSR) and the entire Soviet dominated block of East European states.

Exploding Pagers in Lebanon and Syria

Peloni:  A brilliantly exercised assault on the enemy at the brink of war – simple yet highly disruptive to any attempt at coordinating either further assaults or even any defense of the many Hezbollah units scattered across Southern Lebanon. Hence, Hezbollah must now find a new means of communicating, obtaining the new devices and distributing them to all their various members amid the onset of war. Well, it is not likely that Israel will allow them the time to do any of this – as Gen. Avivi noted, war is immanent.  It would be ironic if Nassrallah came to his senses and used his next post-Friday prayer announcement to call all his minions North of the Litani so that they could collect their new cellular devices which they could use til Israel chose to blow those up as well…ironic indeed.  And let us not overlook the psychological warfare aspect of this victory as well.

Hezbollah’s Strategic Communications Shut Dow

Stephen Bryen | Weapons & Stategy | Sept 17, 2024

Encrypted pagers used by Hezbollah and their sponsors in Lebanon and Syria simultaneously started exploding earlier today, September 17.

This was the backbone of Hezbollah and Iranian communications in Lebanon and Syria.  It has now been destroyed along with wounding at least 1,000 Hezbollah and Iranians connected with them, including Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon.  We will probably learn more about how many pagers exploded in the coming days.

There is now video of some of the pagers exploding and video of hospitals crowded with wounded.

TV7 Israel – Deep Dive featuring Hudson Institute

Peloni:  While Iran flexes its proxy army tentacles against Israel, the Mullahs continue to face no threat, no concern, and no consequence for having done so.  This policy on the part of Israel must change, and until it does, Iran will continue to fight to the last minion of its proxy armies, even as it remains vulnerable but unscathed for these attacks.  Indeed, Israel must demonstrate to the world and Iran remains assailable, that their vulnerabilities are significant, and that for every assault emanating from their minions against the Israeli people will result in a direct response being visited upon the Mullahs themselves.

Israel inches closer to decision on northern operation against Hezbollah

“The Israeli Security Cabinet has Unanimously Voted tonight to Approve the War Goals against Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon, which will allow the return of Residents to their Homes in Northern Israel” – OSINTdefender

Seth J. Frantzman| Sept 16,2024

Amos Hochstein, a senior advisor to President Joe Biden, held meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant on September 16. The meetings happened a day after Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen launched a long-range missile at central Israel. They also came amid rising tensions between Hezbollah and Israel and a push for Israel to launch a military operation to clear the Iranian-backed group from Israel’s northern border.

Netanyahu met with Hochstein in Tel Aviv at the Kirya, the site of Israel’s Ministry of Defense, and discussed Hezbollah’s threat. “The Prime Minister made it very clear that it will not be possible to return our residents without a fundamental change in the security situation in the north,” a statement from Netanyahu’s office noted. Netanyahu said Israel would do what is necessary to protect its security and bring back the 60,000 Israelis who have been evacuated since Hezbollah began its attacks on Israel last October.

Israel’s Future in Light of the US Election – Francisco Gil-White

T. Belman. The problem is that the State Department has been consistantly pro Arab and anti-Israel for 100 years. Gil-White is focused on the fact that Trump can’t change that. The best he can do is to ignore them and do what he can to help Israel, just as he did when he was President.

Peloni:  The one point which I disagree with Gil-White is on Trump, who he shades as being part of the same anti-Israel power bosses in the US. By his own standard of following the facts on the ground, this has little support.  The only part of Trump’s foreign policy which might support such a premise was the continued funding for Lebanon despite the violations of UNSC 1701 and 1559, funding which was quietly agreed to after significant deliberation.  This was a serious setback, which strongly contrasted with all of Trump’s other policies in the region, but I would argue that this was clearly the exception to Trump’s regional policy in the Middle East rather than demonstrative of them, and the attempt to push it through without any fanfare or explanation would seem to support this fact all the more.
