401st Brigade Raids Hamas Training Sites in Rafah Area, Finding Weapons and Tunnel Shafts: On Sunday, troops from the IDF’s 162nd Division were continuing operations in the Rafah area. During “precise, intelligence-based operations,” the division’s 401st Armored Brigade destroyed the Abu Said compound, which Hamas’s Tel Sultan Battalion used for training. Troops also found tunnel shafts and weapons storage facilities as well as the office of battalion commander Mahmoud Hamdan and the office of Hamas commander Yasser Natat, who was in charge of Rafah Brigade rocket fire against Israel and soldiers in Gaza. The 401st Brigade also carried out another operation in a Hamas training complex, finding tunnel shafts used for attacking IDF troops as well as a large quantity of weapons and intelligence documents.

Israel, unlike the United States, has demonstrated its resolve to respond with force to each and every attack against it by Iran or its proxies. However, it is not just Israel’s willingness to use force that is noteworthy but its disposition to do so in a way that coerces and constrains Iranian power.

The United States should learn from Israel’s approach, particularly its April 19 strike inside Iran, and apply, together with Israel, a coercive strategy that seeks to constrain, degrade, and eventually collapse the Iranian regime.

The Biden administration has only recently come around to appreciate this approach when it took out an Iranian proxy commander in response to Iran’s January 28 drone attack that killed three U.S. servicemembers. Since then, Iran appears to have paused attacks against U.S. personnel. Up until that point, the United States had responded to Iranian proxy escalation by striking token weapons depots and killing low-level Iranian military bystanders, describing each response as “self-defense.” Unsurprisingly, those responses only encouraged Iranian escalation.

Tensions on Israel’s northern border are currently at their highest point since the outbreak of hostilities in October last year. On Friday, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said: ‘One rash move – one miscalculation – could trigger a catastrophe that goes far beyond the border, and frankly, beyond imagination.’

The latest reports indicate that the US has declared it will give Israel its ‘full support’ in the event of war with Hezbollah. This appears to go hand in hand, however, with an American determination to prevent any Israeli action which might precipitate such a war. So what is the current situation? And where are things heading?

Amid increasingly violent cross-border exchanges of fire between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon, and growing fears of a full-scale war, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah last week threatened to attack Cyprus if the Mediterranean island made its military bases available to Israel.

Washington has cautioned Israel against any escalation that might encourage other Iran-backed Shiite militias from Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, and Syria to join in, but that warning poses questions: What would the US advise European capitals to do if Nasrallah threatened them over any disagreements they might have with Tehran? And who will guarantee that Tehran, once it produces nuclear weapons, will not threaten to use them against Cyprus or the rest of Europe?

The greatest challenge to the Deep State’s hold on power is coming in November’s election, and they have made every effort, while still failing, to forestall the inevitable return of Trump to even participate in that election.  The balance of victory in November is all that stands between the continued rule of the unelected beaurocrats and the rule by consent of the governed.  This is why these coming months are likely to be more chaotic and more challenging than even what we have see thus far from the Deep State as they make every effort to preserve their beaurocratic choke-hold on controlling the American people.

You know the term “authoritarian.” You think you know what it means.

An authoritarian dad, boss, or government says: my way or the highway. They are forever barking orders and see compliance as the answer to all human problems. There is no room for uncertainty, adaptation to time and place, or negotiation. It’s ruling by personal dictate while tolerating no dissent.

To be authoritarian is to be inhumane, to rule with arbitrary and capricious imposition. It can also mean to be ruled impersonally by a machine regardless of the cost.

Peloni: The deployment of these Jew-Hate bully brute squads to the streets of LA is yet a further evidence of the maliciously antisemitic posture accepted by the Democratic Party whose donors were knowingly responsible for financing the campus violence campaign over the past months.  The demonstration of the authoritarian credo “To my friends, everything, and to my enemies, the Law” should be a stark message to every Jew in America.  This is not about politics, it isn’t about Trump, it is about your safety and the survival of your loved ones.  The Jews of America are under threat, and those in the Democratic party which have been viewed to be either allies or benefactors or representatives have demonstrated that they are in fact the enemies of the Jewish people.  The Jews of America, regardless of their political views, must come to terms with this fact, regardless of how difficult it might be, and act upon it.

While it is good to see the Jewish community acting in its own defense on the streets, the American Jews must come to accept that they must do the same on the political field.  Failing to do so will only see such scenes as those below come about much more often with much greater consequences.

Some people are calling this a “pogrom”. It was at best a low-level riot against Jews by Islamic terrorist supporters and Antifa with the complicity of local Los Angeles authorities. I have an article with more to say about it, but the videos speak for themselves.

The target was Congregation Adas Torah (Congregation of the Bible) but the pro-terror rally spread out to two adjoining synagogues and then the violence spread out past Kosher restaurants, a Jewish school and to nearby residential streets on both sides of Pico Blvd in the Pico Robertson neighborhood where the Hamas rioters freely attacked Jews.

So what’s the problem?

In a faux expose last week, the New York Times claimed to have uncovered a “stealthy” Israeli conspiracy to annex “the West Bank.”

The problem is it’s not stealthy, it’s not a conspiracy, and it only impacts the portions of Judea-Samaria that the Palestinian Authority (PA) agreed, at Oslo, can be run by Israel in any way it sees fit.

Antony Blinken has visited Cairo again. The U.S. secretary of state met with Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on June 10 to talk about Israel, Hamas, hostages and the future of the Gaza Strip.

The Egyptian military, like Iran and Qatar, knows Hamas’s leadership well. This surely isn’t only because of proximity. Although neither Washington nor Jerusalem wants to say so, the Oct. 7 attack on Israel couldn’t have happened without the Egyptian army’s turning a blind eye to the shipment of arms and other materiel over and under the Egypt-Gaza border. Greed and anti-Zionist sympathies likely fed trade and ties between senior Egyptian officers and Hamas commanders.

As Europeans have increasingly turned to the right, with the electoral victories of Geert Wilders’ Party for Freedom in the Netherlands, of Giorgia Meloni’s Fratelli d’Italia in Italy, of Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella’s National Rally in France, and of Alice Weidel’s Alternative für Deutschland in Germany, Israel should unembarrassedly make common cause with these leaders and parties, all of which have expressed stout support for Israel. The increased popularity of these parties is due mainly to their firm stance against continued Muslim migration into their countries, a stance that has caused them to be labelled, quite unfairly, as “far-right.”
