Chicago Dems Plotted the World’s Greatest Jailbreak to Steal a Presidential Election

During the Civil War, Democrats came up with a unique plan to find more voters.

By Daniel Greenfield,   11 Apr 08:24 PM

“They will vote early and often, and they will fight,” Charles Walsh, a top figure in the Democratic political machine who had unsuccessfully run for Sheriff of Cook County, promised.

The year was 1864 and Walsh, the “doorkeeper’ of the Illinois House, who lost an election to a Republican by less than 800 votes, had a plan to win a presidential election the Chicago Way.

How Israel can fight a better PR war

E. Rowell:  I frequently hear progressives complain that their side needs “better PR.”  American progressives, who will not criticize the policies they and their politicians espouse, often think their only problem is one of “PR.”  If Israel has a PR problem one possibility is that it is due to progressives embedded in the military and intelligence brass who actually believe the Palestinian PR against the State of Israel!  How can they be counted on to be of help with PR when their raison d’être is to undermine the democratically elected government?  The author blames “right wing” politicians for going off message for political purposes when right wing politicians are very ON message, and it is the progressives who are constantly undermining the Likud for political advantage.  Nevertheless it is a useful exercise to think about how Israel could communicate more effectively with the people of the world.

The Jewish state can play a better PR game against Hamas and the West.

By Nachum Kaplan, MORALITY CLARITY     10 April 2024

Israel can improve its PR game greatly.

Israel needs to do better in the public relations war that it is fighting concurrently with its war against Hamas in Gaza. It is losing in the international court of opinion. Here is what it can do better.

Hamas, an evil Islamist terror group, has an outstanding PR machine that has corrupted and co-opted much of the international media and world leaders to do its bidding. Israel’s efforts have been ham-fisted.

We media strategists are like poker players; we must play the hand we have been dealt. Despite being the victim of a savage attack, and holding what would be the high ground in any morally sane universe, Israel started with five structural disadvantages.

‘Democracy’ Has a Peculiar Aftertaste

by J.B. Shurk, GATESTONE  •  April 12, 2024 at 5:00 am

  • If you live in a “democracy” where everyone routinely votes to censor and imprison one another, you still live in a police state.
  • The word “democracy” appears to have become polite shorthand for insisting that an insular minority in control of the American government always knows what is best for the vast, unrepresented majority. Even worse, it sometimes seems nothing more than a convenient disguise for camouflaging abuses of power.

Israel is ripping the Islamic terrorists to shreds, as it should.

“If someone comes to kill you, rise up and kill him first.”

A few days ago, I met an Israeli soldier, a paratrooper — tall, lanky, dark-skinned, unassuming, simply dressed, kippah-wearing, and originally from Tiberias, on the western shore of the Sea of ??Galilee in northern Israel.

He was stationed in Gaza for some 120 days, and after a one-month break, he will be back there in a few weeks.

Following some small talk, I asked him how things are going in Gaza — from the IDF’s perspective.

Who can stop the Democrats’ pivot away from Israel?

The turn against the Jewish state has spread from “The Squad” to Joe Biden, with exceptions like Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman standing against the pro-Hamas tide.

Ever since the first four members of the left-wing congressional “Squad” made their debuts on Capitol Hill in January 2019, centrist Democrats have sought to reassure pro-Israel voters that the quartet of radicals were outliers in their party. At the time, that was largely true since most Democratic politicians and their congressional leaders were generally pro-Israel.

Europe is swinging right, and it’s no mystery why

By David Thunder, THE CONSERVATIVE WOMAN    12 April 2024

Earth maps courtesy of NASA: http://visibleearth.nasa.gov/

THE past few years of electoral results across Europe have confirmed, without a shadow of a doubt, that Europe is swinging right, from Hungary, Italy and Greece to Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden and Finland. (See note at end.) The tendency is not completely uniform – for example, Spain’s strongly nationalist and conservative Vox party did poorly, Poland’s conservative party lost its absolute majority, and no alternative right party has yet taken off in Ireland – but it is dominant enough to reshape the European political landscape as a whole.

Special interview | Douglas Murray: ‘One truth can puncture a thousand lies’

Author and journalist Douglas Murray urges Israel advocates around the world not to give up, regardless of either ignorance or opposition in their audience.

  Apr 11, 2024,

Author and journalist Douglas Murray, who received an award of appreciation from the president of Israel and the Minister of Diaspora Affairs on Wednesday, visited the Arutz Sheva – Israel National News studio in Jerusalem to discuss the event.

“I was deeply moved and honored. I don’t do it for awards or anything. It was enormously moving to be honored for my work. I don’t see myself as a PR soldier, just as a writer and as a journalist. I think it’s very important to see things with your own eyes, and that’s always been my policy as a writer. That’s all I’ve tried to do. I guessed early on that the world would spend very little time concentrating on the massacre. The next day people were celebrating the massacre in Times Square in New York. I thought right then that I’ve got to get there as soon as I can because I thought they’ll move on to Israel’s response.”

Israel is set to normalize relations with Indonesia, the largest Muslim-majority country in the world, Ynet reported on Thursday.

The move comes after three months of secret talks between Jerusalem and Jakarta. In exchange for establishing diplomatic ties with the Jewish state, Jerusalem will reportedly lift its opposition to Indonesia becoming the 39th member of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

After 2-Year Legal Fight, CDC Releases 780,000 Vaccine Injury Reports from V-Safe System

Peloni:  So they are finally beginning to release the free text data from the V Safe system on the shots which they still have the temerity to describe as Safe and Effective.  Note that this current release is only 10% of the free text data that has been collected, and the dates of the relative injury reports have been removed to prevent any corroboration of the veracity of the studies released while using this data.  The purposeful attempts at obfuscation of these details as well as well as the absurd delay of the data release itself indicates an implication of duplicity which only the most devout proponents of old Safe and Effective will easily ignore.

After resisting legal challenges for 2 years, the CDC has finally begun to release tranches of vaccine injury data that came from the self-reporting V-safe system.

‘Sale of McDonald’s Israel is an earthquake in the business world’

Restaurant industry stakeholders trying to assess what led to McDonald’s Global’s decision to acquire its operations in Israel; ‘I find it hard to believe this move aims to prevent actions like donations to IDF’

By Navit Zommer, YNET  04.08.24 | 08:40

“It’s hard for me to believe that the chain would decide to terminate its operations in Israel, it’s an event on a level that President Biden will have to address. This whole event is puzzling. Perhaps someone at McDonald’s headquarters in Illinois doesn’t understand the implications for the Israeli public,” said a senior figure in the business world following years ago.

Only Islam Can Defeat Radical Islam

The Western world remains reluctant to acknowledge the ongoing threat posed by radical Islam. The conflict’s battleground, which initially unfolded in Israel, runs through Europe and has now extended its reach to the United States.

This war presents a new and unprecedented danger to the West. Americans and Europeans failed to recognize that radical Islam is not just a religion; it is also a political totalitarian movement akin to communism and fascism. The movement embraces a fanatical agenda that includes religious supremacy and a Marxist-type utopian/egalitarian standard of virtue. It’s sustained by an ideology embodied in unlimited human resources around the globe. It is not a nation-state and cannot be defeated militarily, nor can diplomatic solutions be found. Therefore, the war on Radical Islam is not limited to military confrontation; it is foremost an ideological and political affair.

INTO THE FRAY: Misplaced moral outrage-moronic, mendacious, or malevolent?

By Martin Sherman

Israel seeks to minimize civilian casualties, while Hamas seeks to maximize civilian casualties and use them as a propaganda tool.

“Israel has taken more steps to avoid harming civilians than any other military in history…]S[teps that Israel has taken to prevent casualties [are] historic in comparison to all these other wars.”–John Spencer, Chairman of Urban Warfare Studies, West Point, February 17, 2024.

By Elisha Ben Kimon, YNET NEWS    11 April 2024

The IDF on Thursday launched a ground assault in the central Gaza Strip, near the Nuseirat refugee camp.

Following a series of unusual strikes overnight and the bombing of a tower block in the morning hours, the IDF announced that the 162nd Division began a targeted operation in the area overnight, noting that fighter jets and drones attacked dozens of terror sites above and below ground.

“Prior to the entrance of the troops to the area, IAF fighter jets and additional aircraft struck terrorist infrastructure above and below the ground in the central Gaza Strip,” a statement read.

Israel Must Demolish Hamas, And America Must Learn Israel’s Lessons

By Lewis Dovland, AMERICAN THINKER    11 April 2024

Image: X screen grab

Israel must complete the task of eradicating Hamas from Gaza. If it fails, that will only lead to never-ending cycles of murder and mayhem, with Hamas continuing to be a threat to Israel’s population and national survival. Israel must not succumb to calls for a ceasefire, although US and world pressure is currently mounting, and a pullout of Rafeh is on the table.

The phantom voter – provably 20% of the voting population in some states – remains on the 2024 voter rolls ready to do its duty – for Joe Biden.

Virtually no phantoms have been eliminated – although – in all 50 states, tens of thousands of patriotic citizens – did all they could to show the madness of having the guy living at the strip mall – as a registered, voting, voter.
