Here’s Why Russia’s Making A Fresh Push Into Ukraine’s Kharkov Region

By ANDREW KORYBKO’S NEWSLETTER    11 May 2024

The five objectives that are enumerated in this piece encapsulate what Russia nowadays aims to achieve after over two years of intense proxy warfare with NATO.

Zelensky claimed on Friday that Russia’s long-awaited offensive had finally begun following its fresh push into Kharkov Region from which it tactically pulled back in September 2022. This precedes him likely clinging to power on legally dubious pretexts once his term expires on 21 May and aligns with the Ukrainian Intelligence Committee’s prediction of political-military troubles heading into his summer. Here are the five objectives that Russia arguably aims to achieve in view of the conflict’s larger context:

Politicians – the Enemy of the People

E. Rowell:  This critique is written from the standpoint of politicians in the U.K., the EU, Canada, and the U.S.A.  While some politicians in Israel fit this description, I do not think Prime Minister Netanyahu deserves this particular critique.  Of all heads of state across the globe, he is one of the very few who are standing up for his people and protecting the country. Many globalist billionaires support empowering Iran, Hamas, and the anti-Zionist movement in the US, as part of that goal to destroy the US and Israel.

By Paul Weston, THE CONSERVATIVE WOMAN 10 May 2024

HAS there ever been a time when the ideology and actions of Western politicians have been so out of kilter with the wishes of the electorate? I would say no, there has not. An honest appraisal would conclude that our ruling class long ago crossed the democratic Rubicon and is now a genuine enemy of the people.

Defending Freedom: A Tribute to the Warriors of Israel

By Nils A. Haug, GATESTONE    10 May 2024

As with the warriors of King David, the soldiers of Israel are again surrounded by enemies driven by hatred for the values represented by the Jewish nation and seeking their eradication. Once more, Israelis are called upon to resist forces threatening their destiny.  Pictured:  Israeli soldiers inspect the entrance to a Hamas terror tunnel just outside an UNRRWA compound in Gaza City, on February 8, 2024. • These assaults are not only aimed at Israel and its inhabitants but, ultimately, at the West.
  • Adversaries of the West — whether religious fundamentalists or authoritarian states such as China, Russia, and Iran and its allies — appear intent upon imposing a new totalitarian world order. To do so, they seek destruction of the two main countries standing in their way: United States of America and Israel, the global champions of democracy, freedom, Western values, and human rights.

Biden is betraying American interests as well as Israel

The arms cutoff shows that Washington wants to let Hamas win the war it started on Oct. 7. This will do incalculable harm to U.S. interests abroad and at home.

This isn’t the first dispute between the governments of the United States and Israel. Nor is it the first time that Washington has used the supply of arms to try to pressure the Jewish state to bend to its will. But there is no precedent for what President Joe Biden has just done.

By declaring that he will stop supplying weapons to Israel, including high-tech heavy bombs and artillery shells, if it seeks to enter Rafah and eliminate Hamas’s last remaining stronghold in Gaza, the president was making a clear declaration that the United States was mandating an end to the war that the terrorist group began with the massacre of men, women and children on Oct. 7.

Day Before Biden Admin Announced It Would Withhold Weapons From Israel, It Issued Sanctions Waiver To Allow Arms Sales to Qatar and Lebanon

Peloni:  As Biden withholds arms from Israel to fight terrorists, it authorizes arms sales to terrorist controlled nations.

Adam Kredo | The Free Beacon | May 10, 2024

Less than a day before the Biden administration announced its intent to cut off U.S. arms sales to Israel, it issued a sanctions waiver to bypass congressional prohibitions on arms sales to a host of Arab nations that boycott the Jewish state, including Hamas ally Qatar and Iran-controlled Lebanon, the Washington Free Beacon has learned.

May 9 IDSF Daily Briefing – US Withholding Munitions from Israel

Peloni:  This is an important update by Gen. Avivi.  Among other matters, Avivi shares that Israel has enough weapons to conquer Gaza and deal with the North, but that the hold on the supply of arms will change how strongly Israel can operate in the North, and also in response to further attacks from Iran.  Avivi goes on to note that before the assault on Rafah, the pressure on Israel is at its peak to keep Israel from going into Rafah, but that once the assault on Rafah is completed, the situation will change and the pressure on the US administration to release the weapons to Israel will be at that point be at its peak due to the influence of Congressmen, Senators and the public.   He also challenges all American Jews, regardless of political persuasion, to recognize that it is their responsibility to press the US govt to stop withholding vital munitions from Israel during its war against the existential threats which have so viciously attacked her.

Defending Israel with David Harris: Ambassador David Friedman

Peloni:  I usually agree with everything which Amb. Friedman states, which is why his lukewarm comments on Qatar drew my attention.  Qatar is Israels enemy.  They funded Hamas and controlled the security of the Hamas leadership, all while that leadership planned and executed the October 7 slaughter against Israel.  The Qatari claims of seeking stability in the region could not be more false, and the role which they are funding the spread of antisemitism among the youth of America is also no secret.  Not to mention the corruption in which Qatar was caught in secretly funding Gen. Allen who was lobbying on behalf of Qatar, the same Gen. Allen who is today lobbying Congress against Israel on behalf of Hamas, and who has been pushing forward the libelous claims that Israel is sexually assaulting the Pals over the past several months.  There should be no equivocating on Qatar.  They are an enemy of both Israel and America, an ally of Iran, and their claims of seeking stability are as completely duplicitous.

Ambassador David Friedman, former U.S. Ambassador to Israel, discusses the situation in Israel today, the rise in global antisemitism, and the geopolitics of the Middle East with David Harris.

Defund College

E. Rowell:  A great experiment has taken place in the USA.  The entire educational system from K through college graduation has been subverted through DEI indoctrination.  One of the first consequences of CRT and DEI is the destruction of meritocracy.  A second consequence is the normalization of racism.  A third consequence is the normalization of Jew hatred.  Federal funding for public school education and college education should be conditioned upon the ending of DEI and CRT curricula, the firing of all DEI personnel and departments, and the firing of DEI professional hires.  Colleges must show that their faculty represent a broad array of political positions.  In addition, all points of views of students are to be encouraged, with schools being required to prove that they have accomplished this before funding is re-instated.

It may be the only way to save America.

By Daniel Greenfield, FRONT PAGE MAGAZINE    9 May 2024

1 in 10 college students answered that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez had created the New Deal. And only 1 in 10 knew James Madison’s role in shaping the Constitution.

That survey from the ‘American Council of Trustees and Alumni’ was one of several warnings about the catastrophic illiteracy of college students and graduates.

The Intercollegiate Studies Institute did its own survey of over 28,000 undergraduates from 80 colleges and the average score on the civic literacy exam was an F. At top schools, including Yale, seniors actually knew less than freshmen. A Collegiate Learning Assessment found that after two years almost half of students showed “no significant gains in learning”.

The US’ Partial Arms Embargo On Israel Is Aimed At Pressuring It Into A Regional Peace Deal

By Andrew Korybko    9 May 2024

There’ll be those activist-minded members of the Mainstream Media and the Alt-Media Community who’ll pick and choose which element of this policy to focus on in advance of their ideological agenda but the fact of the matter is that the entire whole represents a comprehensive diplomatic push.

Many observers from the Mainstream Media and the Alt-Media Community alike were shocked when Defense Secretary Austin confirmed on Wednesday during a congressional testimony that the US had withheld “one shipment of high payload munitions” on the pretext that they could be used in Rafah. Biden then expanded on this newfound policy later in the day when declaring that “We’re not going to supply the weapons and artillery shells” if the IDF goes into Rafah’s population centers.

Georgia Election Officials Admit To 2020 Fraud

The State Election Board admits that Fulton County violated election law

Emerald Robinson’s The Right Way | May 9, 2024

Citizen journalist Joe Rossi showed up at the Georgia State Capitol yesterday for the State Election Board meeting to announce that America’s corrupt voting system had finally been caught beyond a shadow of a doubt.

How?

It’s now been proven that Fulton County’s hand audit and the certified machine count are both in violation of Georgia’s election law.

That’s right: Georgia’s State Election Board has been forced to admit in writing that Fulton County cheated.

The Deep State Exposed Itself

E. Rowell:  Since the end of World War II, the CIA  used its power to destroy any individual or harm any country that was deemed a “threat” to the US or to US corporations.  Under Directors Allen Dulles and Richard Helms, CIA operatives carried out assassinations of political leaders all over the world, (including our own) and they used the media to defame, delegitimize, dishonor, and destroy anyone in the public eye that they deemed a “threat.”  They used various means of hijacking elections; in the 1950’s and ’60s it was to prevent Communist parties from gaining power.  Now electoral fraud is required  to maintain its power.  Meanwhile Americans are watching.

As I’ve watched the political Uniparty and administrative Deep State conspire to destroy Donald Trump over the last eight years, a tinge of optimism has taken root inside me.  Not only have his tormentors been unsuccessful, but also a growing share of the population see the attacks against him as un-American, vindictive, and dangerous.  There is a heightened social awareness that D.C. is filled with corrupt people who operate the tentacles of government solely for their own benefit and enrichment.

John Kirby Says Israel Can’t Eliminate An Ideology With Force. History Disagrees

By David Harsanyi, THE FEDERALIST    7 May 2024

Office of the US Chief of Counsel for the prosecution of Axis criminality/Wikimedia Commons

In the 12th century, the Christian dualist movement Catharism began spreading across northern Italy and southern France. It was neither the first nor the last heretical challenge to orthodox Christianity in medieval Europe — as Catholics can surely attest.

In any event, the Cathars essentially believed, among many other heresies, in two gods: one of eternal heaven and another of worldly evil. The belief became so popular that Pope Innocent III, apparently not a fan of religious liberty, was compelled to launch the Albigensian Crusade to stamp out this theological perversion. Hundreds of thousands likely perished. In one French Cathar city, 20,000 people were reported slaughtered under papal legate.

After Gaza

Peloni: There is a great deal to be garnered from this conversation, which includes good ideas, bad suggestions, and great dilemmas, all of which face Israel as it approaches the Day After Gaza.

Too big to win

How neoconservatives and their military-industrial complex allies keep America losing

Erik Prince | Asia Times | May 3, 2024

It is painfully apparent to anyone of sound mind and judgment that there’s something gravely wrong with America’s current military capacity and our ability to project power in the world.

The WWII-era fighting force composed of 14 million GIs with a muscular industrial base backing them up is almost unimaginable today. In the last three years, five different US embassies have been hastily evacuated: Sudan, Afghanistan, Belarus, Ukraine, and Niger.

Israel won’t stop Rafah Op until goals of war are met, ex-military commander says

Peloni: There is no possibility that Israel can accept defeat in this war, none at all.  Whatever the costs, it must end in victory, and the quicker, the better – and this will result in fewer lives being lost on all sides.

Netanyahu:  ‘If we have to conquer Gaza with our fingernails, we are going to do it. We’re going to do it even if you don’t give us ammunition, even if you don’t give us weapons — we’re going in and we’re not going to lose the war.’”

Biden in message to Israel: I will stop sending bombs over major invasion of Rafah

T. Belman. Israel doesn’t need the bombs. Just as in the War of Independence  when there was an American embargo on the sale of arms to Israel, Israel sourced them elsewhere. Don’t think for a moment that Israel has been idle since Oct 7/23.

In my article Don’t Muddy the Waters, I asked two military judges, Bruce Tucker Smith, JD, LL.M. (International Law), Lt Col USAFR (ret) for a legal opinion on what restrictions or laws Israel is subject to in its self-defense and included the opinion in my post Bomb Gaza. Win the War.

In sum: Israel is free to employ ALL munitions, tactics, equipment and personnel in her arsenal to defend herself against the outlaw Hamas terrorist organization. Short of the intentional targeting and murder of truly uninvolved and innocent civilians, Israel can (and should) operate as freely as she desires to protect her territorial sovereignty and the lives of her citizens.

US President says he will halt shipments of American weapons to Israel if Netanyahu orders a major invasion of Rafah: “Civilians have been killed in Gaza as a consequence of those bombs”.

May 9/24

Joe BidenREUTERS/Kevin Lamarque

“Civilians have been killed in Gaza as a consequence of those bombs and other ways in which they go after population centers,” Biden told CNN’s Erin Burnett in an exclusive interview, referring to 2,000-pound bombs that Biden paused shipments of last week.

State AGs Push Biden Not To Hand Over Vast Pandemic Powers To WHO

Peloni:  Natation-states rather than transnational organizations must be the level at which sovereign choices, including the health care choices of their citizens, are determined and implemented.  Failing this, the decisions made by such extra-national leviathans such as the WHO will be but mandates chosen by Globalist tyrants which will be left to be administered by national leaders who will become little more than the satraps of the new globalist hivemind.

Indeed, while nations may cooperate and interact with one another, they must maintain the ability to do so due to a sovereign choice, rather than because of a contractually binding commitment to any globalist master.

Meryl Nass: We did it!!! 22 Attorneys-General in the US have told Joe Biden that the WHO will not be making public policy in their states!”

Reagan Reese | Daily Caller | May 8, 2024

REUTERS/Pierre Albouy

A band of state Attorneys Generals are urging President Joe Biden not to hand over several vast pandemic powers to the World Health Organization (WHO), the Daily Caller first learned.

Led by Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen, 22 state attorneys generals wrote a letter to Biden, obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller, voicing their concern over potential plans to give the WHO a series of powers in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. World governments have been discussing the amendments that would give the WHO more leeway to help “prevent, prepare for and respond to pandemics.” (RELATED: Bret Weinstein Warns Tucker WHO Is Making ‘Troubling’ Moves To Control Health Emergency Responses)
