Russian Space Based Nuclear Weapons

Stephen Bryen, Weapons and Strategy Substack Feb 14, 2024

In December, 2018 I wrote an article for Asia Times discussing Russia’s Avangard fractional orbiting nuclear weapon system.

Today’s revelation suggesting that Russia intends to deploy a space based nuclear weapon has elicited demands that the Biden administration tell the American people what the intelligence reports say, and that the information should all be declassified.

We now await a decision on this by Biden’s National Security Council. Jake Sullivan, the President’s National Security Advisor, is preparing to brief Members of Congress on the Intelligence Committee. At the same time it is reported that all congressmen and women have been informed in messages. Exactly what the administration’s information is, and how big a threat we face, is not yet clear.

The Truth About the Jihad in Dearborn

From the mayor on down, Dearborn, MI is a terrorist state.

by Daniel Greenfield February 14, 2024

When the Wall Street Journal ran an op-ed by a counterterrorism researcher exposing support for terrorism in Dearborn, MI, Biden didn’t condemn the hate, he condemned the op-ed.

“Americans know that blaming a group of people based on the words of a small few is wrong. That’s exactly what can lead to Islamophobia and anti-Arab hate, and it shouldn’t happen to the residents of Dearborn,” Biden tweeted.

Report: Israel won’t send delegation back to Cairo this week for further hostage talks

By Lazar Berman, TOI February 14, 2024

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will not send a delegation back to Cairo tomorrow for further talks on a hostage deal with Hamas, Walla reports.

Egypt and Qatar are looking to build momentum in the talks, and are looking to hold meetings tomorrow that avoid the main sticking point: the number of Palestinian prisoners Israel has to release in a potential deal. According to the report, tomorrow’s talks would focus on humanitarian aspects of an agreement.

Dennis Prager: The left and chaos

By Dennis Prager, BIZPAC REVIEW                                 13 February 2024

It is impossible to understand what is happening to America — and to the rest of the West — without understanding the most dynamic ideology of the last hundred years: leftism.

We need to begin with the understanding that leftism (or “progressivism”) and liberalism are not only not the same ideologies, they are in fact opposed to each other on virtually every major issue.

Do Leftists Now Believe Leftism Doesn’t Work?

In 2024—an election year—the left is trying to undo what it created without explaining why and what they did to us and themselves as well.

By Victor Davis Hanson, AM GREATNESS            12 February 2024

It is hard to destroy a naturally beautiful city like San Francisco, with ideal weather and stunning infrastructure inherited from far better earlier generations.

Yet San Francisco continues its much-publicized and self-inflicted doom loop. The productive classes still flee the increasingly crime-ridden city and its self-induced pathologies. The city is eroding not because of the doomsayers and not because of what people say about San Francisco, but because of what San Franciscans have done to San Francisco.

Sabotaging the US-Israel love affair

The Biden administration’s renewed push for a two-state solution is both destructive and self-destructive.

By Douglas Altabef, JNS        February 13, 2024

All marriages have their ups and downs. While not a marriage per se, America and Israel have enjoyed a decades-long love affair. On a people-to-people basis, that affection has been consistent. On a political level, there have been warm and cold periods.

Since the signing of the Egypt-Israel peace treaty in the late 1970s, there has been a growing obsession in the West and the U.S. in particular with finding an ultimate solution to the Middle East conflict.tions.

Glick: We just have to stop praising the administration.

Peloni:  Among other matters, Caroline raises the point that Israel must stop end its praise for Biden and his allies in Washington amid the accelerating conflict being raised between the govts of Israel and the US.  This echoes statement by Mike Doran and others who have noted that it is impossible for Israel’s allies in the US to successfully challenge the actions of the administration as he is being showered with praise from Israel which only serves to provide political cover to Biden and his Obama acolytes as they persist with their realignment with the Iranians and their allies in Gaza and the PA.  Meanwhile, Ehud Barak and his allies are trying to raise support for Biden’s proposed Pal state among Americans.  Israel’s allies require clarity and a focused direction thru which to express their support for Israel, and this begins with such efforts as Bibi has begun to press in public in recent days.

Caroline Glick tweeted the following update from Washington:

1.Ehud Barak did a spat tonight with Haim Levinson and several others in which he explained that elections should be held by June to oust Netanyahu, which would allow Biden to realize his plan to establish a Palestinian state. Here is the protocol of his words in Hebrew. He is the number 1 speaker.

2. At the same time, as he revealed @IshayFriedman  at @ErelSegal  Ami Dror, the accomplice of the rebellion, told the supporters of the rebellion in the USA that Netanyahu should be overthrown by means of 5 MKs in the coalition who would defect and form a left-wing government that could give Biden the Palestinian state.

Three Things about the Israel-Hamas War

Michael Doran, Can Kasapo?lu & Jonathan Schachter, The Hudson Institute February 13, 2024

Three Things about the Israel-Hamas War is a series from the Hudson Center for Peace and Security in the Middle East. Every week, Hudson Senior Fellows Michael DoranCan Kasapo?lu, and Jonathan Schachter will join Research Fellow Zineb Riboua to offer an analysis of one thing—and one thing only—that is of particular importance to understand the Israel-Hamas war.

Read their analysis below.:

1. President Biden will recognize a Palestinian state in the early summer.

“We support the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, and we do a lot of work inside the government to think about how to bring that about,” said State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller on January 31. Jerusalem absorbed the full weight of this statement during Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s recent visit to Israel. Last Friday, Maariv, a major Israeli newspaper, reported on the dismay Israeli officials felt over “the Biden administration falling in love with the idea of the establishment of a Palestinian state and unilateral recognition as a means of pressure on Israel.”

Sorry, but There Is No Two-State Solution

B. Kalman: This article unmasks the reality that the “owners” of the US government have created a corrupt conspiracy-a racket-with the Islamists across the Middle East-to keep the Middle East continuously destabilized.  The racket goes by a number of names, most prominently the Two State Solution, but by other names such as “the war on terror.” One underlying purpose is to jettison Israel or leave her forever wounded and weak.  Another is to make vast, unending, corporate profits through a never ending series of wars.  Anything or anyone that stabilizes Israel or the Middle East will have to be sacrificed.

Pretending there is a deal to be done with the Palestinian leadership only opens the door to another October 7. Israelis won’t be fooled.

I don’t fault any Zionist or ally of Israel for having embraced the two-state solution, as I did for many years. No other peace plan could reconcile self-interest and lofty principles so seamlessly. No other plan could offer a better way to transcend the contradictions that reality imposed on Israelis, by making a Zionist argument, no less, for Palestinian statehood. Far more powerful than a mere solution to a problem, the idea of two states was, for many of us, an irresistible form of seduction—a promise that partition could make Israel whole.

As Israelis negotiate in Cairo, far-right presses PM to reject ‘irresponsible deal’

T. Belman. This is a big test for Netanyahu. Will he stick to his words or cave to American pressure? Will he dance with the ones who brought him to government, or reject them in favour of his emergency coalition.

Ben Gvir says he trusts Netanyahu to halt negotiations after medicines not delivered to hostages; Smotrich suggests Mossad’s time better spent in Gaza

By SAM SOKOL

In a letter to Netanyahu on Tuesday, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir demanded an end to humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, after the niece of rescued hostage Fernando Marman revealed that he never received any medication while in captivity, despite a Qatar-brokered deal that was supposed to see this happen.

Even as Israeli officials, under American pressure, take part in ceasefire talks in Cairo, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remains under intense domestic pressure from his hard-right coalition allies to reject what they see as an “irresponsible deal” to halt the IDF’s ongoing offensive in the Gaza Strip.

Qatar Is The Trojan Horse In Washington, D.C.

B.Kalman: It is not mind boggling that those currently operating the US government consider Qatar an ally.  It is however, revealing that those operating the US government have a business model predicated on a real alliance with Qatar and Iran at the expense of the countries they call “allies” in the Middle East.  These so-called “allies” are treated more as adversaries to be checkmated by Iran and Qatar at every turn.

Qatar has failed President Biden again: Hamas’s answer to proposed deal was, as the immediate reaction from the president and Secretary of State Antony Blinken showed, “over the top”[1] and “absolute non-starters,”[2] respectively. This happened because Qatar is not pressuring Hamas. It sees itself as a mere go-between.[3] Qatar isn’t pressuring Hamas despite the fact that in reality, Qatar is the lifeline of Hamas – its hope, its future, its power to continue to fight and to hold the hostages.

The root cause of Arab Palestinism is killing Jews

Arafat killed more Jews after he received the Nobel Peace Prize than he did before. And Biden wants the Arab vote, so he is publicly punishing four Israelis, but not Mahmoud Abbas who rewards Arab murderers. A look at hard facts and history.

By Barry Shaw. INN

Joseph TrumpeldorFlash 90

When you examine the rhetoric of pro-Palestinians, when you cut through the fraud and lies of their narrative, one thing is clear. They all hate Jews. The Palestinian Arabs themselves, however, take it one stage further. They slaughter Jews.

They may dress it up in a supposedly “righteous” cause but, at the end of the day, all they have is this obsession with murdering Jews. Always have, even before they adopted a “Palestine” cause to cloak their anti-Semitism in a garb of nationalism.

Democracy in Poland

Poland’s democratic transition is proving to be turbulent and challenging.

The liberal center-right government led by Donald Tusk took office on December 13, 2023, after eight years of rule by “Law and Justice,” a nationalist right-wing party. The new government’s reform efforts face the kind of domestic opposition that may pose the biggest threat to democracy in Poland since its initial fluorescence in the 1980s.

Biden’s Middle East Anti-Strategy

American posture in the region is inherently at odds with the goal of keeping Americans safe.

By Reid Smith, AM CONSERVATIVE                        13 February 2024

President Biden has launched a military campaign in retaliation for the death of three Army reservists killed in a drone attack on their remote outpost in Jordan. When asked to expand on the president’s strategic aims, John Kirby was evasive. The National Security Council spokesman explained that it was “very possible” the U.S. would pursue “a tiered approach” which could entail “not just a single action, but potentially multiple actions” that would occur “over a period of time.”

This approach obscures the aims of U.S policy with a wink and a smile. Setting aside euphemisms for “going to war,” the proposed activities and timeline are deliberately unclear. Considered in context of Kirby’s remarks, one can safely imagine a campaign that will last longer than discrete strikes but shorter than the war in Afghanistan. Even then, this riposte may only further escalate regional chaos without hastening talk of victory or ticker-tape parades.

Still, one must wonder: What is the objective, and how will we achieve it?

Friedman, who claimed Jews bribe Congress, just got a speaking engagement at Temple Emanuel Synagogue

By Moshe Phillips

One of America’s most prominent synagogues, Temple Emanu-El, in Manhattan, will be hosting a two-night “Virtual Summit on Antisemitism” later this month. And then, three weeks later, it will host a talk by a pundit who has claimed Jews bribe Congress.

Does that make any sense?

New York Times columnist Thomas L. Friedman wrote in his Dec. 13, 2011 column that the standing ovations Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received when he addressed Congress that year were “bought and paid for by the Israel lobby.”

Israeli housing minister kickstarts process to evict UNRWA

Peloni:  It is well past time for this.

Yitzhak Goldknopf instructed the Israel Lands Authority “to immediately end all agreements” with the “nefarious” organization over its ties to Hamas.

By Israel Today Staff | Feb 13, 2024

Israeli Housing and Construction Minister Yitzhak Goldknopf has instructed the Israel Land Authority (ILA) to immediately cancel all lease agreements with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency and evict it from its main headquarters in eastern Jerusalem.

UNRWA “acted in the service of Hamas and even took part in the brutal massacre on Oct. 7, and mounting evidence shows that the organization has been supporting, assisting and educating [Palestinians] to harm Israel,” Goldknopf wrote in a letter made public on Monday night.
