IDF fears Hezbollah may attempt to invade from Jordan

T. Belman. The Jordanian border used to the safest. No longer. Jordan is doing nothing to stop the smuggling or to secure the border.  In fact it is behind the smuggling.  The King has to go.

Following a spike in smuggling from over the border, fears rise that Iran’s proxies may attempt to attack Israel from Jordanian territory.

Israel National News    Jan 1, 2024, 8:03 AM (GMT+2)

The IDF is fundamentally changing its operational preparedness on the Jordanian border in light of an uptick in weapons smuggling from the kingdom and the fear of Iranian-backed terror attacks that may occur along it during 2024, Israel Hayom reported on Monday.

According to the report, the scenario of reference for which the IDF Central Command is preparing is an attempt by Hezbollah, or other pro-Iranian militias, to infiltrate the Jordanian border into nearby Israeli communities.

By David Israel, JEWISH PRESS–  – December 31, 2023

Hakol Hayehudi on Sunday revealed a new document issued by the Home Front Command detailing the dangers facing the State of Israel on the eastern border and raises the concern that all of Hezbollah’s activity in the north is only intended to distract from the real attack that will come from the east.

Using only known sources, the document details the deployment of Iran’s forces in Syria and raises the concern that the Jordanian army is also preparing to attack from the east.

Securing the “Philadelphi Corridor”: A Strategic Imperative for Israel

The imminent seizure of the “Philadelphi Corridor” by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) along the Gaza Strip border with Egypt underscores the critical importance of controlling this key passageway.

By Yoni Ben Menachem, JCPA   28 December 2023

The corridor, stretching approximately 14 km along the entirety of the Gaza-Egypt border, has become a highway for weapon smuggling from Egypt into the hands of Hamas.

Despite Egypt’s denial of the existence of smuggling tunnels beneath the corridor, security officials argue that the Philadelphi Corridor serves as the primary route for weapons bound for Hamas.

Both Egypt and Hamas vehemently oppose Israel’s control over the corridor.

The Day After

Ending the two-state delusion is the best response to the October 7 massacre.

By Dr. Michael L. Wise, INN

There is a raging debate in Israel and in the United States among friends and foes of Israel: What is Israel’s military objective in Gaza? What should be Israel’s response to the October 7 massacre?

Prime minister Netanyahu and his spokespersons have frequently committed to the following three objectives for Israel’s fifth military campaign in Gaza over the past 75 years: The release of hostages (not the first time); the elimination of Hamas (reminds us of the elimination of the Fedayeen in 1956); and the assurance that Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israeli citizens (sounds like phase one of the Oslo handover in 1995 and Sharon’s promise upon withdrawal from Gaza in 2005).

Innovation Minister: ‘The day after must be decided by the full Cabinet’

Minister Ofir Akunis says that all decisions on the future of Gaza must be made by the full Cabinet, not by the more limited War Cabinet.

Minister Ofir Akunis (left)Knesset press release

Innovation Minister Ofir Akunis commented on reports that Israel is creating a plan for the day after the war on his way to the Cabinet meeting today.

“The day after must be deliberated in one place only, the place that has been given the trust of the Knesset – the full Cabinet. With all due respect, and much respect is due, to the War Cabinet, the State Security Cabinet, or the Expanded Cabinet – according to tradition, any state affair is traditionally brought to the full Cabinet.”

Israel ready to let ships bring aid to Gaza’s shores, FM Cohen says

“We want disengagement, with security control. That’s the goal of this process,”

HAARETZ/ REUTERS

Israel is prepared to let ships deliver aid to the war-ravaged Gaza Strip “immediately” as part of a proposed sea corridor from Cyprus, the Israeli foreign minister said on Sunday, naming four European countries as potential participants.

Under the arrangement first suggested by Nicosia in November, cargo would undergo security inspection in the Cypriot port of Larnaca before being ferried to the Gaza coast, 370 km (230 miles) away, rather than through neighboring Egypt or Israel. If the plan goes ahead, it would mark the first easing of an Israeli naval blockade imposed on Gaza in 2007 after militant Hamas Islamists seized control of the Palestinian enclave.

Israel reportedly kills 11 senior Iranians in Syria, all but wipes out eastern command

The report further claimed that the attack was aimed against a delegation that had landed at the airport and met with other senior figures. The sources claimed that this was a more significant event than the elimination of former Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani about four years ago.

‘Dark Money Nightmare’: How Qatar Bought the Ivy League

by Robert Williams, GATESTONE December 31, 2023

  • “At least 100 American colleges and universities illegally withheld information on approximately $13 billion in undocumented contributions from foreign governments, many of which are authoritarian…. Speech intolerance—manifesting as campaigns to investigate, censor, demote, suspend, or terminate speakers and scholars—was higher at institutions that received undocumented money from foreign regimes.” — ISGAP report, “The Corruption of the American Mind,” November 2023.

What Hamas Did to the Girls and Women in Gaza

The full horror of what happened to them is now coming out. It is just what you expected. More on the rapes, tortures, and murders of Israeli girls and women on October can be found here: “In harrowing detail, NYT reports on weaponization of rape, sexual violence on Oct. 7,” Times of IsraelDecember 29, 2023:

VERY GOOD NEWS ISRAEL

By Michael Ordman, VGNI

The photo (TY Aubrey) is of a Hebrew sign that translates as “We will win in Gaza”.  The sign can also be translated as “We will win with God’s help”.  Amen.

As 2023 comes to an end, I unashamedly write this introduction with much emotion. There are now definite signs that Israel is winning the war against Hamas in Gaza. It cannot fail, thanks to a winning team of supporters in Israel and across the globe who, like the many thousands of readers of this newsletter, have been donating time, money, skills, accommodation, essential supplies, and more, to help the IDF fight against those wishing to destroy the Jewish State and civilization as a whole.

Eastern Horizon: Israel and India’s Unrealized Strategic Alliance

Peloni: The rising alliance between Israel and India is both impressive and important.

The new geopolitical landscape following the October 7th terror attacks has highlighted a crucial yet largely unrecognized alliance between Israel and India. Increased Indian interest in the Jewish state should serve as a signal for Israel to broaden its diplomatic focus beyond its traditional allies in the West.

Never before Oct 8. had Israel been flooded with so many Indian reporters. Of the few thousand foreign journalists who rushed to Israel to cover the war, over a hundred arrived from India, including many of the most famous faces of Indian media.

I received multiple offers for reporting positions, and I chose Republic TV, India’s most viewed and most right-wing TV network. When I traveled to the residence of President Yitzhak Herzog to request an interview with our anchor in Delhi, they informed me that they were not intentionally ignoring my channel’s previous requests, but were simply swamped by inquiries from no fewer than 37 Indian outlets, each claiming it was the biggest in India.

Israel is hoping to push the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, out of the Gaza Strip post-war, Channel 12 reported, citing a high-level, classified Foreign Ministry report.

According to the report, the document recommends three stages to the move. The first involves a comprehensive report on alleged UNRWA cooperation with Hamas, which rules Gaza, and the entanglement of the UN body that provides welfare and humanitarian services for Palestinian refugees from the 1948 and 1967 wars and their descendants, with the terror group.

DEI Looks to Be on Its Deathbed After Woke Giants Announce Slashes to Diversity Budgets

By Samantha Chang, The Western Journal Dec. 29, 2023

Pro-Black Lives Matter corporate giants Google and Meta joined a growing list of virtue-signaling companies that slashed their “diversity” budgets in 2023 amid a rough year for the tech industry.

“Some companies have laid off DEI [diversity, equity and inclusion] staffers and leaders of diverse employee resource groups, downsized learning and development programs and cut budgets for external DEI groups by as much as 90 percent in 2023,” CNBC reported Friday.

The DEI cuts are a laughable reversal of the virtue-signaling bluster some companies trumpeted in the wake of the BLM riots following the May 2020 death of George Floyd.

Our Razor’s Edge

For weeks, the American people have been relatively silent as they digested these ongoing catastrophes. But at some point, their patience will run out.

By

At the end of the year, we are on the razor’s edge of many things that soon may blow up.

Americans are far beyond President Joe Biden’s serial untruths of some eight years that he never discussed Hunter Biden’s various get-rich-quick schemes.

All were predicated on the perception of foreign interests purchasing from the Biden family the influence of then-senator, vice president, and possibly soon-to-be President Joe Biden.

Volunteers build over 30,000 portable chargers for IDF soldiers

By Caroline Haiat, i24 NEWS    30 December 2023

Volunteers in Tel Aviv/Caroline Haiat/i24 News

Participants, from all generations, sit down for hours to serve the IDF and be part of the immense outpouring of solidarity seen throughout the country.

Friday morning, in the basement of the synagogue at 86 Ben Yehuda Street in Tel Aviv, there was excitement: around fifty French, Israeli, Anglo-Saxon volunteers, children and adults were making chargers for the soldiers of IDF who are fighting at the front.

Installed around several tables, at different positions, the volunteers distribute the tasks and carry out real factory work, while the soldiers themselves come to collect the precious object, which for some, will “save their lives”. says Shaked, at the origin of the project.
