T. Belman. Amir Avivi is the most important voice in Israel outside of the government. He is the founder of IDSF whci consists of 16,000 reserve officers and operatives from all branches of the Israeli security forces dedicated to guiding the narrative of Israel’s national security needs and ensuring that Israel’s security in the homeland of the Jewish people is never taken for granted. Martin Sherman is part of their think tank. He and Martin both support the removal of the Gazans and the annexation of Gaza. He also said that this war could easily take another year. Hopefully Trump will be reelected as President giving rise to a whole new world.

T. Belman. Michel Cotler -Wunsh is the daughter of Irwin Cotler who served for many years as Canada’s Justice Minister. She is an Israeli politician. She served as a member of the Knesset for the Blue and White alliance from 2020 to 2021. She currently is special envoy for combating antisemitism for Israel.

T. Belman. Israel is committed to destoying Hamas. That much is certain. Biden is on board for this, so far. But he is forcing Israel to take more casualties to reduce the Gazan casualties.

At the same time, Israel has pledged that she will not annex Gaza or any part of it. This is not good enough for many Israelis. They believe Israel has the right to reclaim Gaza, that the Palestinians must lose land to know they have lost. The Rules of War provide that in a defensive war, the country that has been attacked has the right to acquire land from the aggressor. Unfortuneately, Biden is opposed to any annexation.

Pressures on Israel from Washington and other Western capitals are mounting to curtail the campaign to destroy Hamas, because of the humanitarian toll in Gaza.

Israeli government leaders must resist these pressures with all their might. They must persist in pounding Hamas-ISIS to smithereens until every last Hamas commander is dead, every last Hamas terror attack tunnel is destroyed, and every last Hamas missile bunker is obliterated.

T. Belman.This article is the opposite of what I thought it was. It highlights the opposition to Biden’s “decision to aggressively back Israel’s war against Hamas.” While Israel complains Biden is screwing us, many in the US administration are complining he is doing too much for Israel.

It’s a much better discussion than the one taking place in public.

Analysts predicted that Hamas would inflict terrible casualties on the IDF. They were wrong

The Israel Defence Forces have been attacking Hamas in Gaza from land, sea and air for two weeks now, following a three-week air campaign. Before ground operations began, US military advisers urged the Israelis not to launch a large-scale campaign, which they believed would result in an IDF bloodbath – and be less effective than a combination of air strikes and special forces raids. The IDF rejected that advice, and moved into Gaza with a large combined arms force. And it has confounded its critics.

The war in Gaza entered its 35th day this morning, November 10 – one day more than the 2006 Lebanon war, which at the time was described as a frustrating stalemate in which Israel found it difficult to vanquish the enemy, Hezbollah. The circumstances this time, in a war that is currently focused on Hamas, are harder.

Israel went into the war with a terrible deficit, as a result of a harrowing intelligence and preparedness failure on October 7. By the time the Israel Defense Forces recovered and started to fight back effectively, nearly 1,200 Israelis had already been killed and about 240 abducted in Hamas’ murderous terrorist onslaught. Since then, all that has been done, and will be done, is comparable to a desperate attempt to pursue a foe that has already turned on the burners and is speeding ahead.

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant repeats in a press statement that Israel will not stop the fighting against the Hamas terror group in Gaza until the at least 239 captives held in the Strip are returned.

He notes the dozens of kids abducted and held by “animals,” vowing: “We won’t stop the fighting until we get them back. What father stops looking for their children? I see them as my own kids.”
