The US and Israel are planning to form a joint team to hold discreet negotiations on the reopening of the US Consulate for Palestinian Arabs in Jerusalem, Israeli officials told Barak Ravid of Axios on Wednesday.

The consulate handled relations with the Palestinian Arabs before being shut down by former President Donald Trump. President Joe Biden has promised to reopen it, but he needs approval from the Israeli government. Meanwhile, senior officials in Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s government see the consulate issue as a political hot potato that could destabilize their unwieldy coalition.

The decision by the European Union (EU) and Germany to launch the East Jerusalem Tourism Development Programme is in reality a blatant attempt by them to see Jerusalem divided by creating political facts on the ground under the guise of helping promote tourism in East Jerusalem.

The German representative – Oliver Owcza – was quite happy to create this tourism smokescreen:

“As Germans and Europeans we value tourism that is of quality and locally owned. We therefore are confident this project will connect the tourism community and support new concepts and services. As it will contribute to more and better job and career opportunities”

Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson issued a legal opinion saying that his office won’t seek disciplinary action against doctors who prescribe hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin as off-label medicines to treat or prevent COVID-19, as long as they are not engaging in any misconduct.

The opinion (pdf), issued on Oct. 14, was in response to a request from Dannette Smith, CEO of the state’s Department of Health, which licenses and disciplines doctors. Smith asked whether it would be “deemed unlawful or otherwise subject to discipline” for doctors to prescribe ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, or other “off label use” medications to treat or prevent COVID-19.

T. Belman. Ganz is a putz. He is committed to stregthening the PA even though they continue to support terrorism and build illegally in Area C. Gants wants to improve “important ties we have with the Palestinian Authority, which I believe we need to strengthen,”. Gantz also got the Israeli government to loan to the PA all the money it has withheld from them.

This article is very unclear as to where these individuals are currently residing. Sometimes it says the West Bank”.  Sometimes “Judea and Samaria”.  Really?  It should be either Area A, Area B or Area C.

It does say though Ramallah cannot issue valid identity cards on its own without Israeli approval, which has left many Palestinians unable to secure documentation.”.  What is left entirely unclear is who is at fault.  My guess is the the PA won’t issue residence permits in Area A or B even with Israel approval.

Israel announced on Tuesday it had officially legalized the status of 4,000 Palestinians in the West Bank, following a decade-long freeze in which almost no such requests were authorized.

The move was part of the government’s ongoing effort — led by Defense Minister Benny Gantz — to strengthen the Palestinian Authority. Senior PA official Hussein al-Sheikh said in a statement that the names of those approved would be announced later on Tuesday.

A new “peer-reviewed” paper has been released from Cornell University titled “Greater than 99% Consensus on Human Caused Climate Change in the Peer-Reviewed Scientific Literature.”

The study is yet another attempt to convey the nebulous notion that widespread scientific consensus exists regarding the primary causal factor behind climate change. A previous study, spearheaded by climate blogger activist John Cook, concluded in 2013 there was “97 percent consensus.” Despite near universal acclaim and its citation by leading policymakers such as the United Kingdom’s energy minister, the study was inherently flawed.

The central statistic in this whistleblower story is important. In a community with a 50% vaccination rate, 90% of the hospital admissions were vaccinated patients, and most of the critical care hospital intakes were within 14 days of the patient taking the vaccine. An alarmed physicians assistant began reporting those issues into the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting system until the hospital administration stepped in to stop her from recording the frequency. She felt obligated to become a whistleblower:

BEIRUT  — Lebanon’s Hezbollah leader declared for the first time on Monday that the powerful terror group has 100,000 trained fighters. His speech appeared to be meant as a deterrent to domestic foes following the nation’s worst internal violence in years.

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah disclosed the size of the Shiite group’s militant arm in his first speech since seven people were killed in gunbattles on the streets of Beirut on Thursday — the worst street violence the city has seen in years. The confrontation erupted over a long-running probe into last year’s massive port blast in the city.

In response to Hannah Rose’s and Ruben Gerczikow’s op-ed last week in Haaretz, we would like to provide some “alternative facts” about the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, especially why we established the “Jews in the AfD” (JAfD), our party’s Jewish branch, and why our vice-president Marcel Goldhammer, a Jewish ex-IDF soldier, was running on the AfD ticket for the German Parliament.

The reason Rose’s and Gerczikow’s piece lacks facts and needs a supplement lies not only in the circumstance that Gerczikow himself is not an independent analyst, but works for the CDU government party (which he neglects to mention). The reason lies in the authors’ ideological background, as well.
