Iran Fantasizes That It Has Israel On The Run

The Mullahs’ delusions.

By Hugh Fitzgerald, FRONTPAGEMAG

Iranian leaders have a rich fantasy life. Possibly It has something to do with their deep belief in the Return of the Hidden Imam. Twelver Shi’ism may have its points, but a grasp of reality is not one of them. Iran has recently become convinced, despite all the evidence, that it has been outplaying Israel ever since its drone attack on the MV Mercer Street in the Gulf of Oman.

The report on this development is here: “Iran believes it has Israel on the run,” by Seth J. Frantzman, Jerusalem Post, August 7, 2021:

New Poll Reveals a Stunning Number of Dems Favor Socialism, But Do They Know What It Is?

Ted Belman. I am not surprised. Many people prefer to be taken care of rather than to be responsible for themselves. Eric Fromm made this point in his book Escape from Freedom.  The current pandemic forced people to give up their independence and freedom in exchange for dole and other benefits from the state.  This is all being paid for by printing money which is causing inflation which erodes one’s savings. Inflation amounts to a confiscation of wealth.  In effect the middle class is paying for all the benefits being distributed.

Like Margaret Thatcher once said, “pretty soon you run out of other people’s money.” Capitalism creates wealth. Socialism squanders it.

By Alex Parker, RED STATE

Between socialism and capitalism, which would you pick? Americans were recently served a similar query. An August 7-10 Fox News survey measured perspectives on governmental systems. The results for registered Democrats were especially noteworthy. Read more…

The Agenda for Serfdom in the Land of the Free

By Janet Levy, AM THINKER

Conservative commentator Glenn Beck’s dystopic novel Agenda 21 opens with the chilling line: They took Mother away today.  Written in collaboration with Harriet Parke, the novel creates a regimented world in which people are relocated from the countryside to cities, where, under constant surveillance and threat of punishment, they can do nothing but what the authorities decide.  The aged mother is taken away because for two days she failed to generate her quota of electricity by walking her energy board.  The adult daughter has tried to make up the quota and get food for two but has apparently been found out.  It’s a world where animals, plants, and the wilderness take primacy over humans.  And there are no property rights — or any rights, for that matter.  The Authority, drawing on a law called Agenda 21, takes care of everything.

‘Construction in Area C is a demonstration of sovereignty’

T. Belman.  I agree with the Mayor. Allowing the construction of 1000 units adjacent to Area B or A gives Israel more leeway on the rest of C. Also its answers the High Court which has been responsive to Arab arguments that building permits aren’t available to Arabs.  This proves they are at very little cost to Israel.  It also enables Israel to build 2000 units with less push back by the world.

By the way, when the Arabs complain that they are bursting at the seams and need more land to build, Israel tells them to build up (increase density) not out just as it does.

Finally, I don’t think those 1000 units will be build so quickly just as the 700 approved in 2018 weren’t built. The reason for this is that the Arab population in Area A, B and C  has been declining due to emigration. so the demand isn’t really there. Yoram Ettinger tells me its closer to 1.5 million residents rather than 1.8 million as previously reported by him.

Actually 3200 units were approved by professional bodies but Bennett reduced it by 1000 so as to not anger the Biden Administration just before Bennett meets with Biden in DC.  I disagree with this reduction.  It shows weakness not strength.  So what if it is angry.

Efrat Mayor responds to critics of the approval of housing units for Palestinian Arabs.

By Nitsan Keidar, INN Aug 13 , 2021 5:34 AM

Efrat Mayor Oded Revivi finds it difficult to understand the criticism of the approval of 1,000 housing units for Palestinian Arabs in Area C.

“We must remember that in the end we are waging a struggle in which we want to reach a decision in Area C and prove that we are the sovereign. The government takes a step and says: We decide where the Palestinians will build and when. And there are those who aren’t thinking and are coming out against it, instead of realizing that it is an act of demonstration of sovereignty,” Revivi told Arutz Sheva on Thursday.

Antisemitism and the Jewish State

By Victor Rosenthal

Jews have always been in the minority in their temporary diasporic homes, and so they have usually been at the mercy of antisemites. If at a given time and place they are not actively persecuted, the possibility of persecution always remains, as European and even American Jews are rediscovering today. The commandment to keep one’s suitcase packed is no less apt today than in previous centuries.

Despite the heartwarming (but illusory) feeling of a worldwide solidarity of good people engendered by Yair Lapid’s recent remarks that antisemitism is just a particular form of a much more general collection of religious, ethnic, racial (etc.) hatreds that all those of good will should decry, the pervasiveness of antisemitism over the millennia and its shape-shifting nature show that it is indeed sui generis, unique. And we learned from the Holocaust that the Jewish people ultimately must stand alone against it.

TIERNEY’S REAL NEWS

Tierney’s Real News (8/12/21)

Day two of Lindell’s Cyber Symposium wrapped up last night with great presentations by Seth Keshel & others. I will recap them in a separate post about election fraud.

This morning, however, it came out that Mike was attacked at his hotel last night and Colonel Waldron said the entire team had received numerous physical & cyber attacks over the past two weeks. There are fake press & Communist agitators at the Symposium right now – trying to get into participants’ phones – and also uploading dangerous material into the data streams to try to destroy the work. They’ve been identified and their names turned over to the relevant authorities.

Why I Refuse to Be Vaccinated

By Steve McCann, AM THINKER

I have been vilified for refusing to be jabbed with an experimental vaccine.  I have been told that I am among the worst people on the face of the earth as that refusal is putting an inordinate number of people at risk of near-certain death.  That it is my civic duty and obligation to be swept up in the hysteria and march meekly in lockstep with whatever the omniscient government bureaucrats tell us to do.  That I must sacrifice personal choices and freedom for the benefit of the collective.  That, in fact, the choice to get a vaccine and to wear a mask is an expression of one’s freedom to be a moral citizen and to protect family, community, and country.

Joe Biden has told me that I am unpatriotic, and a very stupid person for not being vaccinated and robotically believing his claim: “You’re not going to get Covid if you have these vaccines.”  (That is an out-and-out lie.)

The government is slated to approve new building in Palestinian areas of the West Bank as well as in Jewish settlements.

Defense Minister Benny Gantz has approved the construction of 1,000 Palestinian homes in the Israeli-controlled Area C, mostly in the Jenin and Bethlehem areas, a defense official confirmed to The Times of Israel Wednesday

Meanwhile, the ministry’s Civil Administration will also okay some 2,000 new homes in West Bank settlements, for the first time since both Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and US President Joe Biden took office.

Women’s and Gender Studies departments go all in for ‘Palestine’

By Civis Americanus, AM THINKER

It is grossly unfair to judge all police officers based on the actions of a handful like Derek Chauvin, all Black people from the behavior of Patrisse Cullors and Black Lives Matter Global Network, or all Caucasians from the actions of swastika-waving white supremacists like Andrew Anglin.

It is however reasonable to judge the fields of Gender and Women’s Studies, Feminist Studies, and similar academic programs from the endorsement by roughly a hundred such university departments of anti-Israel hate propaganda that denies Israel’s right to exist.  The Palestine Action Toolkit, from the same Palestine Feminist Collective supported by these departments, goes even farther: “78% of historic Palestine was stolen to create the Israeli state.  This catastrophe was greenlighted and supported by the United Nations.”  In addition, “There is Only One Solution: Intifada! Revolution!” and “From the River to the Sea! Palestine Will Be Free!”

The first new rule for the IDF should be disproportionality

By Gregg Roman, jns

(August 10, 2021 / JNS) Since the dawn of time, the primary, and frequently only, goal in any war of conflict has been victory. The means to that end on the part of the ultimate victors has been almost entirely disproportionate.

Those with the latest expertise and technology—from the Roman ballista to the canons during the Battle of Crecy and the nuclear weapons that ended World War II in the Pacific—have invariably won the war they fought.

In the past, investing in the art of warfare was never thought to put an opponent at an unfair disadvantage. The rules of war are not akin to boxing’s Queensberry’s Rules, according to which “you must not fight simply to win.”

What’s Inside Sen. Sanders’ $3.5 Trillion Budget

BY Joseph Lord, EPOCH TIMES

News Analysis

On Aug. 11, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) publicly released the full text of Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-Vt.) $3.5 trillion budget proposal. A few hours later, the Senate narrowly confirmed the budget 50-49. Now, the budget must win approval from the House of Representatives after they return from their recess.

The outline is expected to be the first step in the Democrats’ ambitious plans for increased Federal spending on “human infrastructure,” including education, health care, and housing initiatives. However, the resolution does not include an increase to the debt ceiling, setting the stage for another political battle when Congress returns.

The Reason Biden Is Moving Troops to Jordan

T. Belman.  I have known for some time that there is a troop build up in Jordan.  Most of it is public knowledge.  It is less clear why the US is there or what they will do in the event the King falls.

JaFaJ Intelligence Solutions    August 10, 2021

Introduction
—————-
1-On the 21st of March 2021, the Official Gazette of the Jordanian Hashemite Kingdom published the details of a military cooperation agreement between Jordan and the US. The agreement details extensive powers granted by Jordan to the US troops. Among those powers mentioned is freedom of operations within Jordan itself as well as immunity to all forms of responsibilities that may result from any military procedures.

2- In Jordan, it is well known that when a resolution, law or agreement is published in the Official Gazette, it is considered “A final, permanent act”, making it very hard to change or alter. The publishing of this agreement in the Jordanian Official Gazette, cements in stone the principals and language contained in the agreement, making it close to irrevocable.

$3.5 Trillion Budget Reconciliation Package Includes Mass Amnesty for Millions of Illegals

T. Belman.  If anyone sees an article that explains how the Bill supports more than infrastructure, please share. I want to highlight how it supports the Democratic agenda.

By Eric Lendrum, AM GREATNESS

The Democrats’ massive budget reconciliation package, finally revealed on Monday, includes a plan to give mass amnesty to “millions of” illegal aliens in the United States, according to The Hill.

The $3.5 trillion spending package will provide $107 billion for the Senate Judiciary Committee to determine the fastest route for providing blanket amnesty, with a deadline of September 15th to come up with such a solution. The bill itself does not single out any particular group of illegals or preferred methods, but instead orders the committee to provide “lawful permanent status for qualified immigrants,” as well as handing out green cards to “millions of immigrant workers and families.”

Israel has recorded 914,403 coronavirus cases, including 6,580 deaths, since the onset of the global pandemic in March 2020.
