Chinese Communist Party “experts” urged the World Health Organization (W.H.O.) on Tuesday to let China build and run a global database for “vaccine passports” documenting if every person on earth has received a Chinese coronavirus vaccine.

The Communist Party launched its domestic “vaccine passport” system Wednesday, despite W.H.O. officials urging countries not to implement such a system due to unequal access to vaccines and the variety in the quality of the available offerings around the world. The “vaccine passport” — A digital certification that confirms a person has received a coronavirus vaccination — joins China’s larger “social credit system,” which judges every citizen and awards them numerical “scores” based on how much the Party approves of their behavior. The behavior judged can vary from littering and volunteering, which result in respectively lower or higher social credit scores, to the display of public opinions either in favor or against the Communist Party.

• China is certainly not the only foreign government that has made American politicians wealthy, either directly or indirectly. Given the size of their economy and the wealth of commercial ties between U.S. business and China, however, they do it bigger and more broadly than anyone else. This beneficence, I believe, poses potentially serious questions about China’s influence, China’s access to American policy makers, and China’s activities in the halls of power. Further, it shows the toothlessness of American ethics watchdogs that these issues have not been more thoroughly reviewed and challenged previously.

T. Belman. This is outrageous.  It appears from this that these corporations are in charge and the Democratic Party are their lackies.  Not the other way around.

To my mind, these corporations should not be permitted to do this. Texas just introduced a bill that prohibits corporations like FB from interfering in how elections are run in Texas.

The Biden Administration announced last week that it is resuming funding for UNRWA, the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, allocating $150 Million a year as “a means to advance a negotiated two-state solution.” Whatever the Administration’s true intentions are, advancing a two-state solution cannot seriously be the goal. The Administration is consciously choosing to fund an agency that is institutionally committed to ensuring that peace will never be possible.

T. Belman.  My suggestion was that Israel Katz become PM and Netanyahu become FM.  But this was a non-starter as one can’t serve as a Minister if they are indicted. This article refers to a variation of my suggestion that would work; namely to elect Netanyahu as President and then to include the duties of the President the role of a Foreign Minister.

T. Belman.  The article refers to this assistance as “humanitarian assistance “.  So does Biden.   Congress  knows that the PA and UNRWA indoctrinate the children to hate and kill Jews.  At a minimum, I would expect such support to be contingent on UNRWA cleaning up its act. But it isn’t.

Prince Philip, who has died at 99, was perhaps the closest member of the British royal family to Jews and Jewish causes, and in 1994 made a historic visit to Israel. Although the trip was a personal one, made to honor his mother, Princess Alice of Greece, who is buried on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, it marked the end of an unofficial boycott of the Jewish state by the British monarchy. His grandson Prince William made the first official royal visit in 2018.

The Deep State has done its best to portray Black Lives Matter as a moderate movement.  Wikipedia describes BLM as “a decentralized political and social movement protesting against incidents of police brutality and all racially motivated violence against black people.”  Wikipedia says its loose structure has contributed to confusion in the press.  The confusion is convenient because it allows BLM to disavow any comments by its members the public finds offensive.  Wikipedia claims BLM, “protests have been overwhelmingly peaceful; when violence does occur, it is often committed by police or by counter-protestors.  Despite this, opponents have falsely portrayed the movement as violent.”  House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer doesn’t “accept” the premise that Antifa and BLM are violent.  ABC’s Sunny Hostin maintains that violent protests are “manufactured by the Trump campaign.”  All branches of the Deep State assert that BLM is a respectable non-violent movement.

And we just got into all these different, interesting topics, everything from his perspective on leadership, starting as a second Lieutenant, right out of West Point during the Cold War in West Germany, to his time as director of the Central Intelligence Agency to his tenure as Secretary of State.
