The Western cultural Stockholm Syndrome

Are US leftists, so enamoured of the supposed victims of racism, creating an antisemitic Stockholm Syndrome of “domestic terrorists”?

By Howard Rotberg, INN

Hamas terrorists in Gaza

Hamas terrorists in Gaza – Abed Rahim Khatib/Flash 90

I spend a lot of time reading about and writing about worrisome cultural trends in what have traditionally been the liberal democracies of the West, including America, Canada, Australia, Israel and a weakening Europe.

I am saddened when I contemplate the extent to which our traditional free society has succumbed to:

  • an excessive tolerance of evil (which, in a book by the same name, I term “tolerism”);
  • a masochistic self-hatred, leading to threats to our fundamental liberties; and
  • ultimately a submission or surrender to what I call the Leftist-Islamist-Globalist alliance.

We make compromises in our freedoms to accommodate fascist collusion among leftist Democrats, big Tech censorship, our education and university systems, and media that blatantly ignores stories that challenge their bias.

Jewish Woman Sees Numbers Tattooed on Uncle’s Arm;

T. Belman.  Many thanks to Epoch Times for publishing this article pictures included.

on Hearing the Story Behind It, She’s Shocked

BY MICHAEL WING, EPOCH TIMES   March 2, 2021

Joseph Sedacca and his family in a photo taken in the mid-80s in Queens, NY: (Top Row, Left to Right) Janice Clough, Joseph’s son David, Joseph Sedacca, his son Albert, Janice’s mother Ida (Sarah’s younger sister), and Joseph’s wife Sarah; (Bottom Left) Janice’s husband Ed; (Bottom Right) David’s then-wife Yvette (Courtesy of Janice Clough)

Joseph Sedacca’s own children could tell that their father wasn’t a normal man. Emotionally, they could see that there was something wrong with him.A Sephardic Jew born in Turkey in 1916, Joseph came to America after the second world war. He always seemed suspicious of others, as if threatened; he spoke very loudly and yelled often when his kids were young; his nieces and nephews, as children, were afraid of him.

Stories of Joseph were told around the dinner table over the years, of how he was in the concentration camps where Jews were sent to be exterminated by the Nazis. “Did he work in the ovens?” some pondered. It must have been horrifying, they knew.

Joseph’s niece Janice Clough (on his wife’s side) remembers that her uncle would wear long sleeves when he visited when she was young. Recalling a gathering years later, Joseph, wearing short sleeves, reached across the dinner table for matzah, and her young daughter saw the numbers “112594” tattooed on his forearm, and was curious about what it meant.

Thus began Janice’s inquiry into her uncle’s traumatic past.

The Roots of Insurrection:  Antifa Exposed

By Janet Levy, AM THINKER

The mainstream media — silent on the Marxist ideology, violence, and militancy of groups like Antifa and Black Lives Matter (BLM) — deceptively reported that the protests they inflicted on over 200 U.S. cities in 2020 were mostly peaceful.” It deceitfully transformed the mayhem into a summer of love.” Widespread rioting, looting, arson, murder, assaults, and destruction of property and businesses went unreported. Such abject failure explains why polls consistently rank the media among Americas least trusted institutions.

Given media complicity with radical groups, its not surprising that the Los Angeles Times dismissed Andy NgoUnmasked: Inside Antifas Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy as unserious, supremely dishonest,” and self-serving.” While video-recording left-wing protests as part of his independent reporting in 2019, Ngo was assaulted and hit with a milkshake containing quick-dry cement. But the Times dismissed his allegation of a brain injury from that attack. It says hes fixated on the imaginary threat of Antifa” and ignores the real danger” from far-right extremists.

Newly Revealed Emails Show Green Bay Officials Gave Keys to 2020 Election to N.Y. Dem Operative

By  AM GREATNESS

The Wisconsin House of Representatives on Wednesday held a hearing to review election irregularities after newly revealed documents obtained by Wisconsin Spotlight revealed that Democrat activists, funded by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, were able to infiltrate the 2020 presidential election in Wisconsin’s five largest cities.

In Green Bay, a Democrat activist was actually given keys to the room where absentee ballots were stored before the 2020 presidential election.

The city received a total of $1.6 million in grant funding from the Zuckerberg-funded Center for Tech and Civic Life, according to Wisconsin Spotlight. A Democrat operative from New York named Michael Spitzer-Rubenstein became a “grant mentor.”

A spectacular backfire

Corporate boycott of donations to GOP election integrity skeptics backfires as seismic shift in fundraising channels small donations to Trump allies

By Thomas Lifson, AM THINKER

The political-media establishment of the US saw the January 6 incursion at the US Capitol as the means of devastating the GOP and forever discrediting all those who dare to question the integrity of the past presidential election. Many large companies self-righteously announced they would no longer donate to the 147 Republicans that voted against certification of the Electoral College vote. They clearly intended to starve their re-election campaigns and drive them from the public square.

It has backfired spectacularly. Donations are up substantially to the leading critics, as small donors more than replace any loss of corporate finds. Reuters reports, comically discrediting itself with all the editorializing about “false” claims of election fraud in what is supposed to be a straight news story.

If anything, the biggest backers of Trump’s false election-fraud narrative – such as Missouri Senator Josh Hawley and Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene – have been rewarded with a flood of grassroots donations, more than offsetting the loss of corporate money. And contributions from both small donors and rich individuals looking to fight the Democratic agenda have poured into the party’s fundraising apparatus.

Analysis: Saudi Arabia, MBS are important to Israel, regional peace

Saudi Arabia should not be pushed into a corner by US policies that are critical of the Kingdom. It should be listened to regarding Iranian threats.

Reports that Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman is ready to meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a possible trip to Abu Dhabi should come as no surprise. This is not only because of a rumored meeting last November, but because of wider regional dynamics that have brought Israel and Saudi Arabia, as well as Israel and the Abraham Accord partners in the Gulf closer.

While support for Saudi Arabia has waned in some Western countries, perceptions of Saudi Arabia’s importance to the recent Abraham Accords and thus to the region and Israel in general, have grown.

Strange Things Happened This Weekend With Arizona Election Investigation

Covering Up The Cover Up

By BlabberBuzz | Tuesday, 09 March 2021

Covering Up The Cover Up: Strange Things Happened This Weekend Wit Arizona Election Investigation

Maricopa County, a current hot zone in Arizona of 2020 election fraud claims, carelessly rejected any wrongdoing even after pictures spread online this weekend of what was asserted to be illegally shredded ballots pulled from a dumpster behind the Elections Department.

County spokeswoman Megan Gilbertson sent a statement to the Washington Examiner on Monday saying the county is informed of the images, which have been propelled around right-wing circles, but denied the materials obtained were from recent elections. “Maricopa County has not, and would never destroy, voted ballots until legally authorized to do so after the 24-month retention period,” she said.

U of T Silent in Face of Damning Antisemitism Report

David Nussbaum. I wonder where else in the last 100 years Jews were hounded from university campuses without remorse? That was one early precursor. I read a great article earlier this week on heroic anti-Nazi resistance movements in Germany beginning in the 1930s and lasting throughout the war.

Apparently Canada is experiencing a different (extreme Leftwing) form of totalitarianism, whose slogans differ but seek the same obliteration of individual rights in favour of the tyrrany of the collectivist-appearing government and use the same techniques for silencing opposition. Of course Jews, who are predominantly individualists, are again deemed unwanted and disposable on university campuses for now. Can it be restricted to campus after today’s students imbibe the poisin, graduate and leave campus for “real life”?

Are there any courageous resistance groups actively involved against this disingenuously imposed tyranny?

I taught at U of T Scarborough Campus for 15 years. (2005-2020.) Very sad.

BNAI BRITH CANADA  March 9, 2021

U of T’s University College building (The Varsity)

TORONTO – A leading Canadian university has declined to respond to a report highlighting systemic antisemitism on all three of its campuses, even as incidents targeting Jewish students and community members continue to occur.

In June 2020, B’nai Brith Canada’s League for Human Rights submitted a 30-page report to administrators at the University of Toronto. The report detailed a chronicle of antisemitic incidents at the institution. The report was authored in response to a now-infamous initial refusal by leaders of the Graduate Students’ Union to support kosher food access on campus.

American Democracy in the balance

If H.R. 1 is enacted the question of whether and to what extent the United States remains a government of laws and a genuine republic will not be possible to answer affirmatively with any confidence.

By Conrad Black, AM GREATNESS

With any reservations about the integrity of the 2020 presidential election being willfully suppressed by most of the national political media and social media, and the Democrats as the governing party in the White House, and the Capitol torquing up to try to secure the adoption of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s bill H.R. 1, it is time to examine the condition of American democracy.

The British developed the common law and the Magna Carta that limited the powers of the king, were early champions of parliamentary government, and developed a broadening franchise throughout the population roughly simultaneously with the United States, and devolved institutions of democracy upon many other countries in its empire.

By Ted Belman

The Channel 13 survey  predicted 29 seats for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud, 20 for Lapid’s Yesh Atid, 11 for Bennett’s Yamina and only nine for Sa’ar’s New Hope.

When the campaigns started Sa’ar was within 5 seats of Netanyau.  He is now 19 behind.

The pro- Netanyahu block – Likud, Shas, UTJ and the Religious Zionist Party – received 46 seats.

The anti-Netanyahu block  – Yesh Atid, New Hope, Yisrael Beytenu, Labor, Blue and White and Meretz – received 54.

‘Court ruling creates danger of Israel being overrun by fake converts from Africa’

By Ted Belman

The Supreme Court ruling,  is narrow in scope: It applies only to Jews who have converted under non-Orthodox auspices within Israel’s borders, which encompasses a small number of people. Still, haredi politicians and leaders have fulminated against it.

Resistance to the ruling dovetails with another hot-button political issue in Israel: the status of African illegal immigrants in Israel, a population of roughly 30,000.

Shas,  “thousands of infiltrators and foreign workers will become Jewish through Reform conversion.”
