A Gulf-Israel defense alliance will end the Israel-Palestinian conflict and confront Iran

T. Belman. The pact between Israel and the Gulf states is well on its way. The US is powerless to stop it or redirect it.  The US is now a bystander.  If they want to be a player they have to help not prevent. Gantz has given notice to the world that Israel is ready to destroy Hezbollah and its missiles and to set back the Iranian nuclear project. Israel can’t wait much longer.

The Arab Gulf States

The Arab Gulf States

The historic narrative of the Israel-Arab conflict has been that the region and the wider Arab and Muslim world will not countenance the existence of the Jewish State, and has tried on many occasions in the past to extinguish it.

A recent report suggesting that Israel, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates are exploring the possibility of creating a four-nation defense alliance has potentially game-changing ramifications.

Naftali Bennett is on a roll.

By Ted Belman

Yamina now leads  MK Gideon Sa’ar’s New Hope party, and is  projected to become the third largest party in the Knesset, according to a new poll released Thursday.

The poll  found that if new elections were held today, the Likud would win 29 seats, down from 31 in the previous Direct Polls survey, which was published in early February.

Yamina gained 2 seats going from 11 to 13 .

Jew-Hatred in Education

By BROOKE GOLDSTEIN Founder and Executive Director, THE LAWFARE PROJECT   3/4/21 One of our most sacred responsibilities as parents is to make sure our children receive a proper education. When we place our kids in the state’s care for eight hours per day, we hope and expect they will come home with more knowledge than they had before leaving the house in the morning. And while we want that information to increase their chances of succeeding in the world, we also want them to come home kinder and more open-minded.

We don’t want them to come home hating Jews. Yet, with California’s ethnic studies model curriculum, that’s a real risk.

US to rejoin UNCHR

By Nitsana Darshan Leitner,

It has been said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. This is especially true concerning the wishful thinking in the moral divide of international affairs. One month into his administration, President Joe Biden’s foreign policy team is about to embark on a measure of what is pure political insanity by rejoining the United Nations Human Rights Council—a decision that contradicts everything that the United States is supposed to stand for.

“Who’s a Jew?” Here We Go Again.

By Victor Rosenthal

Israel’s Supreme Court decided a few days ago that conversions to Judaism by the Reform and Conservative movements in Israel must be recognized by the state for the purposes of the Law of Return. Until now, the state has somewhat illogically recognized non-Orthodox conversions done outside of the country, but has not accepted those that took place here.

Despite what many of us think about the Court, it did not make this decision out of rampant leftism and desire to destroy Judaism. In fact, the justices probably would have preferred not to have to take up this issue, which is the hottest potato in Israeli politics.

Democrats have reason to be scared

By Patricia McCarthy, AM THINKER

[…] Bierce’s little parable describes our plight in the face of the tsunami of leftist abrogation of our Constitution since they illicitly took power.  Not even their mouthpieces in the media believe that Biden won the election fair and square.  That is why they protest so hysterically when anyone states the obvious.  That is why there are seven or eight thousand National Guard troops stationed as props around the Capitol in D.C.  As Devin Nunes remarked, it is a Hollywood production, all for show, a pseudo-event meant to send a particular message: we are running the show now.  You will do as we say, and you’ll like it.

The ICC’s policy of prosecuting Israel may be the end of the ICC

By Ted Belman

As you know, the ICC is getting ready to open an investigation into alleged war crimes committed by Israeli officials.

The probe will deal with the armed conflict of the summer of 2014, but notably excludes any investigation of the murder of three Israeli teenagers by Palestinian terrorists that started the escalation.

According to the TOI,

COKE GOING BROKE, SO GOES WOKE

By Daniel Greenfield, FPM  03 Mar 2021

“Get woke, go broke”, is a conservative meme about the cost of political correctness that has it the wrong way around. Brands don’t go broke because they get woke, they go woke because they’re going broke, and don’t know how to stop the slow but steady collapse of their business.

The big brands that go woke infuriate conservatives because, like Coke, Gillette, or Nike, they have a storied name that seems entwined with America and the success of capitalism. But it’s those old, familiar brands that go woke because their products and business models are dated. Virtue signaling is their way of adapting to a changing market without really innovating. Behind every big woke brand is a company slowly going broke and with no clue what to do about it.

Don’t trust the utterances of the US State Department

By Ted Belman

Arutz Sheva published an article by Nitsan Keidar in which he commented on the change of tone of the State Department.

US State Department spokesman Ned Price spoke to reporters on Monday, with his answers to reporters’ questions clarifying the change between the positions of the Trump administration and those of President Joe Biden.

Biden’s State Department is driven by the desire to not support anything that Trump did domestically or internationally.

Price noted that “the United States opposes any action taken by Israel which may make it difficult to reach a two-state solution.”

A Great Post Mortem

Tierney’s News (3/03/21)

I just listened to General Flynn in a recent interview. It’s apparent now that he has NEVER been part of President Trump’s inner circle since he was fired – nor has he even communicated with him over the past 4 years. He talks to Trump through his advisers – not directly. Flynn said he was a registered Democrat when he met Trump. Flynn said we are stuck with Biden. Flynn said he doesn’t know if Trump will run again.

Flynn said all the Q talk about the inauguration day and March 4th is fake and there is no return to victory. Remember when Flynn told us that he would “tell us the truth” about what happened to him under Obama after he was pardoned? He has not. Remember how Flynn kept posting “every lie will be revealed.” It has not. So is he part of the coup or part of the solution or simply a guy who overstated his importance along with Wood, Byrne & Powell? We shall see.

Is authoritarianism replacing democracy? It looks like it.

T. Belman.  Erich Fromm, in his seminal book, Escape from Freedom, postulated that the masses preferred serfdom to freedom as freedom required responsibility and choices. This book was also republished under the title Fear of Freedom. Fromm was greatly influenced by both Freud and Marx. Apparently, according to him, people prefer to be taken care of rather then to have to fend for themselves.  If that involved the loss of freedom or rights, which it does, so be it.

Obviously not everyone wants that trade off.

Communist societies herald collectivism as the way forward as opposed to individualism. Under the former, everything is done for the collective as opposed to the individual.  Jabotinsky wrote a paper Individual v Socialism.  (Sorry, I couldn’t find a link for it.) in which he condemns socialism and noted that the Jews are far better off as individuals.

Washington — March 3, 2021 — Authoritarian actors grew bolder during 2020 as major democracies turned inward, contributing to the 15th consecutive year of decline in global freedom, according to Freedom in the World 2021, the annual country-by-country assessment of political rights and civil liberties released today by Freedom House.

Fraudulent Covid death data

Dying WITH Covid and dying FROM Covid are two entirely different things.

By Dennis McGowan, AM THINKER

I’ve had enough.  The media continues to report what they consider the death toll from the Wuhan Virus, despite the fact that it is fiction and defies basic tenets of scientific integrity.  Back in October Senator Hirono repeated, again, the “over 200,000” deaths statistic.  This is a lie.  I’ll explain why, but first let me tell you what qualifies me to know it’s a lie.

From 1964 to 1970, in High School and College, I worked as an autopsy assistant at St. Vincent’s Hospital on 12th Street in New York City, a few blocks from my own address on 14th.  After getting married and moving a few times I went to work in the Medical Examiner’s Office in Freehold, NJ both as a tech and an in-house investigator dealing with forensic cases.  From there I went to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Newark supervising several disciplines.  Finally, in 1992 I was hired as the Chief Investigator for the Medical Examiner’s Office in Fulton County, Georgia, in the city of Atlanta.  Along the way I taught many classes in death investigation and served in several posts within the Federal team that responded to mass fatalities.

Why Nations fail or prosper

By Ted Belman  (Jan 28/13)

My daughter, Aliza, spent considerable time with me at the hospital. One of the more interesting conversations we had, had to do with a book she was reading, Why Nations Fail. The sub title of this book is, The Origins of Power, Prosperity, and Poverty. It was written by James Robinson and Daron Acemoglu.

The subject came up because she wanted to share some ideas contained in it with me. As you may recall her area of expertise is third world development and this book was made to order for her.

In a nutshell.

Israel’s 2020 death rate increased by as much as 10%

The number of deaths in the country rose by 7 percent during 2020 compared to the years 2017-2019, taking into consideration population growth, the Taub Center for Social Policy Studies said in its report. However, considering the fact that the figures had been expected to decrease without the virus spread, the mortality rate actually rose by about 10%, according to study author Prof. Alex Weinreb.

“Although this is a significant increase, it is lower than the increase in other countries,” the statement said. It highlighted the situation in the United States, where mortality has gone up by 18%.

Are Female IDF soldiers who converted while in the army, shiksas

By Ted Belman

So said United Torah Judaism Yitzhak Pindrus, speaking Monday on a panel at a conference organized by the ITIM organization and Kipa website, when discussing  the case of the daughter of a Jewish father and non-Jewish mother who converts under the military’s auspices. He later apologized.

The army’s Nativ program, founded in 2001, is the only state-recognized conversion system in the country not controlled by the Chief Rabbinate. Hundreds of soldiers, most of them non-Jewish immigrants or descendants of immigrants from the former Soviet Union, enter the army’s conversion system each year.

Philanthropy can be Fatal

An entrepreneur with an estimated net worth of more than $136 billion, Bill Gates founded Microsoft and technology; is deeply involved with the World Health Organization, which encompasses the world economy and world peace; the international Planned Parenthood Foundation, focusing on eugenics and population control; and the many facets of academia, all without the corresponding educational background. He is now prepared to control our food supply, the climate, and shoot for the sun.

by Tabitha Korol

Bill Gates is one of several non-academics who, notwithstanding, has been permitted to implement major changes in our education system in preparation for a federal takeover.  Promoted by President Obama’s administration, the schools now communicate a radical political ideology to produce workers for a global economy.  Had their intentions been honorable, they might well have reverted back to the older textbooks when the overhaul proved to be less than stellar, but it was progressing precisely according to plan.

Biden warns Israel not to take unilateral steps regarding Palestinians.

By Ted Belman

The US “encourages” Israel to avoid unilateral steps that “exacerbate tensions and make it difficult to preserve the viability of a two-state solution,” US State Department spokesman Ned Price said Monday.

He went on to say “We intend to provide assistance that will benefit all Palestinians, including refugees. We are in the process of determining how to move forward on resuming all forms of that assistance consistent with US law,” and he also indicated that the Biden administration wants to craft a peace deal with Saudi Arabia and take the credit for it.  Pompeo said it was in the bag.

Biden, no doubt will screw it up.

Read about it on Israel Hayom.
