The War on Jewish History and Rights Must be Defeated

by Alex Nachumson,  The Jewish Press

Jewish and Christian volunteers work to rebuild a stone wall at site of Joshua’s Altar on Mount Ebal earlier this month after it was bulldozed by the Palestinian Authority.

There is a well-known saying: “Truth is the first casualty in war.”

Ever since the Arabs of the region first attacked the idea of a return to Jewish sovereignty, the truth of the rights and history of Jews in their ancestral and indigenous homeland has been at stake.

While at the turn of the last century, most Arabs knew the strong Jewish connection to the land, there was a strong undercurrent to try and change the narrative.

One week in progressive America

Sunlight is the best disinfectant, and the scrutiny the Democrats are not being subjected to will likely make it difficult for them to maintain their Senate and House majorities in 2022.

By Caroline Glick, jns

The Democrats had a lousy week. It began with former President Donald Trump’s acquittal in the Senate.

Trump’s acquittal was a major blow to the Democrats. It isn’t that anyone believed Trump would be convicted. Whether Republicans love or hate the former president, the fact is that it is unconstitutional to hold an impeachment trial for a former officeholder. And for that reason alone, there was no chance that more than a smattering of Republicans would support the move.

But once the farcical trial ended, public focus moved to the Democrats—who now control both houses of Congress and the White House. True, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is already planning to drag Trump back to center stage with her “January 6 Truth Commission.” But that won’t happen for several months. And in the meantime, for the first time in five years, the Democrats find themselves, and their actions, the focus of public attention.

Former world leaders take stand opposing ICC investigation of Israel

Newly-appointed Hague chief prosecutor Karim Khan reminded that Israel is not a member of the ICC and has an independent, internationally recognized legal system that investigates and prosecutes when necessary.

Former world leaders take stand opposing ICC investigation of Israel

No fewer than 16 former heads of state, high-ranking ministers, and security experts have reached out to the newly-appointed chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court at The Hague, Karim Khan, and warned him that an investigation against Israel would be part of international efforts to delegitimize Israel and would make the ICC into a political entity, hurting its own standing.

Israel Policy in the Biden Administration

by Peter Schweizer, GI  •  February 21, 2021

  • The Obama administration negotiated a nuclear deal (JCPOA) with the Iranian mullahs that was bad for the U.S. (which found it had only legitimized the regime that the U.S. Department of State called the “world’s worst state sponsor of terrorism”) and bad for Israel (the deal would allow Iran, after a few years, to become a full-blown nuclear power).

“Joe Biden Courts Islam, not Muslims,”

T. Belman. Joe Biden is not a friend of Israel

I just received a PDF which contains the following articles.  I will post one a day starting with this one.
Joe Biden courts Islam, not Muslims
Joe Biden repudiates Trump on Iran
Joe Biden repudiates Trump on Palestinians
Joe Biden’s anti-Semitic & anti-Israel appointments
Joe Biden: Israel’s Fake ‘Friend’
Joe Biden’s bitter exchange with Menachem Begin

By Mark Durie,  Jewish News Syndicate, 8/12/2020, at    https://www.jns.org/opinion/joe-biden-courts-islam-not-muslims/

As Muslim communities in Western nations continue to grow in size and influence, politicians will court their vote.

In the 2016 U.S. presidential election, Muslims had the lowest rate of voter registration of any religious group. This time around, however, the Million Muslim Votes movement is seeking to change all that by getting Muslims to turn out in droves for presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden on November 3.

US ““We don’t anticipate taking additional steps, as in snapback” prior to negotiations.

T. Belman.  Rather than assert that she won’t lift the sanctions, the US comes out with the weak assurance that she “doesn’t anticipate taking additional steps, as in snapback”.  That is, until she does .

“We’re prepared to reengage in negotiations with the P5+1 on Iran’s nuclear program,” Biden tells the Munich Security Conference.

The United States has no plans to meet Tehran’s demand that it lift Trump-era sanctions against Iran as a prerequisite to holding talks to reenter the 2015 nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic.

“There’s no plan to take additional steps in advance of having a conversation — a diplomatic conversation,” White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told a reporter aboard Air Force One on Friday en route to Michigan. She spoke in direct response to a question on the matter.

The Palestinian Issue – a Land-for-Peace proposition?

The land acquired by Israel in 1967 is not the issue. Opinion.

By Amb. (ret.) Yoram Ettinger, INN Feb 19 , 2021

Israelis march in Judea and Samaria

Israelis march in Judea and Samaria

Conventional wisdom assumes that the Palestinian Authority is amenable to peaceful-coexistence with Israel; that peaceful-coexistence is advanced by financial support of the Palestinian Authority; that a core concern for the Palestinian Authority is the land acquired by Israel in the 1967 War; and that land-for-peace (Israel’s retreat to the pre-1967 lines) is a prerequisite for Israel-Palestinian peaceful-coexistence.

Are these assumptions consistent with the Palestinian Arab reality?

UK: BBC Woman’s Hour faces firestorm of criticism over ‘hostile’ interview with Muslim leader

BY

This is incredible. 100 “prominent figures” are enraged because a BBC interviewer asked the Muslim Council of Britain’s Zara Mohammed some tough questions. Many of them no doubt signed on to this because they assume that Muslims are subjected to widespread discrimination and harassment in Britain and all over the West, and so should be given special consideration. But the fact that there is any outrage at all over this is an indication of how far that assumption is from the truth. Zara Mohammed is not downtrodden; she is privileged. That’s why there is this outcry: Emma Barnett dared to challenge a privileged person whom she should have regarded with reverence and treated with kid gloves.

How Loyal Was Mike Pence?

Pence was perfectly suited to be vice president . . . for Mitt Romney.

BFebruary 16, 2021

“Keep your friends close and your enemies closer” is a maxim of realpolitik and other matters where the stakes are high. To be effective in practice, an enemy invited into one’s organization needs to be kept truly close—that is, monitored carefully and always held accountable.

President Donald Trump appointed many NeverTrumpers and other enemies of his agenda—more significantly, enemies of his voters—to influential posts within his administration. In most cases, these appointees were not “kept close”—at least not close enough to prevent them from undermining his policies, his relationship with his political base, and his viability for reelection.

Biden Cannot Allow the Taliban to Destroy Trump’s Peace Legacy

by Con Coughlin, GI  •  February 20, 2021

  • Under the terms of that agreement with the US, the Taliban agreed to negotiate a peaceful resolution of this benighted country’s long-running civil war in return for Washington agreeing to withdraw all its remaining forces. In addition, they agreed to cut their ties with Islamist terrorist organisations such as Al-Qaeda.
  • While Mr Trump kept his side of the bargain, reducing US forces from around 13,000 at the time the deal was signed last February to just 2,500 when he left office, there has been little evidence of the Taliban fulfilling their commitments under the terms of the agreement.

U.S. and European Government Leaders Slam ICC Investigation into Israel

By Adam Kredo, FREE BEACON  – FEB 19, 2021

People enter the International Criminal

The International Criminal Court’s decision to initiate an investigation into alleged Israeli war crimes threatens to undermine the body’s judicial integrity and is driven by groups that seek to delegitimize the world’s only Jewish state, according to a group of former senior government and military officials from the United States and Europe.

The ICC’s recent decision to pursue charges against Israel represents an “unprecedented campaign of delegitimization against Israel waged by the enemies of the Jewish State and supported by numerous international institutions,” according to a letter sent by these government officials on Friday to newly installed ICC chief prosecutor Karim Khan. The Friends of Israel Initiative, an international coalition of former military and government officials that advocates on Israel’s behalf, organized the letter, a copy of which was obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

John Kerry Claims ‘We Have 9 Years Left’ to Avoid Climate Catastrophe

L. Goudsmit. The climate hucksters were unable to frighten people into submission with their doom and gloom predictions, so the COVID19 hucksters took over to make the scare more personal. 9 years is the estimated time it will take for the Great Reset to be fully implemented, and for the planetary governance of technocracy to enslave us all. At this rate it won’t take that long. Climate change and COVID19 are two of the most sinister and dangerous Humanitarian Hoaxes cooked up to collapse the United States of America. World government cannot be achieved without the destruction and submission of the U.S. Everything else is details.<
>

by Jack Davis, WESTERN JOURNAL

Waving a rhetorical banner of doom and trashing former President Donald Trump, Biden administration climate czar John Kerry proclaimed Friday that looming climate disaster is only nine years away.

Kerry spoke to the Munich Security Conference as part of the hoopla surrounding the formal readmission of the United States to the Paris climate accords, which seeks to reduce global emissions.

“Three years ago, scientists warned that if we want to prevent the worst consequences of the climate crisis, we have to limit the planet’s warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius. That’s the magic number by consensus among most scientists,” Kerry said Friday, according to a transcript of his remarks posted by Yahoo.

Meet Haredi woman who teaches oral sex

Despite preconceived notions, Rachel Yakobov established ‘The Pleasure Academy’ and decided to teach women about their sexuality after enrolling in a ‘sex school’ in Moscow, as her own way to do a mitzvah

By Lori Stadtmauer, YNET NEWS

Rachel Yakobov

It was a brisk autumn night in the Russian capital of Moscow when Rachel Yakobov’s husband, David, came back home, excitedly waving a brochure advertising a “sex school”.

While Rachel’s first reaction was to take offense at David’s proposition, she eventually decided to enroll in the class, which would ultimately change her life for the better.

Chasing the Zionist dream, one settlement at a time

We must not wait for the international community to approve construction in Judea and Samaria. That will come once Israel has established the facts on the ground.

By  Prof. Eyal Zisser, ISRAEL HAYOM

Exactly one year ago, Israel was poised to realize the dream of applying sovereignty to large parts of Judea and Samaria with US support and the tacit consent of a few Arab states. Israel, however, chose not to take this path, preferring the immediate achievements of the signing of the Abraham Accords to a possible confrontation with the Palestinians and the international community.

The realization of the sovereignty dream was postponed and may, as Israel Hayom‘s Ariel Kahana argued earlier this week, have been missed entirely. With Joe Biden now serving as US president, it will take a massive effort, and maybe even a miracle, to advance such a move. This is clear from the recent statements by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, in which he stopped short of endorsing former US President Donald Trump’s recognition of the Golan Heights as part of Israel. He said that unlike Israel’s practical control over the territory, which the US fully supports, the question of sovereignty would need to be dealt with in legal and other talks when Syria can get back on its own two feet.
