Iran refused any movement on the only topic on which Iran was willing to talk. So the ‘negotiations’ would appear to have been more of an Iranian dictation to US. In the few hours which have passed since then, Iranian provocation have continued (see tweets below). The Iranians have no interest in avoiding war – they are seeking a confrontation with the US. Will this be the weekend in which their fantasies are fulfilled?
